It was our last night in Boracay. We had seafood a few nights while there but I still hadn't found salmon. I love salmon and I wanted to try it on this beach island before heading back to Luzon. All week, we went through numerous menus and tried numerous restaurants. I'm here to say this was by far the best we had. I LOVED THIS PLACE! When visiting the island, I will say get away from the dozens of beach restaurants. Those beach restaurants are good too but there are some serious gems if you go searching for them. We looked over the menu for Pig Out and took off walking. We had gone looking for a place called CocoMama earlier in the week. They're both in the same area. This place doesn't have a bad menu item. I wanted to try everything! On future visits, we might just eat here every night! When we arrived, we had to wait for an open table. It wasn't too bad... about 15 minutes and we were seated. They do have a lobby so it was easy waiting and the server gave us a menu to look over while we were waiting. We were first given one of the two-person tables. After a few tables left, my fiance asked to be moved to another table. We already had our drinks and placed our order. The restaurant happily answered our request. The table we were moved to was so much better. We had the extra space and privacy we needed along with comfier chairs. And we were next to the kitchen window so we could watch the food being cooked...always a plus! On to the food: Smoked Ceviche - Local fish. Smoked coconut milk. Red Onion. Citrus marinade. Tomato-horseradish granita. Orange confit. (368 php - 7ish USD). I love ceviche but I wasn't sure what to expect ordering it in another country. It was the same, different, and delicious! These are served in these little saucers... kind of like little shots or oysters. When ordering ceviche, it's primarily for the fish and citrus for me. The tomato aspect of this dish was the main flavor but everything else was there creating an awesome flavor explosion in my mouth! We loved them! Well worth the money! Salmon - Grilled Norwegian Salmon. Basil cream sauce. Baked marble potato. (768 php - 15ish USD). The Salmon here knocked it out of the park. I wasn't sure about the basil cream sauce but it complimented the salmon. And they give you just enough sauce that it's all soaked up by the last bite of your salmon. I appreciated that. Every bite was perfection! Lechon Belly - Smoked 40-hours sous vide pork belly. Scallion puree. Grilled Leeks. Pinakurat. Steamed Rice. (398 php - 8ish USD). Ella ordered the Lechon. I didn't try a bite although I should've. I didn't want to mash Lechon flavor with my salmon and ceviche satisfaction so I passed. We were so satisfied with this meal. If you're on the island and looking for a place to eat. Go here. Quality food! Great service! Awesome atmosphere!

I highly recommend making a reservation. I didn't even know that was an option. This spot is locatged right next to Jony's Boutique hotel. The night we arrived to Boracay, we just popped in and our wait was probably 30 minutes. The place is small with some Filipino decor in the interior, so I highly recommend not coming in big groups. We had come in a big group, but since everyone was so hungry, we ended up splitting up. The first group had 6 that ate together, then we had about 8 in our group. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. For our food, we ordered Tuna Carpaccio, Scallops with Lemon Curd, Octopus Tentacles, Grilled Prawns, Bone Marrow Baked Oysters, and 2 Seafood Platters. The Seafood Platter had grilled squid, citrus cured salmon, pickled oyster, baked oyster, smoked-fish ceviche, grilled fish, garlic-steamed small clams, grilled prawns, grilled mussels, and rustic bread. We definitely had leftovers after. I didn't care too much for the carpaccio, but the scallops and prawns were delicious! We all love the bone marrow oysters. Our octopus was a little overcooked, so it was hard to cut into. From the platter, the grilled prawns, mussels, and squid were amazing! If you're craving seafood in Boracay, this is the spot to go to! We were hesitant on eating anything raw unless it had some kind of citrus component, so Pig Out did not disappoint! Enjoyed all the grilled items! Our service was great. They were very accomdating for our last minute group. They did forget our pork belly, but I'm glad they did because we were stuffed from all the seafood. Overall, add this to your list if you're in Boracay!

Amazing food and service!!!! I highly recommend this place !!! We ordered the calamari and the bone marrow oyster for our appetizers and for our main we ordered steak and burgers.

A hidden gem in Boracay walking by it outside! You come here to eat a rarity in terms of flavors with their seafood. We came in through a suggestion of a local and we were not disappointed. Get the seafood platter and their one of a kind bone marrow oysters. We also had the grilled pork chop. This was a big butcher's cut that you don't see in eateries in the Philippines and it was divine. Chef Jun has taken his culinary expertise and has a created an experience we will not forget here in Boracay. Must try for foodies looking for a surprise who is not looking for a Michelin star ambience but a taste of a Michelin star meal. Also, the watermelon drink was superb and fresh with a taste of the local produce. I hope to come back again to try some of the other items on the menu.

Sarap sarap. Seafood platter this time was goood! Grilled Pork chop was not as tender as the first time we had it but still good.

We were looking for something different from all the beach/touristy restaurants. Found The Pig Out Bistro on YELP and were not disappointed at all. Service was great and food was excellent!

Make reservations ahead of time. This restaurant was EXCELLENT. From the servers (Luz is the best), the ambience, to the absolutely delicious food. The Pig Out literally made us all PIG OUT. The Seafood Platter was amazing and an absolute MUST have. The Fish and Chips, Rib eye steak, tuna tartare sandwich, and the crab cake burger were also *chef's kiss*!!! The mango and watermelon drinks were an unexpected surprise. This is an absolute must when visiting Boracay! It truly made our bellies feel special because we had ZERO leftovers.

Great prices if you can bargain!! I loved it and the attendants are pretty friendly once you speak to them. My family came here based on a recommendation from a local. It's in the middle of many other flea market style vendors. We saw from big fresh tiger shrimp, huge live lobster, crabs, tuna, sea urchins and more! They were all alive and kicking. You can tell these are fresh from the sea and not old from a tank at your super market! My hubby and I ordered from this vendor, the hugest lobster there and bargained for it. You can't buy this from the states and cook it like this!! This will fit at least 4 people. Once we ordered all the other seafoods with family, each seafood vendor is affiliated with a place to cook the seafood. They have different ways to cook it for you. It was cooked just right and we did not regret spending the cash for this to be cooked... If you are not into seafood, you don't want to come here as it does smell like seafood. Finally found it on a tourist map and it is in D'Talipapa plaza; around the corner of my hotel. I went during peak hours and it wasn't busy at all. No sides are included with the seafood prices, not even rice. So expect to spend here. Better to dine with a squad instead of solo - so you can enjoy a broader selection of seafood & sides and split the hefty bill. A live one pound warm water lobster set me back $34 USD! I can get one pound cold water Maine lobsters at 99 Ranch for $8-10 lb. Had I known I could have gotten live Russian king crab in Seoul, I would have skipped the lobster here for this price. According to Joey's review, you can bring your seafood from the wet market outside and have them cook it. This might be a cheaper alternative than buying from them directly. I opted for garlic butter but it tasted a bit odd - like soy sauce was used. So just go with butter. It was cooked properly - not over or under. Service was brisk and they spoke good enough English.

AKLAN ADOBO WINGS: I was really craving fried wings and was hoping that's what these would be, but I guess it makes sense that they weren't since adobo isn't usually deep fried. The sauce was tasty, but for some pieces the meat was a bit dry. GARLIC RICE: Simple but delicious and really helped round out the meal. Serving size is also pretty big - definitely don't order one per person. I think one order is good to share between 2 or even 3 people if you don't want a lot of rice. Service was top-notch! Our waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. The oysters usually come with 4 per order, but they gave us an extra one for each order because they saw we were a group of 5...so generous!
