The burger was juicy and flavorful with fresh toppings on a soft, lightly toasted sesame bun, and the fries were perfectly crispy and golden while still fluffy inside. The vibe is relaxed but elevated, and the service was friendly and attentive without feeling overbearing. It's an easy place to sit back, enjoy the view, and take your time. If you're staying at the Shangri-La or visiting the area, Vintana is absolutely worth a stop. It has great food, incredible views, and a spot you'd happily come back to.

But the experience would not be complete without the brunch buffet offered complimentary at Vintana. The restaurant has a relaxed yet elegant vibe, with a modern design that feels both welcoming and classy. The food is authentic, offering various cuisines, but primarily Filipino dishes that change from day to day. There are Filipino flavors and international dishes, as well as breakfast options like fresh fruit, pastries and many other choices. I had my all-time favorites, like Kare-Kare (oxtail curry), Sisig (chopped pork parts with chicken liver and onions, seasoned with calamansi and chili peppers), Lechon, Mahi-mahi fish in broth, Pansit, a variety of noodles, fried rice, eggs to order, and Lumpiang Sariwa (fresh spring rolls). There were so many more dishes to try. For drinks, I ordered a flat white coffee one day and enjoyed a variety of their fresh fruit drinks, like watermelon, cantaloupe and mango. For desserts, the Taho (soft soybean pudding with mini boba) brought back memories, as I ate a lot of this growing up. They also had Crepes with various fillings, Kalamay's (sweet sticky Filipino desserts) and Puto (rice cakes). What we loved about this place was the hospitality of the staff. They were all attentive and very respectful. We felt at home and were accommodated nicely. They all gave their best and always with a great smile. Vintana Cafe is a must-visit while staying at Shangri-La. Everything, from the food and customer service to view, was top-notch.

We dined on a Wednesday early evening for a party of 4. When we came in the place wasn't so busy but later on diners and customers started coming in. We wanted to eat classic and traditional Filipino soul food. We ordered garlic fried rice, bangus sisig, pork sisig, lumpia Shanghai, fried chicken, Gulaman at sago and mango juice to name a few. The sisig was flavorful and crispy. It was on point. It was also plentiful. The lumpia Shanghai was fried properly and inside was not overcooked. Fried chicken was deep fried yet the chicken still remained tender. Garlic fried rice was yummy and not overwhelming. Sago at gulaman was good and not too sweet. Also enjoyed the mango juice. We can't wait to come back and try other food items on Kuya J's menu.

I ordered the typical burger -which they don't ask how you want the meat cooked (it always seems well- done) with a side of their fries. My husband ordered the ube shake which, I have to agree, is A MUST! The burger was actually something I'd expect coming from the states, so a little taste of home is always nice. The only reason I took one star away was because the food takes a while to be ready. There's also a lot of confusion as to what to do with the trays once you've completed your meal. I didn't see anyone cleaning up tables and many people just leave their trash on the table. Although there is a section for your waste, it's unclear where you put the rest of the stuff. Understandably, this is right off a busy beach and it's hard to keep up since they're busy- but as long as the food is good, I'm coming back!

We had breakfast buffet at Lagoon Cafe 4 times and had dinner once. We had an excellent experience. Breakfast buffet was always different and new during our stay. I really enjoyed the ube champorado as to me that was quite unique since I've never had it before. It wasn't too sweet either. All the meals served during breakfast was delicious from the garlic friend rice to the beef dishes, chicken dishes, seafood dishes, boneless milkfish, tapa, longanisa (there were 3 different kinds), tocino and several others. There were also a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables which we enjoyed. For dinner we ordered different types of dishes along with an Ube Colada. On our last breakfast buffet at Lagoon Cafe the sweet staff made us a personalized dessert stating, "Thank you for staying with us."
