I thought by giving him my history of tests I took he would be able to help me to manage my conditions and address my questions. Instead he kept pushing a dangerous colonoscopy and a endoscopy. He was (and still is) a good doctor, but years later, before moving to the Clark Office, my current primary care physician is: Dr. Kusiak, and I always enjoy have her, ever since, yet, she more than just a physician, but she also dedicates herself to humor and devotion with me, as she hears so much about my own family, who always looks after my health. When she's either busy (with other patients), out of town or has prior commitments, I usually go see Dr. Dyksterhouse (as of early this year) and he too is a very humourous physician, but is the opposite of Kusiak. I've been not only a big asset to these physicians, whom I see them, as my family, they are now my friends, as I'm part of the Trinity Health group.

I like that they are one-stop health care, and whatever they don't do at the office gets handled quickly with a referral. I had two issues that have developed over the last year and he was able to issue referrals for treatment from my previously used specialists. Something my former PCP would not do. He is a partner in "Partners In Internal Medicine". They have two offices, 1 in Canton the other in Ann Arbor. They have an onsite lab so I have to go back Monday morning to complete today's visit. My spouse sees Dr. Hashemian from the same practice. We highly recommend the treatment we receive.

It's easy to navigate and find the office you're looking for. I will say, the check in and check out processes are exhausting. When we arrived, only one check in kiosk was working. I helped an elderly patient work the system as well as it's not super intuitive like other U of M self check in kiosks have been elsewhere that I've used. The check in line without the self check kiosk is long, think 12 patients long. Checking out requires you to wait in the same long line. It goes by faster than you think, but it took me 15 minutes to get through. Someone with a physical injury may be hard pressed to stand in line for 15 minutes. My toddler was tired and cranky and that was hard enough. I think they need a speedy lane for those with physical ailments or others that have a hard time physically standing. It would be excellent for there to be a large-print sign letting patients with physical disabilities know they can enter a different queue. The doctor we saw through Kellogg Eye Center there was top notch, as they all are, but I may opt for driving to Ann Arbor for future appointments.

He he printed out that list and brought it with us to the offices -- I thought it would be embarrassed by it, but now I know it showed we meant business! We wanted to find someone who would consult with us and respect our decisions on vaccinations and antibiotics. We wanted to veer on the homeopathic side of care whenever possible. We wanted someone who respected the fact that our son was born at home with a midwife. It was hard to find all of this in a pediatrician, but in a family doctor, Dr. Scheerer was the It man. Dr. Scheerer is accomodating, I don't feel like a sardine in a tin can in his waiting room, he sits with you and really listens to your concerns. He knows his holistics but is also affiliated with St. Joe's, so you get the best of both worlds. He supports breastfeeding. He looks like he was in a rock band once, but has pictures of his family on a slideshow screensaver. Also, since he's a family doctor, he can take care of the whole fam. He sees babies every day, so we felt comfortable to have our son under his care. His staff remembers us and it really feels a lot more inviting than any other doctor I've been to. If you really like flourescent lights, a hospital setting, and a sterile-feeling environment, then he probably isn't for you. His office is in this awesome gigantic purple house near Planned Parenthood.

He is thoughtful, thorough and engaging. His standard of care is among the best I have ever experienced in any of a variety of medical settings. There is another doctor there, Dr Jennifer Burlingame so I made appointments for my son and myself. ( I cannot find any reviews on her as of this date) My sons first appointment was made for 3:00 but the day beforehand I was called and they moved his appointment to 3:40. When we arrived at 3:30 we were told that we had missed his appointment and since the office is a "very busy" one that he could not be seen. I told her how we had been called and told the time for the appointment had been changed and for her to just forget it and to also cancel the appointment I had for the following week. She said then that he could be seen. So we sat and waited.. and waited. We waited 25 minutes in outside waiting room and then another 35 minutes in the back. It was over an hour to see the doctor. I thought it would be better for my appointment. I got there just before 2:00 for my 2:20 appointment. The outside doors are locked from 1:00 until 2:00 for lunch. I thought.. wonderful... since I was first inside and had an appointment just after lunch. surely my wait would be minimum. There was only one other patient waiting who came in after I did. The other patient was called back first and then I was called after. At 2:40 my son texted to see what the hold up was. The doctor showed up just after 3:00. Visit with doctor was about 10 minutes. Third trip was better with only about 20 minutes of a wait for my son, it was a just after lunch appointment as well. The doctor seems very nice but my first rating will be in the middle and is most influenced at this time by the long waits. As we have more interactions with the doctor I will edit/update my review.

IM STUCK WITH A $80 BILL!…read more I came here having symptoms that correlated with an upper respiratory infection besides a cough. they insisted that I needed to be tested for Covid, Strep, and the flu. And what do you know they all came back negative! So they sent me on my way with a nausea medication and a cough suppressant when I had NO COUGH! I Had to call back up here because I was not getting any better and to have them call in an antibiotic. And once I started taking the antibiotics that I HAD TO ASK TO BE SENT IN I was feeling better.
