As if I wasn't stressed enough! 1/14/2019 - I called the office to request a pediatric ortho referral for my daughter. I gave the receptionist the information that she requested and she said that she would request the referral. 1/17/2019- I called the office for a follow-up. The referral had not been submitted. The receptionist gives me 2 numbers to call (they did not do that initially) for make an ortho appointment for my daughter. 1/18/2019- I call back with the appointment info and the receptionist says that the referral will be completed "that day". 1/23/2019-Day of the ortho appointment. Arrived at the ortho appointment and the receptionist informs me that they have not received the referral and my daughter cannot be seen until they receive it. Called Dr. Malik's office and the receptionist tells me that the ortho office "can pull the referral from the TRICARE" site. WHAT KIND OF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS THIS? I told her to fax the referral to the ortho office and that I wanted to speak to an office manager, as my experience trying to get this referral has been COMPLETE HELL. She tells me that the office manager is not available and takes a message. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've left that message and I have yet to be contacted. Do I have your attention now?

I have a fairly stressful life, and Dr. Shindler suggested that I give it a go to help relieve stress. Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health. He is very knowledgeable and up to date on treatment of Rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia. I was quite ill when I was referred to Dr. Vallance by my primary care physician. Within the first visit, he knew what was wrong with me and began treatment. He is very caring man who gives you all the time you need. He has that "we are a team " approach to treatment and not only is very knowledgeable in medication but has a great way of suggesting integrated approaches. This man is very kind and patient and I feel extremely lucky to have such a wonderful doctor. His nurse practitioner, Chris is jut like him. She is knowledgeable and kind. I made an appointment to see his PA, since Dr. Tobin had no openings, while I was actually in the office on November 15th with a family member for her appointment. I informed them why I wanted to see the doctor and that I had had a negative covid test one week prior. They sent up an appointment for the following week on November 24th, and told me to bring the results of my negative covid test. The office called me two days before my appointment, confirmed my appointment and reminded me to bring my negative covid test results. All good and logical. Now mind you, when I set up the appointment, the staff knew of the date of my negative test and the date of my appointment and everything was fine. When I came to the office for my appointment, I was informed that the PA would no longer see me, due to a two week time frame between my negative test and my appointment. When I questioned the staff member why they are now saying this when they knew exactly my testing timeframe, they didn't give a good response except that covid was still an issue and that I could set up a virtual meeting at a later time in the day, but the PA would not see me in person, even though I was informed the PA was with another patient at that very moment. I have had both covid vaccines and they were aware of this. Now all this was happening as two other patients were entering and going to their appointments. I took a day off and scheduled this appointment to see the PA, and they didn't really seem to care. Are they going to pay me for my time as you have to do if you don't show up for an appointment? Does it matter to them that I made a commitment to see and of course pay the PA for their time? Do they really care about my physical and mental well being? Their actions today say no! Very disappointing.

Because of the hours, shorter wait times, and comfortability i have had here, i even switched dr shaw to my primary doctor! I could never get into see my actual doctor when i needed.. never ! It was always someone different who didn't know me... the couple of doctors here already know more about me and i can tell they care ..plus they actually listen to what you are saying about YOUR BODY. Just go if you have a problem, you wont regret it. The only downfall is having to fill out a form each time before being seen even after they know my entire family at this point and they have all our information but maybe thats just my pet peeve. it does seem like the receptionists have a high turnover rate and sometimes they don't exactly know what to do, but there is always someone there to help and figure whatever it is (typically insurance issues)..
