It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she's in such good hands whether it's for daycare or boarding. We recently started bringing our newer puppy Gus too, and he's just as obsessed. One of my favorite things is how they do smaller play groups. It's not chaotic, and both of our dogs have actually made little friends they get excited to see. It feels really intentional and thoughtful. I also appreciate that they build in rest time so the dogs aren't completely wiped or overstimulated. The little extras are such a fun touch too--lick mats, themed parties with photos (which I love), and all the add-ons that make it feel like they're getting spoiled in the best way. You can just tell the team truly loves the dogs and treats them like their own. It doesn't feel like a business, it feels like people who genuinely care. We also really love that they support Lifehouse Rescue, that means a lot to us. We're honestly going to miss Happie Hounds so much when we move to Arizona. I can't recommend them enough!

We booked our pup for an appointment. PPPS uses text to communicate with you and the communication is excellent. PPPS needed vaccine records and many additional details to make sure it was safe for all the other pups at their location. We dropped off Zoey and spoke with the groomer (Bree). Bree was very aware of how to properly groom an Aussie. We had a brief conversation about what we wanted and believed Zoey was in capable hands. When Zoey was done, we got a text to pick her up. I was greeted upon arrival and Zoey was led out to me right away. Zoey looked fantastic!!! Bree groomed her exactly the way we had discussed. Zoey looked even better than I had hoped. I gave Bree a $20.00 tip. When I brought Zoey home and my wife saw her, my wife loved the grooming. My wife's only complaint was that I should have given Bree a bigger tip. I will fix that the next time we bring Zoey in for a groom.

They helped me learn that my Collie (double-coat, long hair) had shave coat, which explained why her fur had become extremely wiry and nearly impossible to detangle. Not only did they explain what was happening, but they also educated me on how to care for her coat properly at home. After their hard work and deep conditioning, her hair is actually soft and brushable again -- something I genuinely didn't think was possible. Here's the wild part: when we first got our puppy years ago, she was shaved by our first groomer. We found a new groomer to work on her after that and fell in love, but they ended up closing shop. Since then she's been to at least a dozen different groomers. Some continued shaving her coat, which only made the shave coat damage worse. The only groomer who ever came close was in Indiana. While I was looking Dog Oasis up to leave this review, I saw the old site and address an realized... this is the original place we fell in love with!!! I had no idea they moved locations. Everything suddenly made sense! Their pricing is more than fair for the level of care and expertise they provide, and I would trust them 100% with my pups. They're also clearly doodle specialists -- I see people bringing their doodles in all the time. I truly cannot say enough good things about the team, the work, or the facility.
