I almost asked them to put the coleslaw on the side, but I entrusted chef JP to leave it on and was glad I did! Collard greens flavorful as well, and not overpowering as they sometimes can be. My husband ordered the 1/2 bbq chicken which was also delicious: tender, moist, fall off the bone with a perfect bbq sauce( not too sweet, no vinegar). Green beans were yummy, and he also had a side of coleslaw and a roll. Would have liked to try the Mac n cheese and baked beans, but will leave that to next time. Prices were reasonable as well. Owners JP and his wife Sherein were delightful and the kind of people you want to succeed.

I was not sure what to expect from the name, but they had a birria panini sandwich on special that day that sounded wonderful, so we each grabbed one. Beautfully done birria with a nice consume to dip in. Pressed perfectly to get a nice golden brown with just a small amount of char. The addition of onions and cilantro worked to bring some brightness to the sandwich. Acid in the cucumber salad to offset the richness of the birria. Felt a bit upscale in everything but presentation, but what can you do with styrofoam, right? And a decent sized sandwich and side for $15. Kudos.
