I contacted these people to deal with a mouse problem at my beach home. Contrary to other reviews the lady on the phone was helpful, respectful and a pleasure to deal with. The technician who came to the house appeared knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing as he went along. He came back in a week to collect the dead bodies! Why not a 5 star? I think the service is overpriced. $450 for the initial visit and an additional $50 to put some steel wool in a few cracks. he was at the house approximately 1 hour! read more

Very knowledgable and are able to provide non-pesticide solutions. I have a summer home in SK and was having issues with Mice and ants. When they cam out they explained the reason why I was having the problems and how I could help fix most of the issues without using chemicals. They did fix the issue and I would use them again. read more

Let me preface this by saying that working with the actual technicians was easy and professional. I had no problems with the actual service provided (flea bombing. However, I will say that the receptionist was very unpleasant and unprofessional. She was condescending and spoke down to, not only myself, but other members in the home, as well. I found her extremely rude and difficult to work with, but because we had such a good experience with the actual technician, we decided to give them another try for a recent mouse issue. That was our mistake. The woman in the office was again, so extremely rude and nasty. I couldn't hang up the phone fast enough. I will not be doing business with Narragansett Pest control again, solely because of this woman's attitude and poor demeanor. read more

We had those little sugar ants, and for $250.00, we had NPC come out to get rid of them. The original spraying seemed to work, but 5 weeks later, we had them back, which seem to me that they hadnt gotten the queen. When we called them, the woman who answered phone was not very nice, and said it had been 5 weeks, so we would have to pay another $250.00 for them to come out again. My husband asked about guarantee of their work, and she said she would talk to boss on Monday. When he spoke to her again, it was basically, so sad, too bad. We were very disappointed. Did learn the lesson to verify that a company will guarantee their work prior to paying out that kind of money. read more

I called this company following a recommendation, because I was having a big problem with mice. The technician was prompt and professional, set the bait stations, and surveyed for holes where the mice could be coming in, blocking a couple of possible sites. This initial visit, plus one follow-up visit, cost $300. A different technician came for the follow up 3 weeks later, and I handed him a bag with a dead mouse inside that I had caught myself in the kitchen with a snap trap. I had seen NO reduction in mouse signs over the 3 weeks. He set more stations and some traps. I asked about monthly service for a few months until things got under control, and they wanted pre-payment for several months or a year, rather than payment at each visit. I called the office 3 times before I could talk to someone. (I had left messages twice!) She said it would be another $300 up front to treat outside the house, plus the monthly treatment cost for inside. She never got back to me with a proposal or estimate. My first call was in early July. It's now mid-September and I'm still overrun with mice inside! As far as I can tell, it's been ineffective: I still - STILL! - have to clean mouse droppings out of my pantry, kitchen, closet, kitchen counters, and office every day, and catching mice in traps. It's disgusting, and I'm embarrassed. I'm very disappointed with the service and follow-through. I called a professional for help with a problem, paid $300, and got no noticeable results. read more

Beware of this company, they will not guarantee that any of their treatments will be successful. Instead, they will charge you an additional 250$ to come out to take care of problems that their treatment should have solved in the first place. I wish I read the reviews first. Molly M is absolutely right, nice technicians, but the receptionist is one of the worst people to deal with, constantly giving excuses and giving us time windows where no one ever shows up. Next year I will not be doing business with them again, I would rather go to a national pest control company than this local family business. I had to sign up to yelp just to leave my feedback for this company so others won't be disappointed like I have. read more

Do not use this company if you have raccoons in your ceiling. First of all, the going rate is $750. I thought this would cover the whole job. These people were unsuccessful after numerous attempts. When I saw them going into the ceiling space without gloves on, supposedly to remove the animals, I became suspicious, because I know that raccoons bite and scratch. They knew that the mother raccoon was small, yet used the wrong size one-way trap on the roof. The result: the mother continued to come in and out freely to feed the babies. The woman in the office was often rude. Finally the manager said that additional visits were going to cost $100 each. At that point I told them not to come anymore. I hired another company. In three visits they removed the mother raccoon and seven babies. read more

These guys helped save my son's outdoor wedding in LIttle Compton last summer. we are surrounded by ponds and the mosquito population can be brutal sometimes. they showed so much concern that his wedding would go off without a hitch....There were some mosquitos but nothing like what it could have been like....they even came back the day before to make sure we had no problems without me asking...now that's service! read more
