Just came back from looking at a certified 2015 GMC Terrain that was advertised on their website as well as few other 3rd parties. Ok, right off the bat, I was told that I needed to pay $1300 for the certification....even though it was advertised as certified. Once I called them out, they back pedaled. Then, the issue was my trade....who in the right state of mind accepts the first offer from a dealer?! I asked for a rounded up number, 300+ dollars and I got a run around. I walked out taking all my stuff outside to grab a smoke. When I came in, my trade in value miraculously lowered itself!!! What that was is what I call 'muscle flexing'.....basically, our business doesn't depend on you....we will show you. The whole time salesman was on the phone negotiating a deal with the manager who was next cubicle over. Not once he came out to assure me of a good deal.
Finally, when I was walking out I told the manager that it was wring of him to not approach him....his response was 'I was busy with other deals'. The showroom was empty. Second car I was purchasing from this dealer.....and this is what I got?!?! Hey, you still want to deal with these guys.....have fun. read more
