The products are eh, they smell nice but the smell fades and they go rancid before a year which is supposed to be the shelf life of the scrubs and butters even though none of the products have use by dates on them. Stick with products from your local farmers markets!!!!!!
I thought I had entered a decent workplace, boy was I wrong! I watched as 11 people rotated through in 8 months that incudes managers and assistant managers along with sales staff ( that should tell you something right there). The job itself isn't bad at all, it's the management and what they call "corporate". The owner and her puppets watch you like a hawk swooping in to grab it' prey. There are 8 cameras in the small store I worked in which is great for seeing where we should be monitoring better but they're watching YOU and your every move along with every single word that leaves your mouth. What matters to them is numbers, the dpt, kpi, upt, daily money goals and that's it. They send rude emails if you slide under the numbers they want, they post rude posts in the communication app about how the staff should be doing better and how unacceptable it is if there's a day or weekend that doesn't profit as they see fit. They will not hire men because they believe men can't sell skincare or that women wouldn't buy skincare from men. Maybe that's true but it's extremely sexist and discriminating along with being illegal. They also will not hire a person based on their looks. The manager "V" would actually hide in the back or go to the bathroom when they saw a person who had been inquiring about a job enter the store. This person was local and hoping to be hired, super nice but due to looks they were not considered for the jobs open, again with discrimination! Do not get me started on disabilities because the answer to that is going to be "No we don't do that!" from the district manager and the woman in HR, again with discrimination! This is a rude post from the owner just before Christmas time...
Deleverage .....turn this around.....
I saw some SERIOUS deleveraged stores yesterday, this has been going on since Saturday and this is UNACCEPTABLE.
Traffic may be down but we must engage each customer, do demo's, build baskets and do what we do best. Managers I suggest you have Team meetings weekly through Christmas and address any issues with your individual staff DAILY. Christmas sales declines can be a very slippery slope we want to stay off of. I'm reviewing closing reports NIGHTLY and looking in depth at each person's KPI's for the day.
Managers tag your Teams. Let's get it together here and do what we do best.
