Happy hour special is 1/2 price appetizers, when ordering told waitress that was why we were there. We selected wings - which are in the starters/appetizers section of the menu. When she brought the bill the wings were full price. She checked with the owner/manager and he told her to tell us "wings don't qualify for happy hour special." I told her we took exception to that because there were no exceptions listed, and to check with him again. She was too afraid to return, another waitress brought the bill back and whewas still not price-adjusted. So this one star review was well deserved. (Probably too generous.) PS - the wings weren't even very good. They just take already baked plain wings and slather them with sauce. PSS for Ralph - even our drinks weren't happy hour discounted until we asked, it doesn't matter whether you are deceptive or your staff is careless (or in this case both), the real fact is you offered a patron a one-star experience. You are right, I won't be back, my expectation is for a five star experience at every establishment I patronize, and I only offer a one star review when my experience is beyond the pale. Since I've only reviewed a few establishments in my lifetime, you now know yours is among the worst. We were unhappy with our experience, but still spent a lot of money in your restaurant last night. I loved this place. We needed a break from shopping and this place was the best option. They were soooo nice. The service was amazing. We started with apple goat cheese bruschetta which came out in a martini glass with little crostini. Totally not what I expected but so very yummy. There were 3 of us and we wanted to share a sandwich and a flatbread. They split them onto 3 plates and brought us 3 side salads in the kitchen for no extra charge. I have stayed for work many times at the Embassy Suites in Estero. Always struggled to find a great takeout restaurant. Thanks to my fellow Yelpers I discovered Naples Flatbread! Ordered the Drunken Shrimp Flatbread which was a nice light evening meal to enjoy with the free happy hour at the hotel. It was ready the moment I arrived from the short drive from the hotel. The flatbread had a nice flavor, although my kids did not enjoy the onions as much as I did. Look forward to trying other dishes on future visits. read more

Before I start, take my review with a grain of salt. The place is Naples Flatbread & Wine Bar and I ordered a cheeseburger. It's possible their other food is better. But as it stands, my cheeseburger was pretty mediocre. I guess it gets creativity points because the burger and cheese are wrapped up in a flatbread similar to a Crunchwrap Supreme at Taco Bell. The flatbread tastes and feels dusty, though, and doesn't have the best taste. The waffle fries that come with it were fine but felt a little soggy. There's a lot of variety on the menu, which seems like a gamble at this point. If you come here to eat, maybe stick with the thing they're advertising in their name. read more

I've had Philly cheese steak and this is far from it. They didn't even slice the sandwich in half. This is a generous 3 stars. Have been to this location for lunch a couple of times and really enjoyed it. Tonight we went for dinner. The restaurant was very busy hence my ratings generosity. In season, I've resigned myself to expect relative chaos wherever you go - these restaurants just can't seem to handle the influx of customers. All in, the food was good. We had eggrolls and a spinach/artichoke dip as appetizers. The eggrolls were tasty, but bore not the slightest resemblance to any eggroll I've ever eaten in the US, Taiwan or the ROC. Perhaps we should call them NFB Rolls. The spinach/artichoke number was more conventional but the "breadlike conveyance" (that edible food substance that moves the dip from the dip plate to your mouth) brought to mind slightly baked Pillsbury dough. Kinda slimy. We had a variety of main courses - Flat bread, GF Pizza, Panini's and the burger. Serviceable, not great, but the GF pizza was well received. The service was regrettable. Our waiter preferred to shout to the folks at the end of the table instead walking around to take an order. Appetizer plates and drink glasses were never cleared. Other requests were soon forgotten. This person was useless. Would have much preferred to order from an iPad instead of this knucklehead. He was zero value-add. Would I return. Yes for lunch, but never for dinner. read more

My review is really for their happy hour and only specific to this location: I don't live in this area, but visit very often. Whenever here this is my go-to spot for the Southwest Florida area. They have great priced and portioned drinks and what they call "bar bites," but are really fully sized meals. There salads and flat breads are my favorite.
