I ask for an empty box so the bottles don't clang in my cart, and so I can easily take them home, and EACH TIME they rudely give me a hard time. Today was no different. "The boxes are for paying customers only!" snapped the cashier. " You can go around the side of the building and see if you can find any there." he continued. I told him I was a regular customer. There was no apology. There never is. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back! I will take my business elsewhere, like Total wine. At least they are respectful and can crack a smile. I was a "woman on a mission" when I shopped at World Market in Naples a few days before Christmas…read more I was in search of the traditional English Christmas Crackers. (The kind with paper crowns, terrible jokes, and silly trinkets ... not edible crackers.) Last year none were to be found in the Estero/Bonita Springs area so this year we made a longer drive to Naples. It was worth it. The World Market at Coconut Point Mall in Estero has been closed for several years so the Naples location was my best option, other than Fort Myers. Even though the stock was a bit picked over, I was able to find an attractive set. A hit with our family on Christmas Day. I also picked up a few small gifts and wrapping supplies. This World Market is smaller than my local one in the San Francisco Bay area. But it was well laid out and staff were helpful. I have counted on World Market for 50 years, going back to when it was known as Cost Plus. Happy to find this one!

Coming from California this is always my first stop. They are light years ahead of most places when…read moreit comes to wine and offer THE BEST in town. If you wonder about "natural wine" you aren't alone. I think so many of us have realized the word "natural" in the food scene actually means nothing BUT when it comes to wine (not involved in the FDA) it's an entire different world. Many regular wine, according to many sources including https://redthumbwine.com/ingredients-in-wine-what-is-in-my-wine/ "behind that aesthetically pleasing label could be over 70 different additives or chemicals, and you'd have absolutely no idea. Velcorin, for one, is lethal in high doses yet still used despite alternative methods. Or possibly Glyphosate, which regularly finds its way into wine in trace amounts left over from conventional farming practices." The bottom line is US produced wine does not have any regulations and we have no idea what is in it. It's not just grapes and that's why we feel so horrible after. Ever since I made the switch to natural wine I feel much better after drinking. It's not so toxic and taxing on our bodies. Some people find it a little funky at first but give it a real try and you'll see that most reds are chillable and refreshing and whites are so yummy.
