Horrible customer service. For the last 2 yrs. I get an assorted case of wine at ABC every few weeks. It's been the same story each time. I ask for an empty box so the bottles don't clang in my cart, and so I can easily take them home, and EACH TIME they rudely give me a hard time. Today was no different. "The boxes are for paying customers only!" snapped the cashier. " You can go around the side of the building and see if you can find any there." he continued. I told him I was a regular customer. There was no apology. There never is. Today was the straw that broke the camel's back! I will take my business elsewhere, like Total wine. At least they are respectful and can crack a smile. Bald older man with glasses made inappropriate comments about my body, made me extremely uncomfortable. That behavior is unacceptable in customer service. I would never feel safe with him around employees as a boss. read more

I just went to this particular store to buy a case of wine because it's on sale what I found was nothing in stock, uneducated workers and lazy and rude and it's not the first time they would not go to the back to see if there was more in stock which it says online that there is some in stock just rude. it's all men and it seems like they don't like to help women read more

The Absolutely Worst Store. We are locals and order cases of wine frequently. One gentleman will always pull our cases when I call to request this. However, the cashier's are the most Unhelpful, Crabby, will not even leave their register to check for the cases which at times are right behind them. Today I was told the cases aren't here. And Yes. They were right there. Refuse to help in anyway. This has been going on for a few years with this store. We have put up with it but No More. We spend too much money in there to have this disrespectful service. The majority of the cashiers need to Retire or get Terminated. Awful Customer Service. And the Manager sees and hears the grumbling of customers but to no avail. This store needs to close and put a Total Wine in its location. read more

My only complaint is that I wish I had a store that was closer to me. Just the right size of store. Easy to park and the layout is easy to navigate. Prices are much better than the boutique liquor store near me. At least 20% less across the board. read more

Probably the Most rudest customer service person ever ! Walked In today around 530 to get some tequila. Asked the older gentleman( not really) if they carried a certain brand of mix. I placed an On line order for same day pickup and received an email confirmation. 24 hours later I called (after 3 tries before someone picked up) and questioned the status of my order. I had checked online and saw the order had not been filled. The male answering said "there's nothing I can do about it, lady." There are only 4 items so it was not a huge order. There are other places to shop with good service and polite staff. Another day has passed and still the order has not been processed. read more

I don't think very many people know that ABC sells cigars and that they always have a great special where if you buy 6 cigars you get 20% off the total. This has become my go to cigar store which makes it nice because they also happen to sell some very beer, wine and spirits. I have found that the staff is friendly and cheerful and always ready to help you pick a wine or suggest a nice whiskey. Today I bought six very nice cigars and they always have the usual named stogies plus several new ones for you to try. read more

This store is bright and well organized coolers in the back and a nice selection of Cigars in a walk in humidor Came in for some rare supplies for Bacon Mary, Bakon Vodka. This store didn't have it but the clerk was able to find it on the east trail ABC. Moscow mule is an old favorite from the 50's it consists of a shot of vodka, ice in a copper mug. lime juice Mixed with Ginger beer. Sounds great.. I know. but where can find a copper mug? so no one will know the difference but you and I. Cheers! read more

In Naples we have two liquor and wine superstores. ABC and Total Wine. ABC seems to me to be less upscale thant Total Wine. Not a bad thing because value is a good thing. Both sell cigars which is what I purchase at both stores. What I found is after all the discounts at ABC the price is about equal to Total Wine. They both carry the brand and size I smoke. Both have somewhat small walk in humidors while ABC keeps their machine made low line cigars just outside the humidor. When I go into a humidor like ABC I seem to be the go to person other customers will ask what to buy. Kind of makes me feel like a big deal again. :) read more

ABC is cool. The one by where I live, it was on the corner of Naples Blvd, closed down. Broke my heart. I could walk there from my apartment in an emergency situation. RIP. All locations seem to be great though. No judgement. The staff may as well greet you when you walk in the door with, "Ah... Looking to forget? What's your poison? Follow me!" Most of the employees seem like they take small bottles to the bathroom when they have to go. Very relatable. Fiance gets really upset with me because I typically leave with a few complimentary shot or pint glasses but we have no room in the cabinets. If someone offers me something for free, I'm taking it. After New Years is the best/worst. Large selection, friendly staff. I wouldn't recommend to my friends as they're mostly recovering alcoholics, but if you're feeling down and looking to drown some sorrows they'll find something for you. read more

HAPPY NEW YEAR It has been a long 2014, in fact it has felt like 365 days, so it's time to ring in the new year with some adult spirits and this is the place. Florida has weird alcohol laws when it comes to the sales of spirits. The building has to be a stand alone and not inside of the actual grocery store. You can not get spirits at the Trader Joes, Whole Foods, Publix or Walmart nearby. You can only buy beer & wine there. Those places have no spirit but ABC has plenty and we need some spirit to ring in 2015. I feel like it has been 20 years since I've stepped in here. I have been getting my Spirits at Costco but today I didn't feel like driving very far or waiting in a 5 mile long line to checkout. I was really surprised at all of the selections from alcohol to alcohol related supplies. This place reminded me of Binny's in Chicago because it had a little bit of everything you needed to party. One of my favorite things they had was a meat and cheese cooler at the front counter while checking out. It contained Boar's Head which is a quality brand. I almost grabbed the pre-cut sausage and cheese container which is perfect for a party or for snacking on the beach. Maybe next time I will. This place also carries everything you would need to get your new year festivities on tonight and into tomorrow. Giant red solo cups to fill up and have a Toby Keith kind of party...check. A shelf full of hot sauces and Bloody Mary mixes for the first morning of 2015...don't mind if I do! Snacks and chips ready to be crunched on...yes! Hey don't judge me because New Year resolutions don't start until the vacation is over. That's a new rule I just made up and I like it. After walking through the store like a kid at Disney, I needed to focus on my spirit. I zeroed in on rum considering I will be acting like a pirate and enjoying the new year on the beach. Arrrrr it's time to find me some rum. There are many delicious Rums to choose from even some that have been aged 25 years. If you've never had an aged rum you are missing out. That could be your 2015 resolution to try an aged rum. That seems like a great goal for the new year. I made my choice on a nice white rum to make beach drinks with and grabbed my selection. Check out was simple and fast. Our check out person was eating a Jimmy Johns sub which was kind of gross considering she touched our stuff with dirty sub fingers but today I'm looking the other way. I'm not letting you bring me down. Why? Because I've found my spirit and I'm going to the beach to ring in 2015. I have been a loyal customer at this location for years and was recently treated very rudely by one of the check-out clerks. She rang up the wrong price on my items and then complained that now she was going to have to walk over to the item and check the prices. I mentioned to the Manager on my way out that he had a rude clerk and he seemed very un-concerned and just said, "sorry." Even though I only live 1.5 miles from that store I will be driving much further to Total Wine from now on. read more

Although I rarely drink, this store is filled with knowledgeable employees and a very wide variety here and always in stock and very clean and uncluttered even having gift baskets, great cigar humidor and easy to find wines and more types of beer that I have known about in my 30-40+ years! Party place for purchase of beer, wine and spirits. I found a funny looking bottle of vodka mixed with creme de cacao. It looks like a tall, skinny, old-fashioned milk bottle, complete with a metal hinge over the top. The label reads ,' Adult Chocolate Milk." For $17 bucks, try that instead of the routine bottle of wine for your dinner host. You'll either make them laugh, or you won't be invited again. Risk it! read more
