This Publix is a little smaller than some other stores, but the selection is decent. I wish this store had a larger fresh produce selection, but I realize many of the Publix stores cater to the huge population of condo owners in the area, who generally have less than twenty items in their cart. Sometimes, while waiting in line at a Publix, customers behind me can get a bit impatient since I usually shop for the week or longer. This means meals, treats for the dogs and cats, plus plenty of water and cokes for the thirsty guys who do home repairs and improvements on a regular basis. Twenty items or less, fine, a full cart, you've been warned. Going to a grocery store isn't the most fun thing to do, still, Publix stores manage to make the experience as pleasant as possible by offering variety and having well stocked shelves. Parking isn't the best at this store, but it's doable. One thing that comes to mind, are the good subs at Publix. You're getting fresh bread, quality deli meats, cheeses and fresh veggies for your sub. The employees will make the sub to your specific preferences and these subs are not only a great value, but a healthy alternative to a fried lunch. This is a convenient store to shop, especially if you only need to run in for a few quick items. This Publix is located on two major streets, so very easy to find.

I always stop here to find the perfect bottle of wine or liquor for special meals and gifts. I'm a fan of Pinot Noir and Total Wine has a great selection of these wines from the coast. No one has better Pinot Noir than Oregon and Total Wine comes through with many ideas for the wine fridge. On this trip, I was also looking for a bottle of Marsala, which can be hard to find. The clerk was helpful and I found a suitable Marsala for cranberry sauce and Turkey Marsala later in the week. The store is packed with so many options, it's fun to browse the aisles to see what you might find. Clerks are very helpful and know their product! They have competitive pricing and you won't find a better selection. They have an amazing liquor selection and if you get lost, there is always a clerk to make suggestions. For beer fans, the store has many different types of beer. The holiday season is here and the Super Bowl is coming up soon. Total Wine is definitely the place to stock up.

I was a little disappointed with some of the produce, the Bok Choy was still good, although not as crisp as it should have been, Likewise for the salad section, although the tomatoes and oranges looked fresh. The seafood department has a varied selection and so does the meat department. The salmon I bought looked fresh and was priced well. One of the things I liked are the BOGO specials like Publix has, plus they have the Fresh Pet section and my dogs appreciate that. Service is good, and the lady who checked out my order was friendly and helpful. Winn-Dixie has a good selection of products and they are customer friendly.

I actually have a sore throat and was not interested in talking to anyone however to appease him I took my headphones off and responded so I do apologize for the very sensitive man that was at the register today at 5:31pm Monday, June 1 I hope he doesn't have to go to therapy or see a counselor for someone not responding to him promptly.

(The kind with paper crowns, terrible jokes, and silly trinkets ... not edible crackers.) Last year none were to be found in the Estero/Bonita Springs area so this year we made a longer drive to Naples. It was worth it. The World Market at Coconut Point Mall in Estero has been closed for several years so the Naples location was my best option, other than Fort Myers. Even though the stock was a bit picked over, I was able to find an attractive set. A hit with our family on Christmas Day. I also picked up a few small gifts and wrapping supplies. This World Market is smaller than my local one in the San Francisco Bay area. But it was well laid out and staff were helpful. I have counted on World Market for 50 years, going back to when it was known as Cost Plus. Happy to find this one!
