I've been to Napa many times and have always enjoyed the food & dining experience. With that being said, I was very disappointed with the last time I had dinner here. I had reservations for 6:45PM and didn't get seated until 7:30PM. I checked with the server after 15-20 minutes of waiting to find out they had given my table to a different couple which resulted in us waiting even longer to be seated. So right off the bat I was already a bit irritated. Upon being seated we ordered our wine and food pretty quickly. The wine came out in a timely manner but it took over 45 minutes for us to get our appetizers. During this time our waitress didn't check on us once. I had to flag down a different waitress to check on our food and shortly after that it was finally brought out. Then our main entree was brought out right after our appetizer. We were starving at that point so it was fine but the whole situation was just rather frustrating. All in all we were there for over 2 hours, most of the time spent waiting. Super disappointed in the service. With that being said, the food was all very good. I shared the wedge salad and baked French brie as an appetizer. The brie was good but is just a very small portion. The sesame orange glazed salmon is my favorite entree on the menu. The ginger & orange zest sauce on the salmon is so tasty and the salmon is cooked perfectly. The carrot cake on the dessert menu is also very good. Food is great but the service could use some work. read more

Food was delicious , just wish there was more salmon on the plate. Server was able to recommend a great red wine to pair with dinner and let me try a Pinot and a Cabernet to see what I preferred . I'm here for business but see myself visiting again before I leave read more

Say it with me gorgeous ambiance, oh my is this place so pretty. It is a wine paradise and has amazing decorations everywhere. We arrived on Father's Day Sunday with a reservation for six and were seated right away. The menu is pretty small but has such good choices, I split the baked Brie. The Brie and orange marmalade in a crisp, honey-drizzled phyllo shell - apricot, orange and cracked pepper preserve, Granny Smith apples, fresh strawberries. OH MY GOD! For my main meal, I got Short Rib Hash with crisp potatoes, onions, red and yellow peppers, short rib, fried eggs, hollandaise. I literally cannot tell you how good my food was. I cannot wait to take my friends here and try more of their yummy goodness read more

Had the twin filets. Very very good. Risotto was delicious. Service was excellent and we were seated in front of the fireplace. My wife enjoyed that on a cold January evening. read more

We had dinner here a few weeks ago and it was really good! The best parts were the bread and garlic butter and hummus trio..absolutely amazing! I got the chicken pesto spaghetti which was good but could have had more pesto flavor to it. My husband had the margarita pizza which he loved. The rest of our family had the pork chops, soup, and a cheese pasta dish I can't recall the name of but everyone was pleased and too full for desert. Service was on point and we will definitely be back! read more

This restaurant is decorated so nicely! It's quite large inside too. I dined here for Restaurant Week and ordered one of the salads, chicken saltimbocca, and carrot cake. The salad wasn't bad, but nothing special. I'm not a blue cheese fan, but it was actually good with the vinaigrette dressing! There was such a small amount anyway. The main entree was delicious. The chicken was moist, but firm on the outside. The au gratin potatoes were incredible! So cheesy. I wasn't very full after the entree, but my favorite part of the dinner was the carrot cake. It was a large slice! The icing was thick, but not too rich. The cake was moist and packed with flavor. It had some sort of dried fruit inside, which added a nice change of texture. Best slice of carrot cake I've had at a restaurant, bar none. I would recommend they get new cutlery. It was really hard to cut my chicken with a blunt knife. Our service was a bit slow, but our server was so nice and quirky. It really is a lovely place. I recommend! read more

This review is for the Westerville, OH Napa Kitchen + Bar located at 925 N. State Street, Westerville, OH 43082. I was tasked with finding a new restaurant for my husband and friends, so I made a reservation for five o'clock. I was told there was only a high-top table in the bar. When we got there, the place was virtually empty, so we asked for a booth. The décor is lovely. It feels like a high-end restaurant with wines, craft beers on tap, and craft cocktails. The server was efficient, and we didn't feel rushed. For drinks, it seems to be a place to have wine, because the beer choices were not good. There were three choices on tap, and one was described as an odd combination of peanut butter and vanilla. Don't exactly hold me to those two ingredients, but it sounded WEIRD. Our server brought a sample for my husband to taste, and NO! He then tried a blue bottled beer, and still NO! We ordered across the menu, our table taking a salad, a toasted flatbread, and two sandwiches. We were served a toasted baguette for starters. The baguette came with a side of herbed butter. However, the baguette was too salty. If you turned to look at its underside, you could see large salt crystals. It was inedible. The salad, char-grilled steak ($18), was a nice combination of Romaine lettuce, slivered red onions, sliced radish, roasted sweet corn, grape tomatoes, grilled NY Strip, cilantro-chive dressing, and potato straws. The toasted flatbread, pepperoni ($14) was too salty. It was inedible. The sandwich, blackened salmon plate ($15) was not blackened. The amount of fries was small, and they were too salty. The sandwich, two crab cakes ($16) were good, but the cabbage slaw wasn't prepared in a congruous way to go with the crab cakes. In other words, biting into a soft crab cake on a soft brioche bun seems jarring when you have to use a different part of your mouth to cut through the slaw. Also, the amount of fries was small, and they were too salty. When we asked to speak with the manager about the salty, salty, salty food, our server said we could speak to them about it. Hmm, anyway, we told her our observations, and she said, "Sorry." We were disappointed. Later, a manager came and apologized, but only offered to comp us with a dessert, which we declined, I mean who wants a "salted" caramel dessert? So, I don't know if the chef was having an off night, or a salt box exploded in the kitchen, but it seems we will not be back. read more

Had a reservation and got seated right away. Was approached and given waters by one server who introduced herself as our server, but then she must have switched because she never came back and a new server who did not introduce herself took over, making the encounter confusing and slightly awkward. Napa has become my in between class destination. I can have an awesome $6 truffle fry appetizer with an excellent bottle of wine. And OH JUST SO YOu KNOW!!!! TUESDAYS ARE HALF OFF A BOTTLE OF WINE!!! Chris and Devon behind the bar are extremely knowledgeable on wine and Rachel the sommelier is superb. The 3 of them will walk you through a selection to meet your taste bud needs. I've tried several menu items. My current favorite it the white truffle mushroom flatbread. But I've tried the mini burgers, white cheddar burger, calamari, fried mozzarella. So in short.....if you want good company, great food, fantastic companionship and a place to feel like you're hanging out with friend. Come join me for Tuesday night happy hour. Oh!!!! By the way!!! This was our first time visiting Napa Kitchen and Bar. The initial experience was ok not great. The ambiance of this restaurant was really warm, inviting, and they had a great selection of wine decor and wine labels. The restaurant nicely decorated to feel like home. The food was good not great. We ordered French onion which is highly recommended and it was prepared with lots of flavors and heated to perfection. We ordered the Salmon Salad which was pretty good and seasoned with the right amount of flavors. We also ordered the strawberry and pecan salad but the salad did not have any strawberries on it though which was slightly disappointing. The wait for the food took well over an hour. The service was super poor the day of our visit. The server forgot our drinks a couple of times and did not bother to ask if we needed anything else. We had to locate the server for our check. Overall service was very poor. The food was brought at different times and we had to wait on the other dishes to arrive. Overall, the ambiance was great, the food was good except for some slight issues with the timing of the food and also the issue with no strawberries on the salad. The service was poor based on our first time experience. This would be a good place to dine for brunch and lunch. Make sure to check out the menu prior to dining here. read more

My parents came in from out of town and brought me here for my birthday dinner. I decided to celebrate here because of the upscale atmosphere, as well the the comfortable seating (I hate the new trend towards crammed seating!), and reasonable prices on excellent food. We were not disappointed! Most of us had the flatbread pizzas which were very good. Mom ordered the strawberry chicken salad and loved it. The calamari was perfect (as in my original review). We had wine flights and found the pours generous and tasty. Nailed it, NAPA! Thanks for the great birthday experience! read more

Lovely experience! Harvey was our server and he was extremely attentive, funny, and helpful! Some of the best service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. He checked on us frequently, made sure we always had water, and helped us order delicious food. I wish I remembered to take photos of the food, but we loved everything we ordered. We made a reservation for 8 of us to celebrate some birthdays, and they gave us a cute tucked away table in a private nook. The aesthetic of the whole restaurant is great! Very carefully thought out. I love that they have vegetarian and non alcoholic options as well! Desserts were also great, the key lime pie was absolutely amazing. Would certainly come back, and definitely request Harvey! He was hilarious and made the experience even better! read more

we love Napa in person, however beware when ordering for pickup. we have ordered for carry out twice now and both times our order has been messed up. the first time, we ordered the twin filets and we received braised short rib. we called and they reimbursed us for our meal, however pretty disappointing to not get the meal you pay for, especially when it's the most expensive on the menu. we ordered tonight for pickup for redemption, just sticking with the burgers and sliders. my husband did not receive french fries with his burger (even though the menu states that they are included.) on top of that, he used the comp card that we received from them, they said it had no money on it, and then charged the amount to the card. this eventually got removed but this is getting ridiculous. probably not going back anytime soon. also, the sliders were burnt! definitely not worth the price read more

I don't feel like Napa fully deserved a 4 star rating but they definitely are better than a 3. It's located in a little strip mall next to a senior home and UDF. There's ample parking in the parking lot. The inside is gorgeous, it's warm, inviting, and, sophisticated. You'll find wine displays and lots of wooden accents. The appetizers and drinks we ordered were fantastic; calamari fried to perfection, the crab cakes were good a little too soft in texture for my liking but good, the Brie appetizers was okay, idk it just fell a little flat for me. I'm not much of a wine person so we ordered a few cocktails which were all delicious. Now the reason for the not 5 star review, the entrees. I ordered the short rib with potatoes, hubby got the fried rice with a side of chicken and both kids ordered the twin filets. Other than my husbands rice everything was just....fine.. no really amazing flavors just kind of bland and covered in some brown sauce. The fried rice was not good, like not even a little, and the unseasoned side of chicken didn't help. For dessert we ordered cheesecake and the chocolate pot? Cheesecake was good, but the chocolate was not our pot of tea. Service was good, the restaurant was not busy so it didn't take too long to get our food and drinks. Would I go back? Maybe, if someone else is paying read more

Really nice atmosphere inside the restaurant. I love the wine decorations and unique style chairs/tables. The food itself was good, but the pasta was not well seasoned. Had a great experience dining here with my partner. Didn't know this place was here. Found it based on a Yelp search for nearby restaurants. Locally owned. Locally sourced wherever possible. Stopped in for an early dinner. While there were folks over in the bar area, we ate in their separate dining room. Excellent ambience that is relaxing and takes you away from everyday life. Our waitress was fun, friendly, attentive and entertaining. I chose their wedge salad and pan roasted pork chop dinner. The wedge salad was not your typical iceberg lettuce head wedge. It was a romaine lettuce sliced in half and topped with the typical blue cheese dressing, bacon crumbles, grape tomatoes and onion. There was quite a bit of onion on this salad. While the salad looks different from a traditional wedge, it tasted very similar to a traditional wedge salad. The pork chop dinner comes with roasted brussels sprouts. Loved 'em! The plate also had a nice rice pilaf with caramelized carmelized onions, orange zest, dried cherries and fennel . It had a wonderful sweet / savory taste to it. The pork chop itself had a sherry peppercorn cream sauce and was baked to just the right tenderness. The portion size was just right; not too huge and not too small. The pork chop dinner plate was $26 and their romaine wedge salad was $11. Looking for wine? They have a good selection of different wines. Wines are from around the world, not just California. I had a glass of the Malbec from La Espera in Argentina, one of my favorite reds. Definitely need to return here again as I saw many other items on their menu that looked intriguing. read more

A while back, I came to NAPA for restaurant week with my father and didn't quite realize how nice of a place it was until I walked in with my t-shirt. Nevertheless, we were promptly seated for our reservation and our server quickly came and asked what we wanted to drink. I didn't get anything drinks but it seemed like they have a huge selection with walls of wine. To start, I got the Baked French Brie and omg it was so delicious. The phyllo shell was flaky and encased the brie which was warm and amazing. The fruits and preserves on the side were refreshing and complemented the brie nicely. For the entree I got the Steak Frites which honestly I didn't care too much for. The chimichurri and fries were good, but the steak was a little tough and the brussel sprouts were average. For dessert I got the Key Lime Pie which I very much enjoyed. It tasted of fresh lime and the slice of lime on top made it even better. This place is definitely one of those "splurge once in a while" types, with prices being on the higher end. I wouldn't come regularly, but I'd definitely be willing to go again to celebrate some special occasion. The space is really beautifully decorated and you could get some nice pictures in there.... I was in search of a quaint place to unwind from a long work week for lunch as we were going to be in the area. What immediately caught my eye was the baked brie on the menu, in addition to the large wine selection. Upon our arrival, I was pleasantly pleased with my selection. When we walked into Napa Kitchen and Bar there was no longer a feel of being in Ohio. It was warm and cozy, yet a feeling of California dining. The large dining room is adequately spaced out and there is a fireplace separating the nice sized bar from the dining room. The chairs were comfortable and a feeling of being eclecticness at each table. We were off to a slow start with service as there were only two servers, one of which was the bartender, as well. The manager, Adrian quickly remedied the situation and waited on us. The Baked Brie - Amazing The Burger and Flatbread - Amazing as was the French Onion Soup. We did not have an empty water glass or an iced tea glass. There are small carafes filled for refills on the table. Adrian made our experience at Napa Kitchen and Bar exceptional! He is very personable and social. And the Cheese Cake was excellent! read more

While the food is ok, you have to check your take out order. My last three orders were incomplete. Attention to detail is not their strong spot. I'm fed up with them and will not order on line from this restaurant again. The menu really hasn't changed in 8 years so if you want variety go somewhere else. The chicken is dry and tasteless no matter what plate you order. Salmon is ok. read more

NAPA is a casual restaurant and wine bar. It looks kind of fancy but it's casual. The main things they seem to push are cocktails and wine. It also has some food. There's a lot of small appetizers and tapas. I had a gin and tonic. It's $5 for well liquor at happy hour. This was a pretty good pour. It has many good drinks. The favorite of course seems to be wine. It's funny. The restaurant seems to have bottles of wine all over the place, on all walls. It also has some food. These are often simple items that are shareable. I had the hummus combo. It' $6 at happy hour. There was garlic hummus, roasted red pepper hummus, and olive tapenade. The drinks are real good. Food is simple and has some happy hour specials. The attraction is of course the tons of wine. read more

This modern Italian restaurant is definitely a cute date spot with a farmhouse chic atmosphere. The staff is always awesome and the food is great. My one complaint would be, for an Italian restaurant the wine selection is just okay. If I can give any restaurant goers one piece of advice- DONT SKIP OUT ON THE FONDUE TRIO. This appetizer is truly out of this world fabulous (sorry no picture because we ate it too fast!). Their French onion soup is also really delicious. I had the pesto chicken pizza and the crust was awesome, but wished the rest of the pizza packed a little more flavor. My fiancé had the oven fired penne and it was very tasty. On 04/26/2021 you wrote Usually a great experience. A few of there servers are among the best out there. The bar tender and manager were extremely rude! On our way to the table the excellent server needed a moment to clear the table. We stood by the bar while he was doing this. Next to the two others joining us; Face apparel in place. He barked "can't have you standing at the bar" (did not want to. table was not ready) seconds later the manager yelled "you two need to sit here!" Sort of in the corner 3-4 feet away. I was happy I did not respond as poorly as they did. I will be going there much less frequently; if at all. Our time and money may be better spent at other establishments. read more

It was ok. I would go back but for cocktails and apps only. My penne pasta was really disappointing, overcooked, lacked high quality ingredients, mostly drowning in cheese. The service was also slow and it wasn't crowded so I don't know why the server wasn't more attentive. The cocktails were great and the wine selection was nice. This is my first time writing a yelp review because we did not like this at all. We came for restaurant week and they said it was a new menu. We must have gotten the wrong stuff. The risotto was over cooked and tasted off. Like artificial lemon and Trader Joe's Siracusa BBQ mixed together. The salmon was good and the bread and butter were good. We got the bread pudding with coffee ice-cream and the ice cream came out melted. It was disappointing. The service was also pretty slow. It was restaurant week so more busy than normal. It took 2 hours. We were waiting about 20-40 mins between everything and then the food came out cold. Our server was great, but there was something happening with the kitchen. I was very excited to check out NAPA, considering it was the first time I went there!! Although, I will not be back unless I need to be! My friend and myself made a reservation for 6:45 PM on a Tuesday night. The hostess was sitting many people that just walked in before us. We asked multiple times what was happening with our table. Her excuse was, "we forget and accidentally sat your table to someone else." 30 minutes later, we finally were sat at our table with little to no attention when EVERY other table around us was getting the attention they deserve, it was hurtful, thinking we were younger, this was definitely the reason. We were there during restaurant week, so the menu is shorter and simpler. We asked for a wedge salad and baked Brie. 45 minutes later, after asking for our appetizer, they came out right away with an 'apology' that did not seem real at all, considering the same waitress was checking on every other table in the same room, bringing them food multiple times, getting their checks and ignoring us. At this point, it ruined our dinner, we were upset. We both asked for the orange sesame glazed salmon, which we both loved. We ended with the carrot cake and were one of the last few out of there because of the service we got and had to chow down our food, since it was after 9:00 PM. May I remind you, our reservation was at 6:45. We were ready to order right away and the waitress never had to wait on us, so the wait time was unbelievable. The sad part is the food was amazing, I loved it. It was all so fresh and hit my healthy protein goals for a local spot, right down the street from my home. First impressions are everything though. I wish them all the best. read more

Wonderful ambiance and great food -- I was really wowed by this place when we went with family a few weeks ago for Sunday brunch while I was visiting Columbus, Ohio. The dining room is so gorgeously and thoroughly decorated down to every rustic looking detail that you really feel like you're in a charming winery restaurant in Napa Valley's wine country. We made a reservation, and it was so nice that they even gave us the semi private room for our group of 6. The complimentary bread rolls to start were insanely delicious. I'm so glad they gave us a refill when we asked. Service was outstanding and when we encountered bumps, they fixed them right away. The best thing we ate was the fondue trio (made with cheese and wine) which came with naan bread and French bread pieces to dip in the fondue. They were: brie and chablis, emmenthaler and sauvignon blanc, and New York cheddar with port. Why don't more restaurants do this? It was bliss. I wanted a healthy breakfast entree so ordered a frittata-like dish, and it was too plain for my taste. My family members ordered more savory dishes and were pleased with them. If I lived in the area, I would totally come here regularly. read more

Napa is a chain restaurant, but it doesn't feel like one, and the Muirfield location is full of cozy charm. Ask for a table by the fireplace or the little room for a small group. Casual French decor, gourmet dishes, wine flights, and a pleasant evening await. The only things I didn't like were the hostess propping the door open on a chilly day and the level of noise, given the pretty stone and wood surfaces (no icky carpet to deaden the sound). Try the Juliet pizza with pears or the braised short ribs. The salads are excellent, and so is the bread. The cheesecake comes from Katzinger's next door, arguably the best cheesecake in Columbus. All in all a nice place for a romantic dinner or a get together with friends. read more

My experience at Napa was incredible! The service was great, the food was absolutely amazing, and the ambiance made the whole thing come together. The decor was mostly made of wood and had a rustic look to it while also keeping the classy ambiance. I loved how the chairs were all different, it gave the restaurant a unique look. They also have beautiful lighting and art hanging from the ceiling. Perfect for a date night or special occasion. I visited Napa during their restaurant week, and for $30 they had great options! The portions were a good size and had me full without even finishing my main entree. For the appetizer I ordered the baked french brie which was sweet and cheesy and when combined with the fruit and bread evened out to taste just right! The beef short ribs and risotto were my absolute favorite! The beef fell apart and I barely needed to use my knife and the carrots and mushroom risotto paired well to compliment the beef. The sauce was also wonderful! Lastly the dessert I ordered was the triple chocolate pot de crème, it was extremely rich dark chocolate which I loved and balanced by the tart strawberries. Overall my experience there was great and I highly recommend this restaurant! read more

Received a referral to try this place out, so gave it a try. The food was very good, service fast, but environment was a little confusing. Part of the restaurant was like a big dining hall and the other half (bar) was like Crackle Barrel meets a Golf Course 19th Hole. Not bad by any means but definitely different for a strip mall location. I would recommend requesting the bar area. They have happy hour, but nothing worth driving too. Our waiter Harvey was friendly and hustling all night. Food was simple, hot and cooked nicely.
