Subtle work suggestions printed on reverse of invoice listed according to severity or need to replace without any pressure. -Dealer, who always serviced my Acura TLX always gave a verbal estimate of what needed to be done next delivered with a print out of red stop signs. This was delivered in an ominous tone & they were unwilling to prioritize all of the work needing to be done. "You might as well do it while you're here...we're pretty booked because of (choose any reason)" Lots of doom & gloom. Similar service last month at the dealer's took 1.5+ hours... I was looking to establish a relationship with a garage that was close by, trustworthy, pleasant to deal with and who did good work. Bye, bye Acura dealer.

Jerrell was kind enough to help me that same day a few hours later with no questions asked. I had never stepped foot in their establishment prior. He put my car on the lift to look for a device, he was not able to find anything but told me to come back anytime if I had any additional information. This type of kindness really went a long way for me. I won't hesitate to bring my car there for service because of the way he went out of his way for me and didn't have to. He didn't charge me a dime! I highly recommend Palumbo's if you are looking for a business that genuinely cares. Can't say enough great things about them!

Apparently someone had traded in a MT CTS-V fully loaded with Recaro seats for that insane SRT Jeep. I inquired about it and they gave me the opportunity to put down a deposit. They said the car was flawless and that if anything was wrong with it, I would get a full refund. Well they were 100% right about the condition of the car, it was nice. The sales person Keith was a cool guy and everything they did was upfront and honest. The finance manager was also very helpful and did not push a lot of garbage add ons. They did everything right and I ended up saving 25k over a new CTS-V with these options. The car only had 8900 miles on it. They even gave me a full tank of gas which is sorely needed because this car goes through that fast! Never had such a smooth transaction at a car dealer, highly recommended.

Outstanding, Honest Service!…read more I can't say enough good things about A-1 Complete Auto Care in Guilford! I recently brought my car to Town Fair Tire in Wallingford for a slow leak in my front passenger side tire. They told me there had been a plug that came out and the tire couldn't be repaired. Not only had I never had a plug in that tire, but they also insisted I needed a brand new tire--and even suggested replacing all four, despite my car only having 26,000 miles. Wanting a second opinion, I brought my car to A-1 Complete Auto Care. They quickly identified the real issue: a nail in the tire. They confirmed there had been no previous plug and were able to patch the leak with no problem. Their honesty, professionalism, and straightforward service completely blew me away. Instead of trying to upsell me on tires I didn't need, they provided a simple, effective, and affordable fix. I couldn't be more grateful--and A-1 has absolutely earned my trust and future business! Highly recommend to anyone looking for reliable, no-nonsense auto care.

My wife's car, 2006 VW Jetta TDI was having an issue with the car going into limp mode at random times especially on the highways. It was beyond frustrating because the check engine light would go on with a generic code which made it hard to pin-point the exact cause of the issue. Tom took my car in and drove it for couple of days to troubleshoot the problem, and he did find the problem. It was a broken waste gate actuator that'd fail to open intermittently especially when the engine was under heavy load. After replacing the actuator the problem went away.. thanks to Tom. Here's the deal, I took the car to several mechanics prior to Euro Specialists, and none of them could figure out the problem.
