Honest too, I read on some of the LC blogs about adding back a Catalytic converter to help with the exhaust/gas smell I was getting sometimes. Said to do the new exhaust and if it still there he can easily add it in. Turned out the smell was a leak in the old exhaust. Saved me a couple hundred dollars! Highly recommend!

I asked if they could find me a better deal, the rep., Dan, shopped around & saved us a couple hundred dollars on parts, very much appreciated. Typically, I've had very good interactions at this store, and the staff are usually helpful. I'm…read morenot going to use names or titles, but I feel it's important to document a poor experience I had. This past Sunday, my three-year-old son and I went to return an unused car battery that we had originally paid for in cash. The clerk initially said they didn't have enough cash to process the refund and suggested coming back another day. I offered alternatives, including using my debit card, and was told there was enough cash in the store but that it had to come from one register, which is why they said the refund couldn't be processed. I also offered to drive to another nearby store within reason if that would help, but was told that was not an option either. When I asked to speak to a higher-level person, that individual's response was, and I quote, "Just give him the money and get him the F#%$ out of my store!" This was said in front of my child and another parent with a young child waiting in line. The refund was then processed in less than a minute. About 30 minutes later, I called the store to follow up calmly and express my disappointment. I was told I could be put on hold until the manager was available. I waited a day to see if anyone would reach out before posting this, but did not hear back. The use of harsh profanity by management in front of young children crossed a line and is completely inappropriate in a customer-facing retail environment. Otherwise, this is a store I regularly visit without issue.

Mad Hatter is under new ownership, and it's even better than the great place it was before…read more It's obvious that new owner, Brandon Leblanc cares about his business: he's close by at the front desk to hear what his customers are saying; he personally responds; and he couldn't be more attentive and responsive to a need. I had a problem with my Volvo hatchback. It wouldn't close. That also means it wouldn't lock. With all of the car theft in our area, I felt vulnerable. The parking lot was full. The place was obviously busy. But, Brandon immediately walked me out to the parking space where my Volvo sat, examined the problem, popped the hinge thingy back in place, closed my hatch, and smiled like I had done him the favor. Well, Brandon, here is my repayment for your immediate and amazing help. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. We will continue to patronize your awesome auto repair shop and emissions certificate center. You rock! Blessings for your success. I have no doubt you will it.

On top of this, when I asked him why he was vaping he to my face lied and said he wasn't. Totally dishonesty here. They also kept pushing back when it would be ready, and pushed it back 5 times. I don't mind allowing a mechanic to take days to fix an issue but be honest that it will take days and not giving multiple promises. The mechanics were so nice, it seems like Bobby is the root cause of the issues we experienced.
