This woman doesn't even deserve one star. You read all these reviews above of her patients chart being left on her desk, and she will call back later with results to read. They all say she never returns the phone calls, well thats because she never reads them. Its a lie!!!!! I had a placental abruption and she never even looked at my ultrasound. I walked around for months internally bleeding and begging her to help me or I was going to die. I was always speaking with the receptionist. The actual doctor would never call me back. You know what she did? She prescribed me narcotics as her choice of getting me to shut up.First off you don't give hydrocodone to a pregnant woman. I called her nurses after the 9th time of going to the triage at Baptist, and her telling them to send me home. I told them to transfer my medical records because I was getting a 2nd opinion. She finally called me back and her exact words " I looked back at your first ultrasound picture and you have a placental abruption, so you need to be admitted into high risk today." Really????!!!! You didn't tell me that 4 months ago. You didn't find that or look for that in my chart when you've been contacted 9x by the hospital !!! Because of her my son was born a preemie, and her wanting you to think she's a Saint because she has fancy water bottle with her pictures on them out in the office, he died. Yes, thats where your money goes. Its her decorating her office and having all the best stuff for her family that she will brag about in the 2 minutes you get to talk to her. Oh, and don't let her full you with the I take Tenn Care bull either. Thats when you get treated the worst. I was kicked out of high risk for having it because it didn't "pay" for it. When my lawyer paid her the 90 dollar fee to get my sons medical records guess what i didn't receive??? yes, you guessed it, the records! Oh and lets not forget the other mom who actually contacted me yesterday telling me her baby just died from the exact same thing happened!!!! Same age, same insurance, same negligence, given narcotics while pregnant, both babies in the same NIQU, and same doctors. Do you find this odd???? Yes, i'm a mad mother and I will get her license if its the last thing I do in life. DO NOT GO TO HER IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR BABY!!!!!!! read more

WORST BEDSIDE MANNER I HAVE EVER BEEN SUBJECTED TO!!!! Its my first pregnancy and i'm rightfully nervous. So I guess I expected her to be a bit more sincere or maybe just polite in general, no such luck. Not only has she never said "Hello" or "Goodbye" she has treated me and my partner like cattle. What I mean is she views us as means for profit, instead of human beings . Most of the time I have to fight for eye contact, and when she tested to see if I was dialated, at four months, there was NO warning. Each visit makes me feel like a mule going through customs the way she treats me. I understand there's necessary poking and proding that comes with being pregnant, but there were times I was in obvious discomfort and she never acknowledged it. But what REALLY set me over the edge, the reason I got a new doctor was after I found out what she did to my sister and youngest niece. She got my sisters due date wrong and when she started having contractions doctor paschall induced her, early. That's not even the worst part, to test and see if her epidural was working she repeatedly stabbed my sister in the legs and feet with a surgical scalpel!!!! IRRESPONSIBLE AND DANGEROUS. THATS not even the worst part. My neice was born six weeks early at five pounds and had to be in an incubator for over a week. Also IRRESPONSIBLE AND DANGEROUS. Doctor paschalls reaction to this while she was telling my sister the news? Carefree shrug of her shoulders accompanied with "We all thought she was due (on this date)." Oh My!!! What wonderful things can't I say about Dr. Paschal. She is what all Dr.'s should be, living out her calling in life by caring for woman in body, mind and soul. She truly cares about all of the women she sees. I help out single mom's and have for several years. When I was helping out a Katrina Survivor that was pregnant, Dr. Paschal was amazing with her and gave her the best care she had ever received. She has cared for other mom's that I have helped as well, regardless of who they are, where they are from, how much money that have or don't have, all woman are treated with the same dignity and respect. I now take my daughter to her who has had some problems with cysts and her cycles and Dr. Paschal has made my daughter's first GYN experience a very positive one and she really trusts Dr. Paschal. I would never go anywhere else and would recommend Dr. Paschal to anyone that will listen. She is so very good at the practice of medicine but more importantly she is good at the art of taking care of the whole person and meeting the needs of each of her patients no matter what. There need to be more Dr.'s and professionals like her out there that give their heart and soul to what they do. And her staff, oh my goodness they are absolutely AMAZING!!!! Dr. Paschall has been my OB GYN since moving to Nashville 6 years ago. I love her and would definitely recommend her to any of my friends or family. I miscarried my first baby, and she was with me every step of the way when I got pregnant with my second. Since I had miscarried my first, she took extra care to watch my next pregnancy to make sure nothing went wrong (that was medically preventable). She is compassionate and made me aware of all of my options for delivery. I was dilated on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving when I went in for my appointment and she was very adamant about making sure to call her with any questions or concerns if I felt like labor was close on Thanksgiving Day! I had a beautiful birth experience with my son and a very quick recovery time. She is an amazing doctor - I hate seeing any negative review. Her staff is also great. I have known Dr. Paschal for many years socially and professionally. She is as personable as she is knowledgeable and a doctor that I have seen as my OB/GYN during my childbearing years as well as after. She has treated me with respect and I feel that her care is excellent. I appreciate her willingness to discuss any options presented and I appreciate her interest and research in new and upcoming treatments for women's needs. Obstetricians, by nature, will be called out to deliver babies at any hour, so a patient waiting in the office shouldn't be surprised or put off if the doctor is called out or running a bit late because of a impending birth. Pretty sure the previous poster has never step foot in Naomi Paschall's office, if she had there is no way all of that would have happened. I have been seeing Naomi for 16 months now, she had delivered my cousins baby girl and I thought I would give her a shot. She was incredible from the moment I walked in the door. I told her my concerns and she listened, then told me the plan. She attacked my issues like a BULL! 16 months later she has changed my life forever. She is very attentive, remembers everything, tells you exactly what she is going to do, how, and how the meds will work. I have seen her every month for 16 months due to my medicines and such. She did my surgery in June and it was done remarkably well and she was great about the whole thing. I cannot praise this woman enough. Awesome doctor and genuine person! There are very few doctors out there that actually treat each client and put themselves in your shoes. She is one of them! Doctors right now are seeing as many people as possible in order to keep their heads above water. Healthcare has become a mess and doctors have become less personal. She has kept her focus on the customer unlike many others. She may have had a mishap with poor customer service during a week or so time span, but she is doing what she can to make it right with those affected. She has replaced some staff and i can assure you it has made a huge difference in the overall experience. Businesses can have challenges just like Individuals do...they have gone out of their way to check my insurance and get me in for my appt. I simply can't understand the poor reviews that she's gotten. She's the kindest and most attentive doctor I've ever met. Her staff is really quite kind- always complementary and spreading a feeling of well-being, the waiting room is always clean and beautiful, and the facilities are always clean and beautiful. The wait time is around 20-30 minutes because she's the only doctor and sees about four patients at a time. However, when she walks in the room she seems quite focused on you. She goes out of her way to talk to you about what your concerns are and what's going on with you personally, and has definitely gone out of her way to help me more than once (both with peace of mind and with getting me discounts on my medications. All in all, she and her staff are all amazing and I personally wouldn't consider going anywhere else. read more

Dr. Paschall has a beautiful office and the staff welcomed me right away. I was new to the area and needed to get in with a gynecologist but since I was from out of town wasn't sure who to go to. A friend in the medical industry recommended her and I was able to get an appointment within a reasonable amount of time. I didn't have a long wait and when the doctor came in she gracious and took a lot of time with me to hear my history and what I was hoping to achieve by seeing her. She was very patient and made me feel like I was the only one there not like she had to rush me out to get to her next patient. The doctor talked to me about many different options to hormones but also informed me about hormones both negative and positive. She was highly recommended and I can see why. read more

Dr.Paschall and her staff went above and beyond to take care of me. When I was told that I could not get pregnant, Dr.Paschall refused to give up...she cares deeply for her patients...she sat patiently with me while I cried in her office more times than I'd like to admit!! My husband and I are now expecting our first child, and I am going into my third trimester!! Dr.Paschall has been amazing, she has been completely thorough in explaining every possible birth plan to me and her staff has always made me feel welcome :) Also, her office feels like a spa instead of a Dr's office...which is completely awesome...I wish all doctors would do that, it somehow makes it so much less stressful! read more

Best OB I've ever had. Professional, yet down to earth. I, along with my two sisters, have been seeing her for three years. She delivered my daughter in April at Williamson Medical. This was my first pregnancy, but a great experience. A few of my other friends were also pregnant at the same time & the more I heard them talk, the more I was impressed with Dr.Paschall. I actually seen her EVERY time, not her nurse. I also had three ultrasounds in my first trimester just to make sure everything looked great. Dr.Paschall is a great ob/gyn!! My 20 year old and 19 year old daughter are patients of hers. Dr.Paschall delivered my grandson on 5-19-2009 and from the first time she saw my daughter she was great. She explained everything and with every exam she let my daughter know what she was doing. I'm not sure why there are reviews on here about Dr.Paschall that are negative but every female I know I refer to her and they all love her and switched there ob/gyn to Dr.Paschall. Dr.Paschall doesn't do anything to you that you don't want done. She is the best!! I'm not sure if the other reviewers are talking about the same doctor. I have found the staff in Dr. Paschall's office to be very professional and very friendly. Dr. Paschall actually listens when I talk to her, understands my concerns and then we discuss how to fix whatever is going on. I think she's fantastic. She stays up to date on the latest medical findings and never makes you feel like you're asking stupid questions. I've never had to wait more than 5 or 10 minutes (on a really busy day) to get back to the exam rooms. Since both reviewers are men, maybe they just didn't understand what an ob/gyn does? read more

i/m writing this response to Patricia M's review regarding Dr. Paschall's office. we strive to our best and make your experience here a pleasant one. As with most doctor's offices, we do require a copy of your photo id and front/ back of insurance card so we can make copies of it to verify your coverage with our billing department. The last thing we want is for you to be seen and possibly get a big bill for services provided by the doctor or laboratory. It's the patient's responsibility to have their insurance information when you come to the doctor. Especially if they haven't been in in a while. read more

Best Doctor I've ever had. I've been seeing her for 10 years. She is very attentive and genuine. I was a high risk patient while pregnant that needed extra care and she provided it above and beyond what I expected. Despite being high risk, I had a smooth pregnancy and delivery thanks to Dr. Paschall. Excellent bedside manner and staff is very is great. Unfortunately many of the subcontracted venders ie labs and radiology are out of my control and dictated by the insurance company; I wish you had call me directly.
