This practice has let me down more than once, when I went through a miscarriage in January, I wasn't even allowed to see the doctor, despite it having been made very clear I was a high-risk patient for a pregnancy. I'm absolutely astonished by the treatment I've received by this practice. I work in a medical office, so I am well-versed on how it works. Would never set foot in this place again.

New patients start out with their WHNPs rather than with an MD, which makes total sense to me. There are detailed bios and availability calendars online for all of their providers. If you've never been to this office before, parking can be a bit tricky to figure out. There's a garage for patients off of 20th Ave., and the easiest way to find the entrance is to turn right on State St. and then left into the garage. After parking, you'll want to take the elevator to the second floor walkway over to the medical building, and then follow the signs in there to another elevator and take that up to the fifth floor. It sounds more complicated than it is, and it's easy to remember after you do it once. The office waiting room is beautiful, with lots of natural light, plenty of seating, and a gorgeous view of the Nashville skyline. There were dozens of women waiting for appointments, but the check-in process is all done online through a QR code, making it super quick and easy. Their team is efficient - and it makes sense why they can see so many women in one day! I saw Elizabeth Napier (Lizzie) and have nothing but wonderful things to say about my appointment. To any women who are putting off their well women exam because they don't know where to go ... this is the place!

I just love Dr. Montville and so does everyone else! I wish everyone could deliver a baby as well as she does. She is just a cut above the rest. Speaking of cut above the rest- wow, can that doctor do an AMAZING C-section. You can't even tell you've had surgery because her incisions are so small and perfect! She is just awesome. If I had to have a c-section, she's who I'd want to do my surgery! And she's done within a blink of an eye . I would nominate Dr. Montville for the Nobel Peace Prize for sure. She's just that great! If I could give her 638228 stars out of 5 I totally would!!

Finally, I just called Women's Group of Franklin and made an appointment with whoever they had available. Lucky for me, it was Dr. Montville. Dr. Montville is relatively new to the practice, so her schedule is easier to get on, but I imagine it will be filling up fast. She's great. She didn't give me grief about my historically laidback approach to preventative healthcare, she addressed my questions, and kept me informed on what I need to know. The exam was quick, but it didn't feel rushed. Dr. Montville is kind, actively listens to you, and brings a comforting personality to an awkward situation. And since I tend to joke a lot, it was very important and comforting to me that she joked back. I highly recommend Dr. Montville to anyone looking for an OB-GYN. She's awesome.

I was freelancing and didn't have insurance for a while and then got a new job and was extremely busy, so it had been 5 years since I had gone for my annual exam. Dr. Macey said, "The last time I saw you, your hair was longer and darker". He was absolutely right!!!! HOW COULD HE EVEN REMEMBER THAT WITH ALL THE PEOPLE HE SEES EACH DAY????!!! I LOVE Dr. Macey and his nurse Lori. When I go to them I feel like a real human and not part of a cattle call. They are very thorough and you can ask them anything without feeling embarrassed... but you probably wont have to ask anything, because they will tell you every scenario of anything you could think of before you even have to. I would never go to anyone else... if I had to move to Australia, I would fly back to Nashville once a year to see Dr. Macey. My daughter is grown now and goes to Dr. Macey. When she goes in, they ask about me and told her that I really needed to get in there. When I told Dr. Macey that I bet he will be delivering my grandchildren in the next few years, he tilted his head and said in a humble sincere voice, "Oh, I really hope I do". Of course he will!!!
