This was my first time having Nando's and in retrospect, I should have just gotten the normal chicken instead of trying to be healthy and get a salad.
This is located right next to the MK Arena and with a whole strip of other restaurants like Prezzo, Bella Italia, TGI Fridays so you can pick your choice of fast-food along this whole strip. This might be the best place to get something healthy with a decent selection of chicken, sides and even salads. The menu is quite varied, but I found that the portions were a bit small and the prices were a bit steep for what you get.
The chicken with the sides seems to be the most popular option and I was wishing I had gotten that instead of the salad with chicken breast, as the pieces of chicken with the crispy skin looked a lot more tasty than my slices of chicken breast. The salad I got was the Supergrain Salad which had greens, beans, and some grains, with avocado chunks and an avocado & buttermilk dressing. I got it with the chicken which was fine, but the other chicken looked better! The salad was a bit on the small side for the price, and I was still hungry after.
I got a side of the sweet potato mash but this felt like it had a lot of sugar + butter in it, so it definitely was not healthy. I wouldn't get this side again.
All in all, a decent place to eat with a wide selection of food. It probably wouldn't be my first choice of places to eat, but this is a good place to grab a casual meal. I wouldn't say it's super fast, as it took 10-15 for our food to come out, so just beware if you're in a hurry. Next time I'll skip the salad and get their chicken and sides. read more
