This branch used to be so much better. Now - not so much. Long wait times, hard to get seating, no reservations available only walk-ins. They can never seem to get the order right either. As for their actual food, there is no meat on the bones, no matter what you order there is actually very little chicken given. The flavours are obviously amazing and set the precedence for "Peri peri" chicken itself, but it's just not up to scratch in terms of what is actually served. Skip this place, and look for local takeaways that serve peri peri (Portuguese) chicken with a decent amount of chicken on the bone. You would be far happier and save money too! :) read more

Dare I say it... Nando's is the best chain around. It's seriously impressive that a chain can commit to never freezing their food and also aims to use local ingredients when possible. The chicken is SO delicious and is always incredibly high quality. They have about 15 sauces you can choose from to douse your chicken in: mild, spicy, super spicy, mango, lemon, peri peri.... & so many more. It's fun to head over to the sauce station and try several of them. I've gotten the grilled chicken sandwich with grilled pineapple (added topping) and the grilled chicken pitta with red peppers, cucumbers and pineapple. Delicious. The chips here are also delicious and I always order corn on the cob as a side. I wish more restaurants offered that! It's rare to see. This chain truly lives up to the hype!!! I really hope they come to America soon! Super easy system: they seat you at a table, then you walk to order and get a number. They bring you your food and in the meantime, you can get up and get your own drink and any fixings or hot sauces you need. They are definitely known for their sauces. The chicken was absolutely outstanding. They use local and really high-quality ingredients but the prices were absolutely reasonable. Great for groups and family friendly! read more

This is one of the better Nandos I've been to. Its always busy, yet the staff try to ensure you're seated as soon as possible. The food is cooked to order, to a spice level of your choosing, and there are loads of delicious things to try. The chicken used at this branch is halal meat. There are highchairs for children, and the soft drinks are refillable which is good, and the frozen yoghurt machine is always popular! Nando's is not a cheap family dining restaurant, yet it is definitely affordable. All the meat used is halaal at this location, and drinks are refillable. Every person can get their meat cooked exactly to their specification (i.e. spice level) so you can be sure that everyone will be happy. Went to Nandos in Luton recently with my wife and 2 kids. I must say I cannot fault this restaurant chain for value for money. I love the bottomless fizzy drink options, which went down well with the kids and helps to keep the cost down, especially when eating out as a family. I had half a chicken with spicy rice and chilli peas - delicious. my wife had the mash, which was a delicious change to chips. The staff were polite, quick and efficient without it feeling like they were rushing us at of the door. Will definately return. read more

Nandos is Nandos - if you have been to one before you know the general jist. If not: wait to be seated, look over the menu and make your choices. Most people choose a cut of chicken, then a sauce, and then sides. Add a starter if you wish, memorise your table number, and go up to the tills to pay. Soft drinks are mostly free refills. Personally, I like to get the chicken pitta (with added halloumi and chilli jam on the side - trust me, it's amazing), plus spicy rice and corn on the cob. For starters, the houmous is great and comes with a little bottle of peri peri to pour on to taste. As far as nandos go, this is a clean one with lovely servers every time I've been there. I'd advise not going on Wednesdays as it's in a cinema complex and Orange Wednesdays mean it gets really busy. read more

Nandos is an awesome choice almost anywhere in the UK. I love their mango and lime marinade for the chicken. The chicken pita and the chicken sandwich are good options, although the chicken plates themselves are the best choice. The corn on the cob should be one of your sides. Whilst I am a fan of Nando's in general, the problem at the Galaxy branch is the inconsistency when it comes to how hot the food is. Despite being able to request what level of hotness you would like the food, it really is pot luck and dependent on the chef that day. Whilst I enjoy Nando's food I don't like playing Chilli Russian Roulette when taking the family for dinner. read more

The food itself is not bad however if you love spicy food like me - you will find their 'very spicy' chicken pretty mild.
