DFC functions as both a standard takeaway and, thanks to the ample seating inside, a sit in restaurant. I've tried out plenty of takeaways in Birmingham, but I've seen few shops as cheap as DFC, which has an extensive £1 menu, serving nuggets, donner burgers, chicken wings, and a number of other takeaway favourites, with chips, for just one quid. As you may very well expect, the food isn't exactly haute cuisine, but at that price, it's great value for money.

They offered thighs chunks and breasts. I ordered the breasts. They came out super piping hot in a few minutes and they call your number to pick up. There is nowhere to sit down and there is zero ambience. You pick up your chicken and then you go eat it in the street outside. The breast is flattened and extra crispy and was definitely good. I would prefer a table to sit out but that's not the way Chinatown rolls. No matter what time you walk past this place there's always a line. Give it a go.

As well as various sizes of 'bucket' or meal with fries and chicken in them, they also do things like bbq ribs and onion rings. Great place to go if you've a few people turn up unexpectedly coz you can feed a fair number quite cheaply from here with little fuss. For me place like this should provide fast service and food that you can eat to fill up. your stomach. When they are not in rush hours then this particular KFC provides both of these things. At lunchtime the queue no longer allows for such a fast service. I've been to three different KFC restaurants in Milton Keynes and this one seems to be the best It always entertains me when people try to talk about fast food and healthy eating.
