We ordered: -- an appetizer combo (£9.95) of halloumi sticks, peri-peri nuts, spicy mixed olives: tasty start to our meal. -- lemon herb chicken wings (£5.95, three to an order): did not try. -- chicken butterfly meal to share (£15.20): medium heat had a nice kick, though the chicken breast needed sauce (we liked both the mild lemon & herb and medium garlic peri-peri) to give it more flavor. Sides of garlic bread & creamy mash weren't anything special. -- strawberry & dragonfruit quencher and cloudy lemonade (£3.95 each): neither were strongly flavored enough to consider ordering again. Known for kebabs, shawarmas, and burgers, Yum Yum also does deep fried mars bars, which I noticed when I first went up the steps of the Close with their outdoor sign. Being that Edinburgh is one of the few areas that have spots that make these, I was happy to see Yum Yum did it. I'm basing my review off of my order experience. It was made quickly. Payment was fast. And the mars bars was decent. If I was drunk, I would probably be foodgasming more. But I will say, it was very good and pleased I was able to experience while I was in town.

One of the strengths of Indian restaurants for me is there usually better than average vegetarian selection. Indeed Red Fort's buffet offers a very good vegetarian selection. The only draw back I can see from Red Fort might be that it can get a bit busy, at least during term time or festival weekends. For some reason it attracts quite large groups.
