Yummy rotisserie chicken with a variety of sauces to choose from. One whole chicken and sides of macaroni cheese bites, Parmesan green beans and avocado salad were enough for 3 of us to share. Less than a block off the royal mile, they weren't busy at all. Come to find out they just opened.

The chicken was dry, to bad because the taste was good. The brownrice in de salad was kind of hard to chew. The hot sauce was really spicy & hot, I liked it. The beef rib portion was huge. The staff was real friendly and the place has a great ambiance. I really loved the leather bar seats. The strawberry mojito was excellent. Great place to sit and enjoy food with friends.

I didn't know that and did 2 orders of the full wings. I finished it, but it was a lot of food. Both the wings, and the fries were really good! The bathroom pretty gross, but other than that everything was great!

Based upon my love of Wings, my wife found this place while in Edinburgh and we knew we had to give…read moreit a try. We decided to come in here one day for lunch. The theme inside was kinda surprising. It had a lot of movie and tv references, the most prominent being Star Wars. We also watched someone try their heat challenge. I'll just say I felt bad for the guy. We asked the waitress afterwards and she said not many pass. Most fail after 2-3 wings. Their normal heat selection goes from 1-8, but their heat challenge goes up to 11. For our food, I tried the Margarita wings, located in their "boozy" section. I really enjoyed these as they had a lot of flavor. I also got a side of mac and cheese, and chose chipuffalo sauce - a combo of chipotle and buffalo - it added a great flavor to the mac and cheese with just the right amoumt of heat. The other wings I tried were the Bit of French, which is garlic pepper flavored. It was actually really bland. I ended up dipping them into the remaining chipuffalo sauce. The restaurant is in a lot of stone, so you get almost no cell service. Just an FYI.

I think it is important for us to include in the review if the establishment is halal as we also have a lot of Muslim Yelpers and friends who would love to know that and we can help them in selecting restaurant. Zuhus has a menu very much like Nando's. Or shall I say 'exactly' like Nando's. It's basically mainly peri peri based chicken, burgers and wraps. I came here twice but only had the peri peri chicken. The guy who served me was very accommodating. I ordered half a chicken but with 2 quarter chicken legs and he gave it to me. The taste of he chicken was up to scratch and the meat itself was juicy and tender. The size of the chicken I believe is slightly bigger than what Nando's is serving, which is of course a value for money. They have won my points on all aspects on value, taste and portion. However, they have lost my point on creativity and originality. This place is an exact replica of Nando's. From the menu, sauce and the bottle for the sauce (tall rectangular bottle). Why can't they come up with something more original? I would still recommend people to come here and definitely be back again myself.

These pies are a great light lunch or snack when consumed by themselves. Or one can get a variety of them and make it a meal. The pies are made fresh daily and displayed in the glass case at the counter along with other British style fried foods such as Tattie Dogs, Sausage Rolls, etc. There are a variety of the infamous pies offered. We tried a Steak and Ale pie and an Original Scotch Pie with brown sauce packet for the pour over. I enjoyed mine (Scotch Pie) and could've eaten a couple more God willing. Along with an Irn Bru, this was a satisfying and affodable meal. Definitely give this place a try when in the area.

They make perfect snack sized pastries that let you try a variety without getting too full. Compared to other local pasty shops their baked pastries use better ingredients and are better cooked. I love how flaky and golden colored the pasties were. You'll find a variety of traditional pasties here as well as some unique creations worth checking out. My kids loved the hasbrowns wrapped around a sausage so much we ordered an extra one even though they said they weren't hungry before. This is located in a busy area and there are a small amount of seats inside against the window and a small table next to the drinks. There isn't any seating or place to sit outside so I wouldn't plan on eating here.

We were welcomed and seated--the ambiance is more like a Panera if you're from the States. It's warm and comforting, and service was very good. We tried the chain years ago in London; & when in the vicinity of one in Edinburgh recently, were game for a lunch seasoned with peri-peri, a type of spicy chili pepper. We ordered: -- an appetizer combo (£9.95) of halloumi sticks, peri-peri nuts, spicy mixed olives: tasty start to our meal. -- lemon herb chicken wings (£5.95, three to an order): did not try. -- chicken butterfly meal to share (£15.20): medium heat had a nice kick, though the chicken breast needed sauce (we liked both the mild lemon & herb and medium garlic peri-peri) to give it more flavor. Sides of garlic bread & creamy mash weren't anything special. -- strawberry & dragonfruit quencher and cloudy lemonade (£3.95 each): neither were strongly flavored enough to consider ordering again. Until a Nando's location opens up in a city near me, my sentimental traveler's heart will do a little summersault when I spot them abroad.
