I have been going to Julie for sometime. she always did a good job on my nails. I have bad cuticles when my nails are short but when they are longer they are perfect. She has been filing my nails so into the point where they break at the bottom of my nailbed. She was so good in the beginning but after f several visits she has done a very poor job. today I had a regular manicure and asked her to shape them like one of my nails looked which is the natural shape I have. my cuticles are a mess they look like they did when I walked in. She never spoke or looked up at me. I didn't have my glasses on when I looked at the shape. when I got into my car I was disgusted. my clear nail polish looked ridiculous and I had dirt under one of my nails. read more

This is how my nails looked when I left the salon. I was extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the services completed. When asked the technician to fix almost all of the nails because cuticles weren't cut or paint was not evenly painted, they insisted I was done. THIS is what I missed the most during quarantine. I was so excited all week to see Nancy and get my eyelash extensions done again. I get compliments all the time on her work (even the mechanic who did my inspection sticker said I have nice lashes! ). Now that I'm covered from head to toe in PPEs at work, it feels nice to have my eyes done up. When she told me to wash my hands,she more like demanded. She did the same when she told me to pick the colors.I was like I wanted to leave now! When I tried to show her the picture of the manicure I wanted,she said she did not need to see it! I was upset but still put the phone away quietly. After that she asked how I wanted it. Nancy runs this salon perfectly. She makes sure it is kept clean and tidy and always keeps an eye out for everything that is going on in the salon to be sure clients are being taken care of as they should. This is while she is working on her own clients. In other words she truly cares about the client. I have only had gel manicures and have gone to Nancy, Julie and Cathy but they are all equally good and so nice. Only complaint is parking can be tough but you can find on street parking if Nancy's parking spaces are unavailable. read more

I had a pedicure today and I was very disappointed when I first went in I was looking for colors and the girl that waited on me kind of rushed me wanted to know was I finished yet was I ready and I was early to begin with I wasn't even late and I just felt very rushed and very not welcomed when I walked in also I was told that the price was $28 for a pedicure when I went to pay the girl told me $33 so I felt I was overcharged $5 because she filed one of my nails any other place I ever went to they never charged for filing a rough nail down and here I had to pay $5 more I was very disappointed in the whole experience and all I can say is I will never go back read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible, rushed shellac manicure. No hand message. I asked her to fix my nail after my pedicure, and she refused! I could have done them better myself, and I don't even paint my own nails. I should have asked my 1 year old niece. When I told her my nails didn't match my toes (the same color) she replied, sometimes it looks different on your toes. Excuse me? Maybe because your manicurist used one layer on my nails and then had someone else do my feet. So annoyed that I paid fifty dollars to go home and peel off my disgusting nail color. read more

I couldn't wait for Nancy to open her own salon, and I'm thrilled to say its just as I expected, wonderful. Its clean, bright and comfortable... The pedi seats are awesome and I love the tree in the middle of the salon. It just makes me so happy to see Nancy doing what she loves, on her own terms. I have no idea why this place is getting good reviews. It poor organized and this tree with some chrustmas decoration in the middle? Seriously? It is already May. I came there for my gel manicure. Well, what they did, I could have done it myself. 20 min for manicure and that's it. When you go to salon for your manicure you expect a little more than file and paint. No customer services. Every nail polish I chose was running out and I had to make my choice again. Towels on the table: I guess it was one towel for every client. They just throw some paper towels on top. No massage, oils or smth like that. Others do that! The whole painting job wasn't perfect too. My skin had some polish on it. If I wanted manicure like that, I could have stayed home and did it myself! Oh, and even if they say " we have parking lot" nah.... 4 spots are not enough! read more

I am so glad to find this nail salon. I've been to three other nail salons in Stoneham and the subpar, inconsistent quality of the work and/or the prices have made me not want to return. Thanks to Yelp I found Nancy's which I found out has only been open for a few months. The interior is really clean and tastefully decorated with cute light fixtures, a chandelier, and even an artificial tree with all sorts of seasonal decorations such as hearts and shamrocks. Nancy answered the phone when I called on a Friday morning to see if they were busy. They were not and when I arrived 15 minutes later, I was greeted again by Nancy. She is really friendly and looked up to say hello even though she was with a customer and was not my nail technician. Cindy did my eyebrow and lip wax, and we bonded instantly because she spoke Cantonese too. She did a nice job and offered me tea which I politely declined. Then I was whisked away to a very clean chair/station in which Andrew performed my pedicure. He also did my manicure afterwards. All in all, my services took close to two hours because Andrew was so meticulous but it was worth it. He was also fun to chat with but also respected the silence and let me enjoy the relaxing moments. Since it was early on a weekday the shop was not full and I loved the tranquility. They are open on Sundays which is great because I don't usually have the chance to come on a weekday. They offer discounts to college students and seniors early in the week. The waxing was $15 total and a basic spa pedi/mani was $35 which is comparable to other salons in the area. I cannot wait to come back. There is a great selection of colors for nail services, it's pristine as mentioned above and they are so friendly. As others have noted, they even offer you beverages as you enjoy your services. read more

I went to get a dip manicure 1 week ago. They cut two of my fingers and they were bleeding. I got black dip and you could see the nail file marks even after the top coat. Very poorly done. I have never gotten a dip manicure that required a top coat to dry. Now 4 of my nails are cracked and chipped. I shouldn't have paid for this terrible service. Great salon. Very clean and nicely decorated. Got a gel manicure and they used the OPI curing lamps with the OPI gel which is what they are supposed to do. I have been to other salons that use off-brand curing lights which I don't like. I got zero heat flash when my nails were curing which is another good sign. They also put fingerless gloves on my hands before to protect from the UV which was an appreciated touch. Will definitely be back. read more

I had went here previously to get a pedicure which was pretty good.I was in the neighborhood for a hair appointment and stopped in for a polish change on my feet and full set with gel polish.Has to have been the worst manicure I have ever gotten-I get one almost every two weeks at my regular place.The girl who did my full set cut my fingers three times ! She has the nerve to say" oh what did you do to your finger" I replied are you serious you just cut me with your machine !! She then proceeded to sand down my nails with a buffer that was too big she ended up burning my finger. Last but not least one of the gel acrylic nails did not set.Again asked "Oh what did you do" .At this stage I wanted to be the hell out of here.A lot of the nails were not the same size or evenly cut .See attached picture.The only reason I gave one star was because I left so upset I forgot my wallet which I was able to retrieve.Overall very rough,not skilled to do nails definitely not professional.Save yourself a trip and your money go somewhere else !!! read more
