I live in Pennsylvania and my important lady was working at the Dallas Fort Worth airport over valentine's day. I used yahoo.com to search florist near the airport. I selected this florist because I thought they knew the area and could easily make a nice floral arrangement to her on this important day.. not so, because their advertizement indicated they were local but this is not the truth for they are merely 'a shister' making a middle man profit from around Seattle Washington and then making the referal not as a retail customer but as a wholesaler/distributor/reseller. You can guess what happened...I paid for a nice floral arrangement and never got delivered because they could not speak for their referring florist.. they (Nancy's Florist) called me at 2:00 PM VALENTINE's Day and said they could not have it delivered on this day because it was half over and I could not find another florist in the middle of this busy day to fulfill the job.. Beware !!! A rose is not a rose unless you can smell it.. I can say that reputation is the award of business and Nancy's Florists smells..I call this fraudulent sales.. good luck Stan B read more

Very bad experience with this shop, when I ordered a floral arrangement for a funeral service. I placed it 4 days before the event, and the flowers were barely delivered by the time gravesite service started. It didn't look at all as what we ordered and paid for, starting with it being a smaller size, and was missing even the ribbon with the sympathy message on it. They are pricey, and the family was not even aware we sent them flowers. This is dishonest business, don't buy from them at all costs! read more

I have received at least 8 deliveries from my husband for various occasions from Nancys and each arrangement has been outstanding. I have even sent flowers to my husband and others through Nancy's and they were spectacular. The girls I work with can't believe the beautiful arrangements and my hubby has even sent cookies or treat baskets for the girls to enjoy as well. Never disappointed and fast delivery too. read more

I called and ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday and they were delivered on time and she absolutely loves them! I told the woman on the phone that I wanted a long-lasting sweet smelling bouquet with some taller features to make it interesting. I recently placed an online order for a floral arrangement for a very special occasion. I thought I clicked on Nancy's Floral, but apparently I clicked on Floral Delivery Express by mistake..or my order was hijacked by them. The arrangement was an absolute joke.. The person they went to had to cut and arrange them herself. my. credit card was charged $13.00 more than expected and someone named Wesley charged an additional $3.99 the next day. When I went to Nancy's to complain about this they were shocked. Bless their hearts, they sent a proper arrangement for me free of charge and worked to find out how this happened. So all of you who have given less than quality reviews to this business, maybe take it to the source before you bad mouth a top quality family business! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Will not order or purchase in person again. oh and this was to be my Mother's Day gift. My husband went in at 3pm and purchased the small edible fruit basket. Pineapple covered with chocolate, plus 2 kinds of "green" melon, strawberries and grapes. After 2days we still could not eat the melon. I went into store to make comments....my answer was let the melon ripe. Well it is one week later and they will find the uneaten arrangement on their doorstep for disposal. This February I ordered an extra $$ arrangement because we found out my Grandma has cancer-- might be her last birthday. I went over later that day to see the tiny arrangement.. very tiny for $89.00. I found Nancy's floral by doing a bing search on line and found a great arrangement at a reasonable price for my Mother-in-law's birthday. I called their direct line (not 1-800 flowers which Nancy's floral is a part of) and ordered from Megan what I wanted I said I wanted the Zen Artistry arrangement - very specific - very Asian/tropical and perfect for the occasion. After being put on hold, Megan came back on line and said that they did not have the same orchids as in the picture I was looking at but could substitute for Yellow ones instead. However it would be $10 more. I should have hung up right then. Because it went down hill from there on. The order was not delivered until 5:30 pm that day. My Mother-in-law was not home, so they just left it on the porch. Fortunately it was still there when she came home from going out to dinner. The arrangement it-self did not have one flower that was the same as the photo I selected...not one. I was very clear about what I wanted - so much so that I felt like I was overthinking the situation and request. My Husband went to Visit his Mom last night and took a photo - asked me if this was what I ordered because it didn't match my verbal description. I called and talked to Travis (who was very nice) but said, I would need to talk to the Manager to get a credit or something? Travis also said that the person who took the order didn't tell the designer I wanted that specific arrangement? Only a tropical Bouquet with the yellow orchids. So they admitted they messed up - and suggested I e-mailed the manager. So I did including what the arrangement I ordered should have looked like and also what it really did look like - hoping that I would get some concession out of the deal - a credit, a new arrangement, or something? So the Manager Rob Cook writes back and gives me a bunch of crap about how the order was not properly placed and that I got what I paid for and that I was lucky they did just leave it or the flowers would not have been delivered that day and so on. I wrote back again and said that I was specific - very clear and very specific clear. That I was disappointed in how this was handled. As of this writing I'm still waiting for their reply. Would I go back? No way.... There are too many other ethical and decent florists out there....my search continues.... I gave this 2 stars because they did deliver flowers and they were nice on the phone (Travis) - but if I could give the Manager a rating it would be a Zero...If they make this right by me I'll cancel or remove this posting or upgrade the rating. UPDATE - The Manager Rob Cook has advised he will replace the flowers with what I ordered. I felt like I had to really complain but they said they will do up another arrangement and send out. My husband purchased a $69.00 arrangement. The flowers I received looked nothing like what was pictured online when he purchased them. It had four roses and two smaller rose sprays. It was definitely not a $69 arrangement! There are professional florists elsewhere!! read more

I ordered a arrangement for my wifes birthday. it showed up with dead flowers, more leafs/green then flowers, very poor quality for the money spent. Called the shop with my complaint. They said they were going to resend a new arrangement. I was told arrangement would be delivered by 6 p.m. waited all night and no arrangement showed up. had cancelled my wife dinner plans for her birthday. had called the after hours number twice and was told someone would call me and no one did. The next day I called spoke to the manager who was not helpful. They did redeliver the flowers but it still looks nothing like I order. VERY BAD service. I will never shop here again. Flowers were great, nothing wrong with the product at all. I am just extremely upset at the customer service I received. I called the morning of my grandfathers funeral to see the status of when the flowers we ordered would be arriving at the funeral home. Disclaimer: I GET that customers sometimes ask dumb questions or call for "useless" information. But I am at a FUNERAL, things can get hectic or stressful when trying to make things go smoothly when you're really upset. When I called, the guy who answered the phone made it CLEAR in his voice that he was not pleased to help me. He sounded very irritated with me- I just asked to confirm an order and the address it was being sent to. He sounded like I had asked him to walk on water or something! I was scrambling to get the address- EXCUSE ME for not being prepared- but please give me a little slack here! When he openly sounded irritated, I asked him politely "Can you please be patient with me?" MY GRANDPA JUST DIED FOR HEAVENS SAKE! He just gave a smug laugh like it was some joke and proceeded to ask "Are you done?" ARE. YOU. DONE?! I am appalled at the lack of professionalism! I get that customers can be annoying with their "silly questions"- but HAVE A LITTLE SYMPATHY and TACT. Maybe next time instead of asking "are you done?"... maybe a professional "Is there anything else I can help you with?" would make the difference! You're in the business that sometimes services something sad- like...oh...funerals... Have a little more sympathy for those customers that are dealing with a loss. It must be nice to have soooo much business to not have to care about wanting to keep their current customers happy. So rude. I honestly do not understand how or why Nancy's is still in business. Over the years I have seen numerous arrangements...I swear I can pick out their arrangements. If they are sparse and lacking, it came from Nancy's! I ordered a gorgeous arrangement from 1800Flowers. I should have told them not to use Nancy's but since I live in Sandy I thought I was safe!! LOL. The arrangement was so ugly and sparse I was so disappointed. I requested a replacement BEFORE Christmas Eve. They arrived Friday the 27th. Didn't do me a damned bit of good then. I called in and ordered my flowers in advance because I wanted to make sure they were open on Sunday to pick up the flowers for Mother's Day. I told her that I would be in on Sunday morning at 9-930 to pick up the flowers. I placed my order and when I went to pick them up they said that they were actually made the day I called them in and might still be in the back but had most likely been thrown out. They said it wouldn't be a problem and they have lots of flowers and would be able to make another flower arrangement. It took longer then they said it would to make the arrangement and when it came out it look terrible. The only good thing about this experience is the refunded my money. I was really hoping to get my wife something special for Mother's Day but instead I went to Safeway and picked her up some flowers there. read more

I had a great experience with Nancy's. I ordered a bouquet for my mom for valentines day at the last minute - the day before in fact. I requested a custom bouquet, giving them just a general description of the style I wanted and they created a very lovely bouquet and delivered it the next day as I requested. I spoke to Krista when I placed the order and she was very professional and helpful. I will definitely use them again in the future. read more

I have placed three orders with Nancy's Floral ( all for very very special occasions) and all three have been carelessly incorrect. Each time the manager or owner offered no apology, no compensation or attempt to make it right. The most recent disaster was when my daughter was planning a bridal shower for a dear friend and we went to Nancy's two weeks prior to make sure the order would arrive in time. The order was for 3 bundles of Silver Dollar eucalyptus, the clerk brought out a sample which was perfect but she referred to it as Seeded Eucalyptus- both my daughter and I said "no, we're pretty sure that's called Silver Dollar eucalyptus". The clerk was very adamant that that's what it was called in the "floral world" so we trusted her and ordered the 3 bundles. Two days before the bridal shower my daughter went to pick up her order and , of course, it was wrong. Seeded eucalyptus looks completely different than the Silver Dollar and one bundle was ordered instead of 3. To say the least, my daughter was heart broken but staff seemed indifferent and offered no apologies what so ever, in fact, argued with her that she placed the wrong order!! Not only did we not place the wrong order, we tried our best to inform the floral staff they were incorrect in what they were calling the eucalyptus. My daughter had to ask for her money back - it wasn't offered- and spent the next 24 hours scrambling through Portland and eventually Seaside ( where the shower was) to find what was needed for decorating. Professionalism, courtesy, empathy and basic customer service skills are non existent at Nancy's Floral and I would discourage anyone from supporting this business if you expect what you order to be correct-especially for the exorbitant fees they charge! read more

Never had a problem until today. We ordered a single rose boutonniere, but was handed one with three pink mini roses with brown spots and leaves with brown spots. The clerk went to check on redoing it, came back and said "It's bruised not wilted, and we have gone through roses quickly. You can peel off the brown." Well no not really when the top is all brown. Terrible experience with Nancy's Floral. I ordered top quality arrangements for mothers day to surprise my mom and my future mother-in-law. The original delivery date was the 12th of may. At 7pm nothing had been delivered. I called the service Nancy's uses for orders and they contacted Nancy's who were "shocked" and I was told I would be receiving a phone call with on update on the status of my order. At 11:30 while we were all eating brunch a car pulled up and two people got out with these flowers. I was horrified and embarrassed by the quality of the product they produced. For $123 I expected more. I think safeway would have been a better option for my moms. After trying to go through there customer support I was told "the arrangements have the correct number of flowers, so we did our job right." that is a horrible way to handle the situation. I will never order flowers from this company again and would strong advise against doing so yourself. read more

If I could put 0 stars, I would put that 10 times over. This is the second time I've gotten stuck with Nancy's through 1800flowers. Last Mother's Day they gave me a half assed arrangement. The one in the picture was at least twice the size and the one that was received was missing half the flowers! So I took pictures for proof and contacted the delivery driver who was incredibly rude and asked if I just wanted more daisies to add to it and that Mother's Day was busy and they didn't have enough flowers. It's not my fault that they didn't plan for the holiday, and I want what I paid for and my mom deserves the best. I called up 1800 flowers and spoke to a wonderful person who couldn't have been nicer. She refunded me the cost and asked which florist I would like to re-do the arrangement. This year, I decided to give it another shot and the arrangement once again it was a dinky little arrangment that was the size of the $34 arrangement and not the $74 arrangment that I paid for. I've debated calling up the internet flower company again and complaining about it but I think this is the last time I'll EVER use them. I do think that I will definitely be contacting the internet flower companies and requesting to have Nancy's taken off the list of providers due to their lack of customer service and incomplete arrangments. read more

I purchased my wedding flowers here, including bridal party and center pieces, paid fully in advance, including the delivery fee, but the flowers were not delivered at all, so I ended up having no flowers, no bouquets, no boutonnières, no center pieces at my wedding. I called the next day and spoke to the manager who apologized, had no idea why this happened, and issued me a full refund promptly. I certainly appreciate their response in giving me the refund and apologizing over the phone, but they didn't do anything else- like sending flowers to say I'm sorry or even a card. I waited over a month before reviewing to give an opportunity for the business to follow up with me but that didn't happen. It was really disappointing and stressful on my wedding day, waiting for flowers to arrive which never did, having to explain to the bridal party what happened. I was quite disappointed when I had sympathy flowers put together by Nancy's Floral with FTD service. WOW the picture my friend sent of the arrangement was NOT what I saw in the picture I ordered. There were many missing white flowers, including baby's breath, and they used fern instead of eucalyptus, and never did use blue flower, but pinkish/purple flower. Very disappointed at what looked like something Nancy's Flower threw together. Do not recommend this business. read more

If I could give this NO STARS I WOULD. It was HORRIFYING!! Unfortunately, My grandma had passed away and we knew she truly deserved the best and biggest funeral spray imaginal! She was the Mother of 17 children and grandma to about 200 grandchildren, me being one of them. Her passing was a bit sudden and so I didn't have much time to shop around. Though I considered other places, I stumbled upon Nancy's Floral and was pleased with the photos I saw. My mother and I found a bouquet we liked and we called to request it. Upon ordering we requested the PREMIUM spray which was suppose to be the biggest! Even more so than the deluxe! The day had finally came and my parents had flown from Arizona to Oregon for the funeral. So there they were, all 17 of her children and plenty of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. THERE WERE SOOO MANY BEAUTIFUL BOUQUETS COMING IN ! My mom then called me and she was puzzled, where was the bouquet we had ordered? Immediately I called Nancys Floral with no success of getting a hold of anyone. Then I received another called from my mom, and this time she was crying. She finally came across the flowers, and she was sooo EMBARRASSED! Her mom, whom she was extremely close to truly deserved only the best. What she received was the smallest piece of garbage I have EVER seen. While all her siblings had the most beautiful spays laid out for my grandma, my parents had a small little bundle of flowers, NOTHING like the photo. They were so embarrassed. All my grandmas children and their family stood against there bouquets for photos, and the one photo my mom took with their flowers, was my mom crying. She knew her mom deserved only the best. My grandma was one of the utmost respected and beautiful souls I have ever come to know. If I should be ever so lucky to become half the woman she was I'd be blessed beyond measures. I am sooo disappointed in Nancys floral. That is a day we will NEVER be able to turn back to. And those memories can never be redone. To this day, my mother still cries about it. I did call Nancys Floral several times with promises for my call to be returned, which again NEVER happened. It truly breaks my heart and I would NEVER recommend Nancys floral to anyone! Please don't waste your money, especially if it's a sentimental and important occasion. I am ashamed to have ever spent TWO HUNDRED dollars on garbage. Shame on you Nancys Floral. I have used Nancys in the past and was always great. I Used them again and the Flowers's sent to my mom for her birthday looked nothing like what was on there website. The quality was horrible and didn't even looked arranged just thrown in a vase and some of the roses where wilted petals around the edges. I will not use them again. read more

One star is being generous. This place is terribly mismanaged, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. My father passed away last Sunday and a friend ordered a bouquet on Monday to be delivered to me. It was to arrive within 4 hours of the order being placed. The flowers never arrived and my friend was never contacted regarding their failure to deliver in the timeframe promised. The next day (Tuesday), while I was at work making arrangements, I received a call from Cheryl saying she was at my house trying to deliver the flowers. When I informed her that I was not there and that she needed to contact my friend who sent the flowers to see what should be done she responded with such an attitude that I was taken aback. She said she needed me to give her the purchaser information. I informed her that she needed to contact her employer to get that information and to figure this out because I didn't know whether or not my friend would want to keep the bouquet purchase considering the delivery was a full 24 hours late. She got rude with me and tried to argue that I must give her the purchaser information. I was shocked at her lack of compassion and professionalism. When my friend contacted the florist, horrified by the experience I was now having while dealing with my father's recent death, they gave her 2 different stories about what had happened and mixed responses when it came to getting a refund for the flowers that I never received. While she was dealing with the staff, Cheryl called me again and left a voice message where she LAUGHED and used a condescending tone stating she was "soooorrrryyyy for the inconveeeeeenience" as well as "this is your ONLY order and it's for TODAY" and that she will try to deliver the flowers to my office. I could not believe it. I never received my bouquet, my friend has yet to receive a refund, and I am furious with this business's blatant inconsideration for their clients' time and money, as well as the happiness and satisfaction of the recipients of their product. read more

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered flowers for someone's birthday. Instead of delivering them with the excuse no one was there, they call the birthday girl and tell her she is getting flowers and they will deliver them tomorrow. First of all there was someone there the entire day for the purpose of not missing her SURPRISE flowers. So not only did they not deliver her flowers they told her. Why wouldn't you call the person who ordered the flowers??? So when i called, with an agitated tone, not cussing, She yells at me and says I won't be yelled at. So then I said ok well you will refund me and I will get someone to do your job the right way. She hangs up the phone. So I call back and she yells at me we are refunding your money and hangs up. I found another florist who delivered with great service and might I add cheaper. Sad people have no care or pride in their company ethics and customer service. 1800flowers you should screen who you contract. read more

I'm extremely unsatisfied and disappointed with not only the arrangement I received but also the customer service. I ordered the "make it gorgeous" version of this bouquet and what was delivered did not even closely resemble what I ordered. I was too embarrassed to give these flowers to my grandma for Mother's Day and ended up having to go to the store to buy more flowers to add to the bouquet before I could give it to her. When I called to make a complaint, the owner said "there were prepared to order" which they clearly were not. With the unusual circumstances, I tried to be understanding but the costumer service was terrible and basically had a "screw you" attitude. I will never order from this florist again, 0/10 recommend. They clearly do not care about customer satisfaction and only care about money. I wish a refund could be issued because I could have used the money to buy flowers at the store and make my own bouquet that would have looked 100 times better. I should have know from the use of carnations in their bouquets that this was not a high end florist. read more
