I called her 5 times, no response. I finally text her and her response is harsh and uncalled for. She then proceeds to call me rude because I called to ask questions about the property. She seems annoyed that I have questions and are refusing to answer them. The owner should be aware that such an aggressive and rude person is managing their property.

We were calling real estate agents from our condo trying to look at homes. Out of dozens of calls, two agents called me back. That's how I met Blaga. Unfortunately, the house we wanted to see was already gone. However, she agreed to meet with us to show us rental houses over a 24-hour period on Easter weekend. She showed us homes, helped find us a good fit for us and our dogs, negotiated some details on the pets for us, and we signed the lease and were on our way. I was so impressed with the service and skills that when it came time to buy a home, I asked her to be our representative. She found us a wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood that was at a great price. The home she suggested didn't impress me on the Internet but she took us through the house and showed us what the ad didn't. With her help, our bid (one of three) was the winning bid, despite not being the highest. She then helped us negotiate an early exit to our lease so we could close on the house, and she did it with such grace that afterwards, the landlord asked her to manage the property for him. I would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a good real estate professional who knows the Austin market inside and out and has really amazing insight on matching people to places.

But a year or two ago I had to sell my home in Cedar Park quickly as I had already moved to another state. A friend recommended Annette and I'm glad he did. She was quick, efficient and got me a great deal on the sale. I couldn't have done it myself and I'm sure she got me a better price than I would have fetched. Plus, she eliminated the headaches of all the back and forth negotiating with the buyer and her agent. Annette was there for the property inspection, she simply took care of everything. She even helped me liquidate appliances and furniture I didn't want to have to move. The best part was, she left me secure in the knowledge that my interests would be represented fairly and left me with the confidence that I would max out the potential net from the sale. And I did. Upon move-in, we were told the upstairs & downstairs had separate AC units with 2 different thermostats controlling each. After bringing up the heating issues, the AC tech informed us that the thermostat downstairs does not control anything & the entire house is running on one unit. The doors were never correctly sealed, resulting in terrible temperature control on the first floor. After mentioning a gas leak to Annette, she agreed to address the issue immediately. She did not address the issue for 4 days. Upon move-out, Annette took over half of our deposit (1 month's rent) without any backup, rhyme, or reason. Aside from how poor her skills are as a property manager, I could not in good conscience recommend her as a real estate agent. She is very deceitful.

I want to set this up as fairly as possible since this is not an overall "good" review. I am extremely decisive, I move fast and with purpose. I had been reviewing houses and making lists on my own. There was a listing on redfin I wanted details on and that connected me to Keri Jackson. I never sought her out or had any recommendations. Keri offered to send me MLS listings, which were nothing more than I was finding across all the real estate sites. I figured to view homes I would need an agent, so why not her. Keri is very personable, very pleasant. The 2 days we went out to see the houses I had selected, were efficient. Like I said there are things I make calls on right away and can parse the remaining into ranks of desirability. On day 2 my husband joined us and this a very different dynamic. Keri also almost ran into the shoulder barrier on I35 because she was texting and driving with us in the backseat. After we selected the house, Keri was on things until the contract was signed. From there, things started to slide rapidly until it felt like she was a completely different person. My issues: She never found any houses for me to review, it was always a 1-way exchange, me to her. She had me drop of title payments instead of her, she left me to deal with the title company. She wasn't there for the closing. Never got that "awesome" cooler I was promised. She highly recommended a painter who went over budget and time and was no help in solving. She was supposed to deal with a disagreement about Water Softener, which no paperwork that was promised to show settled was ever presented to us. She never even came back for her key lockbox, after a year I threw it away. She sent more than 1 request for a review, never having asked if I was happy with our relationship. I felt like once the contract was signed, she secured her money and she moved on. She never really cared about us and our needs. The manner of the relationship left my husband and me feeling like we had been hustled, and that is a great way to ruin a new home in a new area during the covid experience. She was one of the few people we now knew in the area. We put our trust in her, felt like the next contract, and how busy she came first to her. Again I accept my own faults in the situation but felt an obligation to share our experience since it would have been useful to me.

Let me first start by saying as people, the Cummings Team seemed nice enough on the surface…read more Unfortunately for me, I'm basing my review purely on a real estate transaction and my experience dealing with the nightmare that has happened since closing. They seem to have rave reviews when they're representing clients, but I was someone who purchased one of their listings in Leander. A listing that was touted by them on their company letterhead as having a $40k remodel, which to this day no receipts have been furnished to substantiate the claim despite my continued requests. A listing that had major plumbing and waterproofing issues not to anyone's code from a remodel that could only be found once walls could be cut into after we closed. A property that I paid generously well above list price for due to it being move-in ready for my family who will now be staying in an apartment the next month while my home becomes a construction zone and I incur upwards of $10k to have a bathroom completely redone. Even more shocking is the fact that as I knew certain minor repairs would need to be done based on our inspection such as caulking and a securing a staircase, they also tried to profit from that by having Mr. Cummings put in a bid as a general contractor, which honestly feels like a huge conflict of interest to me. As an agent representing clients selling a home, you would think they would vet their clients as much as they did myself as a legitimate cash buyer. You would think they would vet who and how that remodel was done before selling it up as being $40k in value on their brokerage's company letterhead. You would also think that when my agent approached them the other day hoping for help to resolve this, they would want to do everything in their power to help rectify the situation given they are an extension of their clients actions and inactions. Instead, they made excuses that the sellers were too busy moving and unpacking to help provide receipts. They've since pawned off all of the responsibility to the sellers, taking their nice commission and moving on. Forcing me to dip into my 1.5 year old daughter's savings account to help pay for this all so that I don't have extreme water damage later on. In a market such as Austin that has so many qualified realtors, I'd encourage others to think twice before using these realtors, but also heavily questioning the soundness of their claims with any home they're selling. And if you want me to validate my claims with copies of emails, copies of their promotional materials, photos of the construction issues, emails that have gone ignored by the sellers and remodelers, etc... I'm happy to do so as I'm sure these realtors will attempt to justify this situation that I now face. Karma is an incredible thing and to the sellers and Cummings team, it's something that you'll have to live with. UPDATE AS of 3/10/2021: Since the Cummings team wants to not communicate with me directly about these issues, yet they feel compelled to comment on here, I'm happy to add to my review. Literally hours (yesterday) after they finally sent my agent estimates that still don't verify actual costs spent on an improper remodel and that clearly weren't in their possession up until yesterday, they decide to post this? They didn't vet their clients remodel by asking for supporting documents before selling it up as a $40K upgrade on company documents. Fact. The estimates (most were not receipts) they finally provided yesterday still don't add up to the amount they claim by over $15k. And whether they accepted my offer or someone else's as she just mentioned in her response, that still doesn't excuse the fact that someone was about to incur major costs due to their clients and their contractor. Not to mention their reckless promotion of a home's remodel. And no amount of inspection would have caught this until walls were opened up and that shower pan was torn out. Except perhaps had their pre-list inspector actually chose to look under the upstairs vanity to see the exposed plumbing. The fact is the sellers lived in that home during the remodel. They saw what was going on daily. They knew these contractors were not professional plumbers and permits were not pulled, they or the contractors knew this was not done to code. The other fact is you have exhibited zero communication with me except to call and complain to my agent about my negative review and to finally send over partial receipts and estimates so that you could write a response to my review. This all could have been avoided had you or your clients actually wanted to help make this right by putting me in contact with the contractor like Ive been trying to do since this was under contract or at the very least shown some concern over what I now have been left with. Yes, you represented the seller, so that gives you the right to ignore a situation like this?

Rebekah and Paul are very professional, extremely knowledgeable and are just down to earth people. We felt so comfortable with them immediately. It turned out that we were truly not ready to sell yet after meeting with them. Over the course of a few years, they were always available when we had questions and gave us guidance to get us ready to sell. They were also very helpful with our land search and it seems like they showed us every piece of land within a 50 mile radius. They were always SO generous of their time and never once rushed us or pressured us into anything. When we decided that we were ready to put our house on the market, they never missed a beat and carried us through the entire process. I really can't imagine a better experience. The market is so crazy right now, but they made the selling process seamless for us. The process can be intense at times and Rebekah and Paul were always there for us.
