If you are a serious musician, I do not recommend James…read more He quoted me $300 for a tuning, well above the roughly $180 local market rate I had been seeing. Given the neighborhood and the piano, the pricing felt opportunistic. I specifically requested a well temperament. He was unable to do it and did not appear familiar with the temperament systems I was referring to, so no tuning was performed. I literally sent him home with an article on temperament tuning to read. I also asked him to investigate a buzz. He removed the action, found nothing, and was unable to diagnose the problem. He then tried to charge me $200 for simply removing and reinstalling the action. We eventually settled on $120 for the 45 minutes he spent at my house. So, to summarize: no tuning, no diagnosis, and a $200 attempted charge for pulling an action. For someone with a serious instrument or specific musical requirements, I would look elsewhere.

We are extremely happy with the service we received from Jeff at Priority. He and his crew member…read morewere tasked with moving a piano from upstairs down a circular staircase. It was nail-biting to watch, but he carefully covered the staircase first to prevent any possible damage ( of which there was none). In spite of being a very hot day, he gladly accepted our request to help move a dining room hutch as well. We were located in Temecula and since he was referred to us from an estate sale company, I didn't realize he came all the way from Anaheim until later. For the distance he traveled and the complexity of the job, I felt his fee was very reasonable.

However I was called to discuss the move as I requested and I was notified about when they were coming. When they backed in their own truck and quickly started grabbing their dolly and other necessary equipment, I knew I was in great hands! They took such care of our piano. I was even impressed that they locked the truck back with a padlock even though they went directly from one house to the other. They were so kind. I am very appreciative of the hard work. I know that I am to talk about the price of the move for this review (which was a great price and value) but I would rather discuss how they valued my possession. Thank you both!

I highly recommend Pro Piano Movers! I spoke with Mr. Marvin…read moreover the phone initially to get a quote. He was direct and to the point when answering my questions! I called other piano movers who could provide services immediately some quoted higher, some less, but, I decided to call Mr. Marvin back, and I am so happy I did! He explained that I had just missed the pickup date for long distance moves, which meant, I had to wait two weeks for the next pickup. Initially, I thought about going with someone else, but the wait actually gave me time to better prepare so the move went exactly as planned. Mr. Marvin explained exactly when he would call me with the pickup and delivery times. He followed through just as he said he would! I needed a Hammond C3 Organ picked up from a church and delivered to my home in another city. On the day of pickup, there was a three hour window. Believe me when I tell you, within the first hour, the movers were already at the church! I met two of the nicest guys ever: Mr. RJ and Mr. Edwin. They were professional and friendly at the same time! They handled everything, from opening the heavy double church doors to making sure they got all the cords, the bench, the bass pedals, the Leslie speaker, and the Hammond Organ itself. Afterward, they closed the church doors and made sure I locked them. It took less than thirty minutes, and they were out! That was on Monday. Mr. Marvin called me the next day and asked if I would like to have my organ delivered the following morning. I said that would be fine, which gave me enough time to drive home and be there for the delivery. Again, they were very timely, no long waiting or wondering all day! I was so happy and pleased to see Mr. RJ and Mr. Marvin drive up; it felt like I had known them for a while! They got right to work, brought the organ and all the attachments inside, put everything in its place, and made sure the organ was ready to be played! The whole transaction went so smoothly. I am so grateful I went with Pro Piano Movers. Mr. Edwin & Mr. RJ even gave me hugs. Pro Piano Movers, I highly recommend five stars!
