Ever experience a massage so good that you start planning your review halfway through it? Nana was kind enough to accommodate my last-minute request for a 90-minute deep tissue massage. She has the gentle demeanor of a baby lamb with the precision and strength of a mountain goat. She seamlessly blended hot rocks, deep tissue work, stretches, and exfoliation. She consistently checked in with me to ensure the rocks weren't too hot and that she wasn't massaging too hard, and she was very thoughtful about areas that don't get a lot of attention -- for instance, the outer edges of my knees, the insides of my ankles, and the area on my face where my cheek meets my ear. The price for the massage was extremely reasonable, and probably the best price-to-value massage I've ever received. If I lived in the area, I'd probably try to get a massage from her every week. read more

Great massage. Great price. Nana is super sweet. She also was able to get me in the same day!

Amazing!! Found Nana through Yelp reviews and she was WAY better than I could have asked for. She's very aware of pressure appropriateness and will always gauge it to your preference and comfort level. She's so strong and her technique is right on point. Her message room is very clean and the ambiance is extremely relaxing. Nana is obviously very experienced in her profession and so respectful. I would highly recommend her. read more

Sore neck and shoulders from stress and tension was released with the help of Nana's massage. She is a highly skilled technician who takes extra care to provide her customers heat/oil and stretches in troubled areas. 60 minutes went by quickly! Highly recommend her and suggest you book your massage now! read more

If you're looking for a good strong Asian massage, this is the place. The technique is very good. It gets to all those difficult places that most masseuse just don't know how to tackle. This is not your Swedish massage or one of those barely addresses any tension massages. I used to get all of my massages in the bay area where we had a lot of Asian masseuse and I can tell you that Nana does a comparable job to the San Francisco Bay Area masseuse. Nothing fancy just down to business. read more

I've had over a hundred massages in my life and this woman is amazing. Kind and thorough, appropriate and very accommodating. The way she really knows the body and how to release tension is top notch. Highly recommend. read more

Dropped the wife off for an hour massage and the entire ride home my wife couldn't stop raving about Nana. Super clean business and very attentive to your needs. Wife says she wants to come back every time we are driving by. read more

Wow. Nana is one of a kind. A small woman in stature, but don't let that fool you, she is STRONG and incredibly skilled. I decided to give her a try after reading the raving Yelp reviews. After giving her a call and finding out that a 60 minute massage was only $50, I couldn't help but book. This was quite a bit less than the other prices I was finding locally. Especially considering she utilizes Swedish, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone AND Shiatsu techniques during those 60 minutes. Her studio is located in the Kmart shopping center. Her waiting lobby is comfortable and inviting. She leads you back to a relaxing dimly lit room, and once ready begins the massage by placing warmed bean bags on your back which feel amazing. She inquired about the pressure I wanted and I told her medium. Medium is not for the meek, as she blew me away with her strength and technique. I let her know I had a knot below my neck that had been giving me a lot of discomfort. She made sure to focus that area without neglecting anywhere else, truly making it a full body massage. The Hot Stone therapy was my absolute favorite. The way she utilized them was beyond relaxing and therapeutic. Since this location is located in a shopping center, you are not going to get the completely silent massage you may experience if at a spa (I.e. I heard fire engine sirens, a car door slam). However, I was not upset by this, as I was paying a third of the price I would at one of those spas. Nana Massage is great for the budget conscious, for those who need a regular massage, or anyone who wants to support someone who seems very passionate about her craft. After paying, Nana literally comes out and Will give you a hug, she is so grateful for the patronage. Update a couple days later, and I feel SO much better. She really does a great job. read more

Great massage nana is awesome must go. Great hospitality was very satisfied with massage

Very professional, expert at fitting massage to my specific areas of stress or pain. Totally recommend Nana

No WORDS!!! Just moved here from my comfort zone Shell Beach! I am a huge foot massage advocate as I drive for a living! Visiting lot's of businesses and well you can hop in between stops and get an affordable massage and get back to it! The LA thing to do! So when I saw Nana Massage next to a store I visit and my daughters work I was excited! Especially because my daughters called my precious Mommy NANA! Fate came true! Went today to get the blood flowing and had the BEST massage EVER! Great atmosphere, clean, relaxing music, customer service, hot stones and oil! Nana recommended full body with oils for one hour!! The best value EVER! She is adorable and a GREAT massage therapist and business owner! If I could get her 20 STARS I would!! My plan is to go see Nana every other week~ YEAH ME!!!!! read more

I had the pleasure of getting a massage with Nana while in town for the holiday weekend. The inside of this small studio is very lovely and calming and the massage by Nana was amazing. When I told her I had a small part of my back that was particularly painful she spent a large amount of time focusing on that spot and nearby but did not miss all of the rest. Next time that I am in town a massage at Nana's will be a "Have To Do" read more

This unassuming place puts the emphasis where it belongs. The ambience is not plush or luxurious and the small storefront is in a shopping mall next to a smoke shop, but they offer fabulous, thorough massages, a caring atmosphere, and big hugs! No frills means they can provide wonderful service for a great price - $50 for an hour long massage, including hot stones, warm towels, and a variety of massage techniques as needed. I came in with a painful lower back and neck and by hour's end, Kiki had worked out the kinks, relaxed my muscles, and provided the TLC I needed to tackle the rest of the day without pain. I'm a fan and will become a regular customer. Nana is new here, so you can still get a same day appointment. But hurry - the word will get out! read more

Best massage for the best price! You really can't beat it. You can rest easy and feel comfortable in the clean and inviting environment. I called and was able to get an appointment for the 60 minute full body massage the same evening. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by Nana. Not only was she attentive and made sure the areas I wanted targeted were taken care of she was able to find knots I didnt even know I had and work them out! I was very pleased with my experience and I will definitely be making another appointment soon. read more

How did i not know this place existed before now? All the other reviews say it all. Best massage I've ever had. The hot towels and hot rocks were an added bonus. She is very strong...very good. She is also such a nice, kind, generous woman. The bottled water (and hug) at the end were a nice touch. I'm blown away at how affordable my 90 minute massage was. Yes there was some noise overheard from the next door business but i expected it so wasn't bothered by it. I'll definitely be back! read more

I have had hundreds of massages my entire life and I must say that Nana provides one of the best massages I have ever received. There are many different types of massages that provide a variety of health benefits. Nana has a very intuitive sense of what your body needs to get back to a place of perfect health. She also has a very good technique of using her strong hands and her elbows, sometimes. to give you a deep tissue massage that helps to really relax tight muscles. Her combination of warm towels and warm stones is a delight and those also help to relax tight muscles. I also like the way she uses the warm stones to provide a very unique massage technique. Nana is extremely talented at the art of massage and not only is she an expert with helping your body heal in certain places that need extra work, such as when I came in with a strained shoulder and arm muscle, but she works very hard to help in any way she can from the beginning to the end of the massage session. She really focuses on wellness in a very caring way!! I will be coming back regularly to receive the benefits of massage from Nana. Thank you so much, Nana!!! read more
