I got the 3 entree combo that came with basmati rice, garlic naan, and I picked vegetable korma which was ok and creamy but a little bland, also chose tandoori chicken which was really good and last entree I got chicken tikka masala and it's good but a little on the sweet side. $13 something for my combo plate. This is buffet style and I chose those items. My husband ordered chicken korma to be made which was different from what we are used to...looks like they didn't use yogurt because it didn't taste creamy so that's why we're giving them 4 stars instead of 5 stars. The biryani rice was decent not the greatest but good probably not enough ingredients like nuts and raisins etc. The garlic naan was ok. My husband really likes the samosas and it's like $2 something a piece. People were nice and service was great when we asked for more sauce (tikka masala). Not much of an ambiance. read more

I love Indian food and was shocked to realize this little place was so close to home, tucked away in the far end of the Ralph's shopping center . My group of 4 arrived promptly at 11am, when Yelp stated they were open, but I saw that they had opened a little early and two customers were already served and seated. There were 4 or 5 interior tables that could seat groups of 4. When you walk inside you go straight to the counter to order your food. The gentleman behind the counter greeted us with a big smile and explained the menu. They have 3 combo options (1 vs 2 vs 3 entree) that includes the foods in the hot food display counter or you could order a larger size portion as a single entree off the menu. Things in the hot food display were 1. Chicken tikka masala (spicy and non spicy options) 2. Vegetable Korma 3. Goat Curry (extra$). 4. Saag Paneer 5. Tandoori chicken 6. Aloo Gobi 7. Lentil dish, and I think some others but can't remember!! Anyways after you pick at the counter the employees scoop it in front of you - with the combo meals you get rice and naan. We all chose combos so we could try the different dishes. I really love eggplant and was bummed it was not on the hot selections but guess what? Nice man made it for us anyways to put in our combos!!!! All the flavoring of the food was on point and delicious! The spicy tikka masala is not something for the weak so if you don't like heat then order the "regular" tikki masala. Meat was tender on the goat and chicken dishes. My favorite however was the eggplant, I seriously could eat it everyday Staff were so sweet and kind. We even had a nice conversation about shared interests (running races) and he shared a story about his friend doing the Everest marathon and showed us the pictures. Amazing!! As a namaste regular, i can say that im pretty disappointed with the serving portion on this last visit. I ordered the combo #1 chicken tikka which is only one slot of meat and rice, but the amount of chicken i got (4 small chunks) is unacceptable. I usually expect all my rice to get sauced as well and i only got a little dab of it as you can see. On a side note, the naan was very doughy as well and had no flavor.Its very inconsistent ordering here and it really depends on who is taking the order whether or not you get your moneys worth. The food is good usually i would just like more of it if im paying nearly 15 bucks for a combo #1. The vibes are cool though. read more

The owner here is incredibly sweet and once we had to wait super long for him to train the new guy on how to make the naan so he gave us some extra curry and naan to have since we finished our plate. Honestly used to come here pretty often because of the good food, variety, and affordable plates. I use to be able to get a plate with butter chicken, chicken curry, Chicken Tikka Masala, or even Goat Curry (along with Rice and Naan). On my most recent visit, they've started charging $2 extra just for goat curry in a combo plate and didn't even have the options of Chicken Curry or Butter chicken in a plate anymore (those have to be placed as a separate entree for around $17). Service was alright and got the food out pretty fast. Even with the short wait time, they let me sit at a table to wait and it was quite sticky. When I did get my food, it didn't even come with the Naan on a two item plate which was disappointing. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but they've taken a lot of variety out of the place and I'll probably be looking to try out some other places. read more

Honestly, the rice is the best thing. Over the weekend, ordered for pick up, the lentil daal jhaneko curry and chicken Tikka masala. My lentil was too salty and grainy. Also pretty spicy. The chicken Tikka tasted like tomato soup in a way and was kind of sweet. I've had better. Only the rice was super good, fragrant and flavored perfectly. They also didn't give us enough rice....hence why we were hungrier...I couldn't even order a combo because the staff made it complicated for me. So I gave up. I also said I wanted naan. I've been curious about this place for several years but had yet to go inside. I'm not very familiar with Indian cuisine, so I was reluctant to try it. Today was a different day. Not only did I walk into this establishment, but I walked out with some of the best food I've had in a while. Man, those flavors were popping! My wife is from Trinidad and some of their food is Indian inspired, so I have had a lot of curries, lamb, goat, etc. While eating this delicious meal, my wife couldn't help but dig in herself. Her tuna sandwich was long forgotten. The meats were tender, the flavors were popping, and the bread was unlike any bread I have had before. So very good.
