Good Mexican food and fun vibes. The restaurant is decorated very nice and so colorful. The elote was really good and full of flavor. The tostadas were good (2 small ones) and the birria quesadillas were tasty and big. The drinks are a little pricey and the service took a while. I would come back again to try other items from their menu! read more

This restuarant is located in the Falls, near the parking lot and the gym, so it's easily accessible after parking your car. There's an outdoor dining area. The menu has quite a lot of options for tacos, like over 15 of them. They aren't your average taco flavors; there are General Tso Cauliflower, Nashville Hot Chicken, Korean Fried Chicken, Philly Cheese Steak... They come one to each other, so it makes it easier you don't have to pick just one, and each taco is quite loaded. The flavors are quite good, and the crispy empanada is really delicious as well. read more

I was in town for a quick visit and wanted to catch up with an old friend who suggested we have dinner at the Naked Taco. She had never been to it but wanted to try it out. The reviews were not exactly promising, which normally would have steered me away, but I decided to go with the flow and see what happens. I am glad I did not suggest choosing a different restaurant because we did have a positive and enjoyable experience. If I am in the area again, I would definitely consider returning. I ordered the Elote off the cob as an appetizer and my friend ordered a shrimp appetizer. The shrimp was decent even though I am not a seafood fan. The Elote was very tasty and I appreciated that I was able to get it off the cob as I hate having to eat corn on the cob because it's just messy and tends to get in my teeth. For my main meal, I ordered a buffalo chicken taco and the Philly cheese taco. I fully expected to like the Philly cheese one best as I prefer steak over chicken but surprisingly, I preferred the buffalo chicken one. Both of them were great though, but I liked the flavor of the chicken a little better. My friend also ordered two tacos and a side of rice and beans, but I can't recall which kind of tacos she got. They had Pacifico on draft, which was a happy surprise for me. Service was decent. It wasn't stellar but it wasn't bad either. The server was nice enough, got our order right, and didn't pressure us to leave while we chatted over another round of drinks after dinner. The total bill was $94 before tip for two appetizers, four tacos, a side of rice and beans, and four drinks. Not a cheap night out but not totally unreasonable either. My husband and I go out to eat regularly and any place that we enjoy eating at is almost always going to run close to or just over $100 for the two of us, so this was well within that range. I don't mind as long as the food is good and the experience is positive. Since I thoroughly enjoyed Naked Taco and would return, I think it easily ranks a 4 out of 5 stars. Don't let the negative reviews dissuade you from trying it out for yourself. This is especially true when a place like this is relatively new and still working out the early kinks. Based on what I read in the reviews, it sounds like they just need to work at being more consistent with the food and service experience. Once they gain that consistency, they will likely be one of the more popular spots in the area and their reviews will improve in kind. read more

Naked Taco is one of my husbands favorite spots. We come here pretty often because of its convenient location next to LifeTime. Sometimes we come with a group of friends for drinks, other times with the family. I love chips.. my husband loves margaritas and mescalitas.. so it works out. If you're a vodka lover like me, it may not seem there's many drink options for you, but they do have a full bar. My favorite vodka drink here is their "mojito" with vodka.. and you can choose a flavor like strawberry to add as well. The menu is huge, with a plethora of options for all palettes and whatever you're in the mood for. Even their cheeseburgers are good (though with a Mexican twist). The tacos are small but entree portions are large, so if you're really hungry, I'd suggest you opt for a burrito instead of a few tacos. Kids meals are nicely portioned and have good options as well. What's hit or miss here is the service.. some days it's awful and other days it's good. Sitting at the bar tends to be a better bet if you're a small party and want good service. read more

What a great time!!!! My wife and I came during a weekday night for some dinner, it wasn't busy so everything came out with perfect time. The restaurant is beautiful loaded with Mexican decor, it invites you to want to stay a while. I had the quesadilla birria and I've said this before, I've always been on a quest to find the best in Miami, this one is up there!!!! So so good. I cannot recommend that plate enough (if you're into birria). My wife had the Carne Asada bowl and she loved it, raving that it was so fresh and yummy. For dessert we topped it off with a choco taco, it was good, but I wouldn't recommend as much. Overall, had a great time and if you're looking for some great Mexican food in a beautiful setting, this is the spot!! read more

If you absolutely cant decide go for the carne asada quesadilla. Huge portion and delicious. Although the buffalo chicken taco is the taco you didnt know you needed in your life. We sat at tables by the bar. Usually hubby's not a fan of high seats but these are super comfortable. The barrel tables have these awkward metal anchors that get in the way of your plates but its a nice seat and great view of the sports on the bar tvs. I ordered 3 individual tacos - buffalo chicken, philly and pork belly. The chicken was amazing. The philly was respectable but just ok. When I read pork belly I thought a fusion korean pork belly. My mistake, it was hard, dry pieces of chicharron. Technically pork belly but better description would've altered my choice. I ordered a side of rice and beans that arrived cold but our server Oscar made it right, right away. He's a gem. Super knowledgeable of the menu, professional and friendly. The decir is really interesting and there are lots of areas for large groups. read more

It's just your run of the mill fast casual Mexican spot. Drinks are ok, food is mid, prices aren't that great, but they do have a pretty good Cinco de Mayo block party. read more

Cute restaurant with fun vibe and Dia de Los Muertos decorations. Tried it out the other night after watch a movie at The Falls and had a good time. I can see that this would be fun for a date night or pre-gaming dinner with friends because they have really good drinks such as an Espresso Martini and a whole bar area. I ordered the Elote with Tajin - normally a dish I love but this tasted a bit weird. Next time I opt for the ones with mayo and cheeto dust. I had the salmon salad. The salmon was crunchy and grilled to perfection, the salad was just fine. They have a variety of tacos that you can order in a soft shell, hard shell, lettuce wrap or as a bowl. The waitresses all wear funny T-shirts and service was good! read more

It was my first time visiting naked taco and I surely did not expect it to turn out the way it did. I had low expectations but the tacos at this location were so yummy! I ordered the chicken Vallarta taco and the Baja fish taco. The tacos are about the size of an iPhone and they are not exaggerating when they say they are packed! They did not skimp out on the protein which made me very happy. The chicken Vallarta was my favorite of the two, the chicken was juicy and flavorful. We also had some guac and chips for the table and tried their chicharrones. The chicharrones were also surprisingly very delicious! They had great flavor and would melt in your mouth. I also got to try a bite of their steak quesadilla which was huge! The steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Our server was able to accommodate our large party and provide great recommendations. The restaurant seemed a bit empty but if they have a good crowd for brunch I definitely see myself coming back! read more

Good ambience and service, guacamole was excellent, as well as the fajitas. However, the place is very expensive for what it is, and when it comes to the pricing of their tacos, the pricing is almost offensive. At $7 each, the tacos are a terrible value -- for that you get a small taco with a few pieces of meat or whatever, some flour, sauce, and lettuce. You really need 3, and now you're looking at spending over $20 on some simple tacos. read more

As a frequent patron of Naked Taco, I'm extremely disappointed with how we were treated during our visit on Cinco de Mayo. We've regularly entered through the back, sat at the bar or outdoor tables, and been served without issue. But today's experience was unprofessional and disrespectful. We were a party of 6, including my 1-year-old child, and took a seat at an outdoor table as we've done before. Moments later, a young female host approached us rudely and said, "You guys can't sit here," without greeting or courtesy. When I explained we've always been able to walk in and sit, she snapped back, "Yeah, no--you need to see the host," maintaining an unfriendly tone the entire time. She led me inside and offered us seating in an open area--while it was raining--completely dismissing the fact that I had a toddler with me. She insisted, "We're completely booked and sold out--I don't know what to tell you." I requested to speak to a manager. Nicki, the manager, came over and stated, "I have millions of people who want to see the show tonight and have made reservations weeks in advance." I told her we've never needed a reservation or paid to sit. Her response was indifferent. The same host then chimed in again with attitude, saying, "Yeah, I told them that, but they didn't want to listen." I understand this is your "Super Bowl" night--but let's be honest, the restaurant is often quiet. Loyal, paying customers like us are the reason your doors stay open on regular nights. The way we were treated today was unacceptable and insulting. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend Naked Taco to anyone based on this experience. I strongly urge ownership to respond and address the way their staff treats guests. This is not how you handle customer service--and it's certainly not how you retain regular customers. read more

After Searching for a Nearby Restaurant Near an Event that we were going to we landed on Naked Taco. We had been to the one in Miami Beach not too long ago so we thought it would be a Good Choice.. Upon Arrival we were Greeted by the Outdoor Bartender sitting at the Outside Bar with Big Nice Breezy Fans Above. We Ordered a couple of On-Tap Beers which were not Served Very Cold. After trying to decided which Tacos we wanted which is a Bit Different Menu then the SB Location, we went with the Chicken Vallarta and the Gordo Pastor. The Presentation of Both Tacos were Served in a 3 Taco Serving Tray which was a Bit of a Setoff. All of the Toppings were on the Bottom of the Tacos as well which was Undesirable at Best. -Chicken Vallarta- Lime Crema was on the Bottom on the Flimsy Stale Tasting Flour Tortilla with the Mango Tasteless Salsa on the Side and the Chicken.. What was Extremely Commercial in such a way that could not be Consumed. -Gordo Pastor- Served on the same Flimsy Stale Flour Tortilla and SOAKED in the Pineapple BBQ Sauce. It was So Bad that this one was Such a Waste.. Both Tacos came with Cilantro but there was None Detected on either one. We left with the Majority of Our Tacos Left to be Trashed and Extra Disappointed with the Outcome of Absolutely Nothing after Visiting. Naked Taco has made a Bad Taste in Our Mouths.. read more

Food is good, not great Service is okay, not excellent Atmosphere is ok, not amazing Prices are ridiculous, not reasonable for what you get My first time here, and probably my last. My friend and I went for lunch. The bill was $90!?! For lunch?!? No, we didn't drink! I had a coffee! You can't charge $90 for tacos and think it's ok. It's not. That's not normal. I don't pay that on the beach, or in the Grove. So, I'm afraid this is going to be one more place that fails in this location. But I'm getting ahead of myself... My friend took me here for my birthday. I love Mexican food and I hadn't been here yet. The tacos are anywhere from $8-18 EACH! We decided to split the ceviche as an appetizer. It was not great. I've had much better ceviche just about everywhere else. Then we both order a lobster taco ($18 each), and I ordered a cauliflower taco ($8.50). She ordered a truffle hamburger taco ($9.50). The tacos were ok. Not the best I've had. For the prices, they should come with Mexican rice, and refried beans, or something! The server was good. My friend told me that the last time she had gone the service was horrible! So, I guess we were lucky. I won't be back. It's not worth it. read more

I ordered delivery and most of the items were absolutely delicious! I had the Elote on the cob which was so flavorful and the perfect size for two people to share as an appetizer. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken taco to try and it was also delicious and flavorful definitely worth the price flavor-wise. However it was very small. For my meal I go the single stuffed burrito which was HUGE! However it was stuffed with mostly rice and it was not great. The other ingredients were portioned so small that they didn't add any flavor. My husband had the Mexican Fried Rice which we both agreed it was amazing and one of the best fried rices in existence... yes, that's a big claim but we're standing by it lol. For dessert we had the fried donuts which again amazing! The only issue was the dipping sauces were way too watery. We will definitely order again to try more menu items! read more

Omg the porn cocktail was absolutely delish with a little hint of friskiness, lol. Bestie and I came here to start off the weekend right. Went straight to the bar inside (u know summers in Miami u melt) and enjoyed the amazing art work everywhere including the roof. We had small bites starting with chips and salsa that opened our appetites. We then tried 2 different tacos each. I had the cowboy steak (came with crispy onions) but my favorite was the americano which was a beef taco with cheddar jalapeno and Pico de gallo. It also comes with sour cream but I told them I could do without. Bestie had the baja fish and the tempura shrimp. I also chose a flour tortilla and she chose the soft corn tortilla. I like how they give you options for the tacos..so pick your shell and it keep ot moving. The menu offers the basics but all with a kick and some a fusion of flavors. It's all delish here and with plenty of options you'll need to come back for more. read more

Absolutely amazing ! I ordered at 10:30 before Naked taco was open via uber eats and then end up going to sleep . The bad thing is my Oder didn't have both of its components. I was uber exhausted so I didn't even check the bag before I went to sleep however when I woke up I noticed tacos were missing . As soon as I noticed I called the restaurant they look at my receipt and admit fault and asked me how I wanted to remedy the situation. They made me my tacos and I picked them up free of charges. I even got two free cokes with this pick up. Needless to say the service is amazing as well as the ambiance 20/10 , would recommend. read more

THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT! I was visiting for the week and ended getting naked twice. S/O to the server on Monday, my future wife, her service was above amazing. Sold the energy, ambiance, knowledge and ability to be personable sold the menu fasho, if you've been before, they've changed their menu. We ordered a bunch of food and I was devouring before getting pics so my bad. The 2nd time with Fabi and The manager with the blonde hair. Great service and food hit the spot once again. I would fasho slide thru at anytime by myself or with friends/family if I lived here. Bar area is nice both INSIDE & OUT! Nice patio area, enter and exit with ease. The 2 bars makes it 10x worth a few drinks when you pass by or while the family is shopping. Some items we ordered are the tomahawk steak, mango habanero marinated chiccarones, smash burger, cauliflower, general tso's tacos, butter chicken, goat cheese bites, ceviche tostadas, half-rack of the ribs and a lot more I've forgotten. So I found this place on IG and wanted to try for it for a few weeks now , finally had a chance to come with my family. Here is why I am rating it 3 stars: I felt that the food had no taste - I ordered the triple play fajitas - like how can you get that wrong in a Mexican themed decked out place ? Well , shrimp was rather gooey , chicken looked under cooked and the steak was rather dry. We also had margaritas that tasted like a bartender in training made it . The waitress was polite and informative since we have two kids, she made us aware they couldn't make tenders for the kids as the fryer was broken. The bill was 200 bucks for two entres and an appetizer .. the rest was over priced drinks. Sadly this is becoming a theme in miami and felt to me like a huge cash grabber second location from the south beach. One time is good for me, I wouldn't come back. read more

Tried out this new restaurant at the falls last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. Went on a Saturday for an early dinner and there was no wait. The restaurant was pretty full but it's so large there were plenty of available tables. We ordered queso as our appetizer and it was really good. The cheese was mild and had some seasoning on top. The chips it came with were good but could have gone a bit lighter with the salt. They were extremely salty. For our entrees we had the burrito and made it a chimichanga. It was delicious! Everything inside was really good and the burrito was really crispy. We also ordered the stacked cheesy crispy steak gordo. This wasn't our favorite. The steak was also really salty and the whole thing was a mess to eat. Wouldn't order that again. All in all we had a good experience. I'd go back again to try their margaritas and tacos. read more

I had heard a lot about Naked Taco since its opening. I hadn't gotten around to trying it out but finally made my way. Unfortunately, it fell extremely short. To start, the service was awful. It wasn't very busy when I went. I was basically trying not to choke while eating as I did not get a single refill and couldn't find a single person who worked there to give us attention. Not once did someone ask if we needed anything. We then got the check and the tip options were "20%, 25%, or 28%." If the service was outstanding I would have absolutely loved to leave a great tip. It was kind of ridiculous when we were only spoken to to take orders & take back the plates. The food was not good either. I ordered the chicken fajitas - cheesy style. I'm pretty sure the cheese was American cheese which was really gross. It was not authentic and there was no option for corn tortillas. The chicken was lacking flavor. It felt like it came out of the taco boxes you buy at the grocery store. After having 1, I could not stomach another. The place itself is really cute inside and out. They have fun music and beautiful art on the ceiling + cute neon signs. I wish the service & food would have matched that. Sadly, I do not plan on visiting again. read more

This place was pretty good. The food was better than expected. I had a mango salsa chicken taco and admittedly it was tasty, the salsa was a little chunky which isn't my favorite, but it was fine. I also ordered my meal without the lime crema that it comes with. My menu was a little dirty unfortunately, which is why I dropped the review to 3 stars. The portions however are large, but the prices on the menu for tacos are per taco. The service was satisfactory. The ambiance is nice, modern. It's located in an outdoor mall with multiple restaurant options and there's plenty of parking. There's outdoor and indoor seating. I would come here again, the food isn't bad at all. read more

Come with me to Naked Taco located at The Falls Shopping Mall. This was one of those instances where we didn't know what to eat, saw the menu looked good so we decided to just eat there. My friend wanted fries so we started with the Mexican Truffle Fries, they are topped with truffle oil, queso fresco, and cilantro. The Mexican fries were nice and crispy. For our tacos, my friend went with the Philly Cheese Steak on a soft shell and I went with Chicken Vallarta on a hard shell. The Philly Cheese Steak is made with shaved rib eye, caramelized onion, garlic aioli, and grilled cheese. The Chicken Vallarta is made with mango salsa, lime crema, and cilantro. We were told the tacos would be very loaded, but we were expecting it to be more than one. The taco was very loaded, but it was just one, had we known that we would have ordered more. The tacos were good, the mango on mine was fresh and had great flavor combined with the lime crema. My friend said hers was also good and was very loaded. Our waiter was nice, but not very attentive, leaving us unattended for long periods, while we noticed he would continuously check on the table behind us. I would return to Naked Taco, but it wouldn't be a first choice when I'm craving tacos. read more

This used to be one of my favorite Mexican spots for their larger than average tacos, delicious appetizers, and their take on the Crunchwrap. My favorite aspect of the menu was how creative the tacos were, like the Philly cheesesteak, smash burger, lamb shawarma, octopus, buffalo fried chicken, Korean fried chicken, etc. What's disappointing is that it seems they had a bit of a rebranding, at least when it comes to their menu. You can't order just one taco anymore, it has to come in a group of three of the same taco. You do have the option to mix and match, but it's more expensive to do so. The tacos are smaller, less creative, and lazily assembled compared to how they used to be. Yet they're more expensive now. Make it make sense. Before, I could get 3 different tacos for like $18. Now, it's $24. And on top of that, they got rid of the Crunchwrap which was a monster and so delicious and the "make it a three way" app that served you salsa, guac, and queso with your chips. Now you have to do it all separately which I'm sure is more expensive It's such a disappointment because I really loved this place and brought everyone here. Now it's not even worth it. I am giving this restaurant 4 stars over all but that score is just by the skin of their teeth. Nothing blue me away. The restaurant was decorated nicely, I loved the artwork and its colorful walls and painting. The ambiance was great with their live Dj Jean Sean he was smoking with his spinning, and that's what made the restaurant enjoyable to be in. On to the service, nothing and no one stood out to me. We sat as soon as we came in, our waitresses was good she took cair of us to what was needed. On to the food again nothing blew me away the ceviche was interesting  with its sweet tast but I can't say I would order it again. Main course were tacos one of grilled chicken and the other was battered the price wasn't bad for a total of 4 tacos $9.00 per plate but I would have added a small salad. I also would have like to see salsa and chips on the table made there way. Long and short of this, would we go back yes but just to try out the other items on the menu but we won't be returning any time soon. read more

First time trying Naked Taco on cinco de mayo and the food was nice. We got the three way chips which came with salads, guac and cheese dip. I think the cheese dip was great would order that bigger next time and slather it on all the food I get. As for the food we got a steak quesadilla which was ok, the cheese wasn't fully melted and not too much steak I would get something else next time instead however it was cinco de mayo and they were packed so maybe on a normal day would be better. As for the drinks tried the mango tequila drink it was a bit too sweet for my taste but I switched over to passion fruit margarita and that was much better! The service was rough in the sense we didn't see her as often and my drink came way after the appetizer but again it was cinco de mayo so I wouldn't have high expectations when they are slammed like that. Would certainly check it out again. The ambiance was very cool though! They had women dressed up walking around and taking pictures sugar skull style with sexy outfits really fun I would say! And outside there was a Dj with someone playing drums. Would certainly go again to try out more food options. read more

Came here for my father's birthday. The supreme nachos were plentiful for a group, could do a little more salt. I ordered the creamy, cheesy, chicken - I was expecting something unique but all it is was like a mix between a chicken parm and pollo a la Milanesa. Was not impressed by this. The tacos were thick and filling. The burritos were smaller than what I thought but was told they were also good by my family members. They came out and brought my dad churros with sauces dulce de leche, chocolate, and condensed milk. That was very good. Overall, probably need to give this place another try to give an updated review. read more
