There is a lady here that will butcher your nail-bed with her nails. She caused my cuticles to bleed bc she's trying to separate the powder that got stuck to the side of the nail from the nail cuticles. This can't be healthy. I believe her name was Tina. I paid twice for my nails to be done right. I came in needing a simple fill. I loved my shape and length. She made them very narrow and they broke off on the sides from being uneven dipped.I feel like they were trying to do their best and in the end did a great job. Just sad to have had to pay twice and go in four times within one week just for one set. read more

Terrible service, and my nails look like shit. You can tell the one thumb is crooked and looks like it needed filled already and it's only 4 days old. The other thumb nail broke the same day, so I went to a different salon to get it fixed and you can tell how much better it looks. I stopped going there a few years ago because they charged me one price for chrome nails, and when I went back to get filled they wanted to charge me $10 more and argued with me that I never paid the cheaper price the first time. My gym is right next to them so I thought I would give them another try and regret spending my time and money there. They are rude and unprofessional. read more

AWFUL doesn't even begin to describe my experience there. I was in desperate need of a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax when my boyfriend told me last minute we had an event to attend. Knowing I needed a quick fix I got on Yelp trying to find somewhere close by, I just moved here. Reading the reviews to Nailsmax I was so excited to try them out, now I am wishing I hadn't. Let me start by saying the first thing I told the lady who was doing my manicure was that I like to keep my nails long. Seconds after I finished that statement she cut my nails short as possible! I told told her that she cut the first one rather short and I did not care for it but she continued to carry on with whatever she thought was best. At this point I knew I probably wasn't going to be happy but tried to think positively until I just couldn't handle it anymore, that point came after she broke a nail while filing it and decided that she could cut it all the way down leaving no length what so ever. To make matters worse she commented on the fact that this same nail was so short as she painted them. Feeling beyond unhappy with my service at that point I decided at it would be safer to leave without having any other parts of me touched for fear my toes or eyebrows would end up in awful condition as well. I will NOT be returning and would urge new comers to this salon to either have a person recommend someone there or stay far far away. I'll continue my search for a new nail salon in Jupiter. Best pedi I've had in Jupiter and I've tried a lot of places. Clean, great massage chairs, friendly staff and a real nice massage with the pedi. Gave my daughter a really cute design as well. The only thing I would recommend is a menu of different pedicures available and a list of add on's available for an extra charge, like extra massage time or callus removal. A little bit more pricey than I'm used to in NY, but worth it. Overall an awesome experience and my search is over, found my new place in my new town! read more

Went to this nail salon on a friend's recommendation and I'm so glad I did. Even on a busy "prom Saturday" I walked in without an appointment and only had to wait a few minutes. My manicure and pedicure were both very enjoyable. My negative review is related to the children's services and inability for her staff to quote prices. I came here because of the excellent reviews and the fact that they have butterfly children's chairs. One note is that the children's chairs are separate from the adult chairs, so you can't sit in the same room as your child unless they sit in the adult section. I asked how much it cost for a child's pedicure and manicure and was quoted $25. They clarified that it was just a polish change and that she was so little that she had no cuticles that would be pushed back or anything. Of course she's only 6 so this is what I expected. I asked the tech to wait to polish my daughters nails until my pedicure was complete so that we could sit next to each other and have our nails painted together. When we sat down, they asked me if I wanted her to have water to soak her fingers in. I said yes. They soaked her nails for maybe 30 seconds and began to do her nails. She did even out her nails with a file. When I went to pay they charged me $30 for my daughter. I paid and then asked the tech how much it was for just a pedicure and he told me the price for both again was $25 but because she sat in a manicure chair and had water to soak in, it was an extra $5. Then I asked again for the price of the individual services and he said a pedi was $15 and a polish change was $6 and a mani for kids was $12. So doing the math, I asked why I was charged $9 more to sit in a chair. He said because she soaked her hands in water and she pushed her cuticles back. She was finished in less than 5 minutes, got no massage and honestly it was a kids polish change but okay no big deal. I felt odd because clearly the prices were not set and I was being charged whatever they felt like. My tech was very nice and said he didn't set the prices, that he just charged what the other tech told him her price was. He suggested I speak with the manager. He spoke to the tech and she started to massage my daughter after her nails were done. Very nicely I asked the manager what the prices were when I was leaving. She clearly was ready for me and said a child's pedicure and polish change is $25 and that if they sit in the manicure chair and soak their fingers it is $35 and that she sets the prices not the employees. Then she said her tech gave a $5 discount by charging me $30. She said she'd talk to her employee but they should have asked her. I was put off by her firmness. Another man walked up and told her to refund me the difference. I didn't want that. I actually really wanted to know the prices because I intended to bring my other daughter back in 2 days. I assured her my services were very pleasant and that I enjoyed myself, but when I was quoted one thing and asked to pay another and how everyone had different prices, it didn't feel very good. Not once did she smile or empathize or apologize with any sincerity. She was just annoyed. I told her I'd come since there were such excellent reviews for children but that I would not return because I wasn't treated with any respect. She said her prices were posted and I said great, does it say it costs $10 more to sit at a manicure chair? She said no. I looked at the menu and even if I had seen it, I would not have been able to anticipate that difference. Anyway, your mileage may vary with clear pricing here. There are plenty of places to go and this experience left a bad taste in my mouth. read more
