Another beautiful Dip Manicure by Amy at Sunshine Nails!

Amy & her wonderful staff have been doing my nails since she opened 15 years ago! Amy is so welcoming and a consummate perfectionist! The Salon is always updated and inviting , great pedicure massage chairs. Hannah gives great foot massages and Rosie a super pedicure. You've got to try Sunshine Nails--the compliments on your beautiful nails after these folks get done with you will be endless! Tell them Lucy sent you.

I called for an appointment and told them I wanted acrylic pink and white. Got there and they all were trying to talk me into the powder dip pink and white. I have had that in the past and I don't like it as much as the traditional pink and white. Another customer tried to explain to them what I wanted and then a worker came over and slammed a small water bottle and said - I should "calm down" and drink?????? The tech was upset that I wouldn't do the dip powder and she made a point to show me that she WAS still using the pink dip powder but she was making the paste and smushing it onto my nails. She was very rough and she burned my skin with the electric tool. It was so hot on my nails. She worked soooo quickly and was trying to get me finished to start on her next appointment, that was waiting. My nails look HORRIBLE- I will NEVER RETURN!

This was my first time coming here with my mom. Hannah did my moms pedicure and did a great job and was very friendly and paid great attention to detail. Amy did my dip full set and she was absolutely amazing. Every step of the way she made sure I liked the color, liked the shape, and liked the length. She made sure every detail was perfect and was not in a rush to get the next person in. She was very friendly. Would recommend everyone to come here. It was not too busy and they offered water upon arrival.

Just got my nails done yesterday and the dip powder literally just fell off my nail, super disappointing. Won't be back. Update: it's been 3 days since I got them done and all the dip powder has come off my nails.

Wow! I came to the salon as a walk in about a month ago, hoping someone could salvage my broken, worn, nails for a work trip. Amy scooped me up, and the next thing I knew she was doing a complete hand makeover. The results were fantastic. Clean, professional, and durable. I just went back today for the second time (yes, the first one lasted that long) and again I am thrilled with my results. I have found my nail "home" in Jupiter. Highly recommend (hesitantly because I want to save sweet, talented Amy all for myself!)

Sunshine nails is my favorite nail spot in the area! I live over 25 minutes away and would rather drive there than anywhere else. The staff is so accommodating and remember personal details about each of their customers and are so hospitable. Never have been disappointed

With others out there charging $20 for a full set, had I not seen Amy's amazing art work (nails) I may not have gone. The price for an initial full set is $45 plus a tip. With that said, a couple things I think, make it worth the price! Other businesses should take note!! 1. Amy treated me like a family member she just ran into, seriously, and I know this is genuine; I heard her yelling out names of incoming customers~ who does that today. 2. This chic knows nails, I've never seen someone so effortless freehand nails before- it was impressive to watch. 3. I know that any time I want to come in, she's always going to utilize her team, to make it happen- this women delegated like a CEO! I don't know her role within the co., but whomever's reading this, working in finance for 13yrs. she deserves 10% stake in the co., don't lose this one!

I am lost for words... don't be fooled by this place. I called ahead around 10:30 asking for liquid gel full set done by the owner. She asked me to come in at 1:00. I get there at 1 and don't get seen for 30 minutes. The lady comes out side to get me *not the owner* and sits me down in my chair. The 1st lady to work on my nails couldn't even take off my old liquid gel right. It took them 35 minutes! Then I show them the picture I want and explain I was liquid gel and the owen finally comes over to me. But just to convince not to liquid gel. Cause I'm sure they don't know how. I left with shirt ugly uneven nails I'm not happy about this and won't be returning. Also it was $50 insane

I really want this place to stay in business so I am writing this review but it is my favorite best kept secret. THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Not super busy which is a treat but they deserve recognition. Family run and such a pleasant ,relaxing experience as well as best manicure. I never paid for mani pedi's before as I felt they were never worth it but I am now addicted. read more

Everything was wonderful! We were going back and forth between where to go and ultimately ended up here and boy were we glad. Idk who I had for my pedicure but had Kim for my manicure. Both were amazing and relaxing. I've tried to stay away from nail salons but will occasionally still get a pedicure, just because of price. They weren't too bad for their prices. I paid $100 including tip so I was pleased. Whenever I'm back in town and me and my bestie need to get our nails done, we will be coming here! read more

Decided to give this nail salon a try as my go to nail salon colors were just not appearing as they were on the samples at all. Love the power dip nail manicures with Kim and Lee ( my Sister was with me ). Pedicures were done by other people. Unfortunately the pedicures only had a brief few min of massage and seems rushed, but The end result was good. the next 2 times I went I was very displeased. One person started my Pedicure and then Kim jumped in to do manicure while was in chair. I did not make an appointment to have both done at same time. Manicure was rushed and not great. 2 other appointments for Kim walked in and she was not even done with me yet. The last time I went in ( will be the last time I go ) 3 people worked on my nails. Kim was bouncing around between clients and she also had 2 people with appointments come in and she has not even started me . She rushed so much that she hurt me several times, and also came very close to cutting finger tip using a straight scissors to trim nail vs nail cutting scissors. Such a shame as the end result was good but the experience was awful. read more

I've been there 3 times & each time they increase the price for the same services. Amy actually increased my price by $5 even after getting her 2 referrals. I would not go to this salon, they are just looking to steal your money & they charge more then most. read more

Had a great experience at this salon! My friend and I came by on a whim and were greeted by the owner who is super friendly and warm (she kept checking on us throughout our appointments). Vana, my technician, was meticulous and did a beautiful job with my OPI dip manicure. She shaped my nails exactly how I liked them. My friend was also very happy with her pedicure. I wish I lived closer so I could make this my go to nail salon! read more

I have been to many and I mean many nail salons around Jupiter/Palm Beach Gardens and this is my favorite and forever nail salon! Everything is super clean and the staff is always so sweet and caring. Amy who I believe owns the salon and also does nails is beyond fantastic!! She always pays attention to detail and is very particular, she wants to make sure your nails are perfect and they always are! The price is also very good! Everyone was seated very closely together, staff and customers! There are screens, but not at every station and it was a bit chaotic with employees running around tending to 2+ customers at a time. Yes, everyone was wearing masks but don't think this was the safest place to be getting my nails done. I am fully vaccinated so I felt a little better, but I wouldn't recommend this place if you're being cautious with covid! Nails turned out ok, but not enough for me to be a return customer. Service was quick and the massage was less than 10 seconds. I tipped well only because I understand business may have been slow last year, but I will not be returning again. read more

I just moved here from California and needed a fill on my acrylics. I went here because of the ratings but don't be fooled... I made an appointment for 2:30 and showed up at 2:30. I waited 30 min before this girl came to to my nails. SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO DO ACRYLICS OR TAKE THEM OFF! She nicked my skin twice and I asked if she was new they said she is just taking off the first layer but she couldn't even do that. I told her to stop and I would rather wait. I waited another 35 minutes at this point my appointment was over an hour late and some girl with no experience fucked up my nails. I got up to leave not angrily or anything I just didn't really wanna wait anymore but they insisted I stayed. So someone finally starts on my nails and SHE DID NOT DO THE DESIGN I ASKED FOR HAHA after they TOLD ME they could do it "exactly like the photo" I was so bummed when I left I went and bought black polish and painted over. It's hasn't been that long and my nails are coming off. Ive had acrylics for 6 months straight and never had a nail come off before going to this place. It's just not worth it hope I can save someone else from going here. Haha the way this place treated me literally made me cry while I was there and that was embarrassing too. The girl did tell me she loved me so I feel kinda bad but you guys really did me dirty so. read more

I rarely ever write reviews but this nail salon is exceptional! My daughters and I always go anytime we are in town. The customer service is absolutely unmatched. They are very understanding and will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your experience. I've seen Lori and Amy many of the times that I have gone and they are both wonderful. I was in a pinch and had to get my nails done quickly for an event I had the next day. I went to my regular salon and they couldn't take me. I called Sunshine and they were happy to take my appointment for my nails and feet even though it was already 6. I told them I had a time constraint and I was able to receive an amazing pedicure and get my dip nails done at the same time, while in the pedicure chair, getting my massage. It was efficient and still relaxing. Lorie and Roe or Rosie were my techs and they did a great job! I will go back again. read more

My first time at this salon and I'm in LOVE!! The ladies working here are super sweet and are very attentive to detail. The dip powder came out beautifully and wasn't thick (an issue I've been having at a lot of the salons in Jupiter). I wish I discovered this little gem earlier because I've been going to the wrong place! Called tonight and was able to get an appointment immediately. The salon is very clean and everyone is friendly and polite. I got a manicure and brought in a picture of a triangle design which was executed perfectly. Start to finish I was probably there for 45 minutes which was great because it wasn't too long but it also didn't seem like she was rushing. I didn't get the names of my technicians but the older lady started my manicure, took off my old polish, and then the younger woman finished it and did the design. read more

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that they don't accept any payment besides cash. I don't carry cash, and didn't have a debit card on me. We don't live too far away so my husband brought some cash over but that was a pain. I looked back through the booking process as well as the confirmation email and I couldn't find where it was written that they only accept cash. I generally come prepared and would have done so if I'd known. We will definitely be back, we'll just be prepared with cash next time. Looking at other yelp reviews now, if I had done that before I would have realized that cash was needed.

I recently visited Sunshine Nails for a mother-daughter day to get manicures and pedicures together. This salon is tucked away in a quiet location, and I often forget it's there. However, since many nail salons close on Sundays during the off-season, I figured it was the perfect opportunity to give them another try. I called ahead and was told they were busy at that exact moment, but they made two reservations for us to come in about an hour later. Upon arrival, they were finishing up with some customers while we picked our colors. When I asked for the WiFi password, one of the staff members curtly told me, "It's the phone number, you called here, you can find it on your phone." I was taken aback by his tone, as that's not how you expect to be spoken to when you're seeking repeat business. My daughter decided just to have a manicure, so we sat down, and they started working on my nails. However, they finished my manicure, and my daughter was still just sitting there, waiting. The uneven filing job and the nude nail color left on my skin were disappointing, and I've included pictures so you can see what I mean. They then took me to the pedicure chair, and my daughter was still waiting for her manicure to start. I asked if someone was going to do her nails, and the woman working on me said she would once she was done with my pedicure. This completely defeated the purpose of making a reservation together. To make matters worse, several staff members were standing around the salon not working, and I couldn't understand why no one was doing my daughter's nails. I didn't want to spend an extra 30+ minutes waiting after I was done. The entire process left me confused and frustrated. To top it off, when I requested a gel French pedicure, the technician seemed confused, which left me regretting that decision too. Overall, this visit reminded me why I haven't made Sunshine Nails my go-to spot for nail services. I had hoped for a relaxing mother-daughter day, but unfortunately, this experience missed the mark. read more

I am not sure why this has so many positive reviews. I had gone hereabout a year ago and was pleased with the service. Last 2 visits were horrible. I had an appointment for both visits. First one when I arrived the Michele who I was suppose to have was already gone for the day, however I was not told that when I made my appointment. The technician they gave me had no idea what she was doing and had to keep asking the owner what to do. I decided to try it one more time, everyone has bad days. This last time was definitley the last!! had an appointment and when I arrived was sat down to soak off my nails, after 30 minutes of soaking I finally asked when I was going to be taken care of. meanwhile I was moved 2 different times while I soaked and they took walkins who they were servicing. finally they asked a technician who was on her way out to take off my soaked nails, she did so not very happy. I the n sat again waiting to be taken care of, it was not until I started to walk out that the owner took care of me herself. What should have been a 1 hour visit took from 11:15 to 2 pm UNACCEPTABLE read more

I usually go to another mail salon in Jupiter but my lady wasn't available and I really needed a dip and pedi. I called first thing and she told me to come right down. They took me right in started with the pedi I upgraded to a little more fluff and it was nice actually different they used fresh fruit and I have to say it was invigorating and refreshing on my feet and legs. I was happy with the pedi. Next was the nail dip, she sat me with a young man maybe that's Tommy? He did my nails and did a great job! The owner (i think that who she was) made sure I was happy with my services she was very pleasant and needed to be reassured I was happy with my service. She would like to see me back. This salon is by far the best in Florida! I've lived here for 12 years and have tried quite a lot of them and now will not go anywhere else! Amy is wonderful! She is a perfectionist and really cares about her clients. She listened to what I said and went above and beyond with the end result better than I could have imagined! The place is very clean and all the people are friendly. Henry has also worked on my nails and he is great, too! I absolutely love this nail salon. I found it by chance because it is located in an office park just off Indiantown rd. My first impression was a wow! Amy greeted me and went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. It's so clean and everyone is so accommodating. They were genuinely happy to have me as a customer. I had a cocktail spa pedicure from Tommy. I have to say, hands down, this was the best pedicure I've ever had. I have been receiving pedicures for many years but this was exceptional. One day I decided to try Sunshine Nails and I fell in love. It is such a beautiful spa and I was treated with such warmth and kindness that I knew I found my new spa. My mom and I found sunshine nails randomly and will never go anywhere else. Always satisfied but had to post and mention this in particular... One day I came in and Vana spent so much time and effort making sure I got what I asked for- which was more than I expected- she did this gorgeous pink and white ombré with glitter. And I barely had any nails to start. They were natural looking and filed thin when finished. I was beyond happy. And consistently I also always get a beautiful deep pink and white French pedicure from Rose which is always perfection. The location is small in the best way, relaxing, beautifully decorated, and they have all the colors you could possibly want. I just had a basic mani pedi combo, so I didn't try any complex services, but the services were exceptional and relaxing. The lady I had, I forgot her name, was even kind enough to help me carry all my things to the door so I wouldn't mess up my nails. I got there at about 6:30 (the iPhone maps app was not clear on where they are located... go around the roundabout!) and they sat me down right away. The basic pedicure is just delightful and if you want a little extra pampering don't hesitate to upgrade. The pedicurists are METICULOUS--no ragged edges, unpolished sides, etc. it was a real treat to have the soaking water hot the way I like it and to know that somebody went to the extra trouble of making sure the massage chair never switched off. Sunshine Nails is an excellent place if you want high quality nails for a very reasonable price. I chose Powder Dip nails, which "last longer and your nails will be healthier" than UV gel nails. At many other locations, such as the PBG mall, powder dip nails are quite expensive, running $45-$60. However, my nails only cost $30. Very nice staff, sadly Amy is on vacation, but my nail technician (Henry) explained the difference between different types of nails. They were a little hard to understand. I have been going to this salon before the current owners Took over. The staff is always very friendly and I regularly have manicure pedicure with the owner. The polish on my regular manicure stays nice and unblemished for such a long time with the products they use. The nail color they offer is always the latest color and style. You know your nail tech is a pro when she can get your natural nail beds to look pristine and shine without an ounce of polish. Tools face down in some type of reused mayonnaise jar with a tan, gummy substance stuck to the side with what appeared to be the dust from other people's toe jam embedded in it. I was gonna get a new set of nails? They filed off my old ones and my nail beds are so thin now there are reddish spots in them and they are a little painful. I made an excuse and walked out without new nails. It's gonna take a couple of months before I can get a new set now.
