Was very disappointed. Took grand daughters to get nail. We kept saying shorter but they lady wouldn't listen. When I finally said no shorter she acted like it was a big deal. Never again. I can't say enough positive things about the staff at this nail salon. A group of 12 of us were in town for a long weekend and 6 of us decided that pedicures sounded like a nice way to start our day. We called on Wednesday and were able to get appointments for 10am on Friday morning. They have a total of 6 pedicure stations so we had the whole place to ourselves. 3 in our group were guys and were having their very first pedicures. The techs made them feel comfortable and pampered. They have a variety of pedicures to choose from, our entire group opted for the Tropical except me, I had the Green Tea. We were all totally pampered and relaxed. They gave us these warm neck wraps which smelled amazing. The massage chairs were the perfect touch, not too much pressure. Our pedicures included scrub, lotion, oil, trim, polish, cuticles and a really nice hot paraffin wax and hot stones . We all left on cloud 9! read more

Consistent, reliable, efficient, polite... None of the chit-chat you get from many nail salons. I visit every few weeks for acrylics; every technician I've seen is equally proficient and none of them waste time with the chatter that I've so often dealt with elsewhere. I'm an introverted person, I don't like making small talk - I just want to get in and out, read my book while they're working, and leave it at that. And, best of all, I always leave satisfied with the results. They all listen to what I want and deliver exactly that. This salon could easily be transplanted to Los Angeles and fit right in with that city; they could be charging twice as much and deserve it. read more

Best pedicure I've ever had - visiting TC from Texas and went for a pedi with my sister at her fav nail salon. They brought us each a beautiful tray for our chosen pedicure treatment with a warm neck roll. Wonderful massage chairs. Very hygienic and clean. Super professional service. Can't say enough good things about our experience! Plus free WiFi. Will be back next time I visit TC! read more

Nail Tek saved the day from a recent disaster. My friend and I were unfortunately stranded an extra day in Michigan on a recent trip and to make the best of an unfortunate, thunderstorm induced situation, we decided to find the nearest nail salon and get mani/pedis. This, as it turns out, was a really good decision. The pedi chairs are a little on the old side, but the entire place was incredibly clean (a must for a nail salon, no one wants fungus). The teks (see what I did there?) are friendly, and the prices are excellent. $35 for a manicure and a pedicure? If I lived in town, I'd certainly come back. I only docked a star because I've noticed a couple of smudges/missed spots since leaving. read more

I stopped in for a gel manicure and a pedicure. They had a lot, almost too many, gel colors to choose from. Nothing struck my fancy. Started with the pedicure - toe nails were not cut or filed well AT ALL. The massage was mediocre at best and the hot stones she used at the end were WAY too hot. I brought my own polish and she got it all over my skin and missed the corners of my toe nails. I then was passed to another lady for my manicure. I decided to pass on the gel and just get a clear coat. None of my nails are even in length and I left with a hang nail. No cuticle oil used either. Hand massage lasted maybe 2 minutes. I paid $36. When I was handed the credit card slip I asked if I could leave a tip on my card and was told NO. I don't carry cash so it sucks for them. I will not be visiting this location again. read more

This was by far the worst manicure I have ever had! The male nail tech was very unfriendly! He made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him! While clipping my cuticles he pulled at them off rather than fully clipping them off, it was very uncomfortable. And when I asked to file a nail that I had broken a certain way he made it even worse. I asked to file it myself and the whole time he shook his head in disgust at what I was doing. He then proceeded to say something in his language to someone or under his breath. Mind you this was the only time he spoke at all. Everytime he would look up at me I tried smiling but he just looked at me in disgust. Now not only were all my nails jagged at the ends from his filing but his paint job was even worse! His coats were very sloppy and usual just one uneven brush. He globbed on the polish to when it dried you could see all the areas he did not bother to even out. He globbed on the top coat from left to right rather than up & down & again not fully painting the nails He never said thank you, just expected me to get out of his chair. I would have left from his first look at me and how poorly he treated me but my friend was treating me and I did not want to be rude to her. As my friend and I sat drying our nails she said her experience was the same and her nail tech also a male globbed on her polish leaving her thumb all messed up because he put on too much polish and not letting it dry in between coats.I do not ever recommend going here, EVER. Why pay money for a place to treat you so poorly when trying to give them business. The polish came/chipped off my nails only hours later and my cuticles are shredded. It hasn't even been 24hrs and my manicure looks 3wks old. If I were you I would go somewhere else. Somewhere that knows what they are doing and that actually care you are a paying customer. I got a gel no chip manicure, the lady who did it was very nice but she got the gel on my cuticles and after about a day and a half they started peeling from the cuticles and chipping at the tips. A gel manicure is suppose to last 2 weeks and this didn't even last 3 days... read more

Went in today for manicure with a gift certificate to redeem. They would not honor it!!!! First they said it was too old, but the expiration date is blank. When I pointed out the blank space, I was told they don't use those certificates anymore that is from the previous owner. Funny that I can't find any change of ownership on line...., needs some looking into! read more

For severeal years this USED to be a great place to get manis/fills/pedis! but the couple who owned the salon left town without telling anyone and it is now in the hands of 3 very young techs who don't have the skills or training of the previous owners. Without a personal investment in the business, don't expect the same level of service as before. My daughters and I wanted a nice girls afternoon. The people were very friendly, the place seemed clean. We asked for the manicure/pedicure for $35. She asked us at the desk if we wanted the "spa" pedicure. Since we didn't know what that was, we said no, but it turned out that they used some fragrance stuff and added more money to the bill! Be warned! Anyway, the guy that did my feet had to be nudged to go back and do my callouses. He had just brushed over them. My daughter's person did not even do her callouses. We opted to pay $40 a piece and get french nails on the hands and we were sorry we did that!!!! Mine started chipping that night! My daughters BOTH started chipping the next day! What a waste of money! They looked beautiful, but they must be using cheaper materials, because it SHOULD have lasted longer than a few hours!!! So sad! They are really nice people!!! I have been going to this salon for years and really enjoyed it, but Saturday, I had a terrible experience there with Jessica. For years I have had Bay do my nails. I called a couple of months ago and was told that Bay no longer worked there, so the man who answered gave me his wife, Jessica. She did an okay job. When I called for another appointment, thinking that Bay was no longer there (as I was told), I asked for Jessica again. When I walked in the door, Bay was back. So I said I would take either Jessica or Bay and wrote on the appointment form "Jessica or Bay." The place was busy but I had an appointment. Jessica ignored me and took someone in front of me. Then Bay took me. While sitting in the chair, Jessica started yelling at me in front of 3 other customers in the pedicure chairs, plus the other 3 people in the shop. How I had disrespected her and she would no longer take my reservations. I honestly thought she was kidding. She was not. She was very serious. I couldn't believe it. To humiliate me in front of other customers was so disrespectful. I certainly will NOT be going back there with my business. There are too many good salons in the area to be treated like that.
