Had an appointment set to get my nails done they had told me on the phone that they can do whatever design and had told me not to tell him what it was we can do whatever design when we get there and when i get there i showed him the design and he said no we can't do that i need stencil when the design was hand painted he proceeded to start laughing and rolling his eyes at me when i told him the design was hand painted and it doesn't require a stencil to do they were extremely rude from the start and i would not reccommend coming here if you want great customer service and feeling welcomed read more

Horrible service. My acrylic nails were uneven very thick and nothing about them seemed right. He refused to take them off and said he could not fix them. I have gone here many times over the years as well as my daughter but never again. read more

I called ask for an appointment at 3:15. I was asked if I could come at 3:45. I hesitated as I was trying to figure my schedule out and was told 3:15 would be fine. I arrived on time. I wanted 5 different Fall colors to go with the season I was rudely asked why so many colors. I sat in the chair ask for a specialty pedicure as that is when they normally ask and I was told no because I did not ask for that on the phone. Kevin (I believe that is his name) was rushed and must have been having a bad day. I said I could go somewhere else as I wanted to relax and enjoy my pedicure as my budget allows me to get one every 6 weeks. Good news I found another salon. i am bummed this happened!!! read more

Really solid nail spot just south of TC! I've been to almost every nail shop in the area but when my niece came over for Christmas with a very good dip manicure - I knew I had to try Tips and Toes. I also got a dip manicure ($40 plus tip) and it turned out really well. The place is tidy and the staff was friendly. Cash tips preferred. Easy strip mall parking lot. Friendly staff but hard to book an apt. They seem to do well with individual apts but the timing of a group was off. My 2 friends had good results. My personal technician made me bleed twice by getting too close to the skin with the buffer. It was painful few days waiting for that to heal. Overall, they're ok depending who you have. read more

I came in for a walk in they were not busy I wanted a pedicure and full set acrylic they did fine on my toes until an appointment came in then rushed me out my chair for someone else. Not the worst thing the dude cut into my heel and is now bleeding from the tool they used. And now I have to wait an hour plus to get my finger nails so we'll see if I wait for my nails or just leave but so far not a good experience.. update: now they refused me service on my fingers because I want a design they don't have time they said. read more

Tips and Toes is a gem in the woods! Called all over Traverse to try and get a pedi on the fly with no luck as every place was booked solid. Really?! The owners at Tips & Toes were extremely nice and super accommodating. Even after I accidentally broke a bottle of polish, I was told not to worry and to enjoy myself. Such humble folks. Their place is VERY clean and the Deluxe Lavendar pedi was a dream. The owner took her time with the massage and my toes came out fabulous. Love this place. read more

15 mins outside of downtown traverse city! Made a reservation for two pedis and got right in no wait. Safety measures in place and staff was super friendly and took time on massaging legs and feet. I am a long time customer for this nail salon.I suggested my daughter go get her nails done for Christmas.. She had shalack polish put on and it looked good for a couple days then started chipping off and one completely came off. I told her to go back up and I was sure they would redo them.Kevin told her he would for $25 .. that's what it cost her.. he would not stand behind his work..So very disappointing..
