Came home & washed dishes with gloves on....Thumb and ring fingers peeling, still wet underneath of the multiple uneven coats used.

I did recieve a refund from the Manager who made an exception since it was posted near the register that they don't give refunds, but will re-service the mistake. Still won't be going back, but they definitely understood why I was upset.

    Gel manicure

Very good and fast service. 53$ for gel manicure and regular pedicure. They take credit card for the service but cash for tip. I got a little piece of lint on my nail right after I walked out the door, and they were able to fix it for me in 5min.

Lumpy pinky nail due to too much clear coat over the uneven gem.

I have a regular salon that I go to and I haven't been here in years, but came here because from what I remembered they used to do a good job & I always left pleased. This time, that was NOT the case. My friend wanted a pedicure & I remembered they had nice chairs so I went with them. I asked for a fill in, which should be simple and not take too long. I was there for almost 2 hours. I asked for a V-French tip, and the man TuTu did not seem to understand how to do that and painted on a very messy regular tip. I didn't have time to guide him, so just accepted it and said fine. I wanted gems originally, but because there was no V I wanted to opt out but he said he would still do them. The gems were all different sizes and not even centered. The gel polish was lumpy and uneven due to the gems, and went over my cuticles. The shape in nails was inconsistent and disappointing. There was red smeared down my fingers & I had to scrub it off in the shower. I got cut twice. I could continue, but I think the photos get my point across. Would not recommend. And will definitely be staying at my regular salon.

    Very disappointing

I'm glad I read reviews beforehand because finding the spa is a bit tricky. The entrance is in the back of the building, very hole-in-the-wall style. You have to walk up the stairs and ring a doorbell to be let in. The woman who performed my service was very friendly and made sure to check in with me throughout, especially about water temperature and pressure, which I appreciated. The head spa experience itself was nice and relaxing, and the facial was okay as well. However, once my hair fully dried, it was quite greasy at the roots. Personally, my hair felt similar to my "day 3 of no hair washing and using dry shampoo" type hair. As for the facial, my skin ended up feeling dry afterward with some peeling, even though I noted on the intake form that I have dry, sensitive skin and that my skin goals were hydration. Overall, the experience was interesting, but I feel like the spa missed the mark a bit. It was a decent first experience not knowing what to expect at a head spa, but I would imagine at the very least, my hair would look/feel clean.

There are great products for sale as well. I came super stressed and emotional after my divorce was final that day. The actual spa room was so calming and beautiful. She is gifted beyond…read moremeasure, deeply talented and passionate about hair and using the highest quality green and organic products. I'm a tough customer to please and I first saw Serena at a different salon about 8 months ago for a gentle hombré look. I had tiny blue highlights put in my hair within the last 2 years but hadn't had anything drastic in easily 5 years so I was initially nervous about coloring a big chunk of my hair but she made me feel at ease with her kind, calm and warm demeanor. She did an amazing job and I was hooked. In fact I loved the color so much, I went back later that week and committed to a full hombré. It was gorgeous. She was so patient too, I remember I showed up super late and she squeezed me in anyway. Since then, Serena has started her own beautiful brand with her own space and I couldn't be more happy or excited to be her loyal client. Her new location is warm and tranquil. She has excellent taste in music and keeps her groovy tunes flowing. Her banter is insightful, kind and wise. The salon smells lovely, not even a hint of chemical smell. In the shampoo room, there are incense sticks burning and relaxing spa music playing. Not to mention her assistant Bree gives a great shampoo. Bree is also a licensed massage therapist, she's warm and professional. I was one of Serena's first clients in her location. Once I was ready to change up my hombré look, I went for an all over lighter color and some lighter highlights mixed in. I showed her pictures and she asked me lots of questions. She pulled out her hair color samples and carefully matched my description. Despite the fact that Serena put bleach in my hair, my scalp never burned and I never smelled anything gross. She mixed Oleoplex in so my hair wouldn't get very damaged and the color turned out beautiful. Every product she uses is of the highest quality and smells incredible. Even though they are pricey, they are well worth the splurge. I recently returned a few weeks ago to get some more highlights and didn't realize I had originally only scheduled a hair cut. Serena being the ever accommodating gem that she is, gave me a great dry cut and did the highlights anyway, she didn't seem fazed at all when I said I wanted highlights. She explained that i would have to leave with wet hair so that she would have time for everything and I was more than ok with that. In the end, I actually was able to get under the dryer for a bit anyway and the highlights looked great once I got home and dried my hair completely! I appreciate so much that she always does whatever she can to make sure her customer is happy, like sincerely, she goes above and beyond. I restocked on some curl cream and bought some new conditioner on that visit as well. The next day I noticed my roots were showing a bit, so I called her to see if she could touch them up. She was more than happy to fit me in the next day and on the day of the appointment explained that she had simply layered color over my existing highlights so the root growth was more obvious since the color was lighter. I appreciated the explanation and again she just goes about explaining things so clearly and kindly. She even threw in a few more complimentary highlights to make sure everything was blended. When I say Serena is talented I mean it. She is deeply committed to providing the best and highest quality service and ensuring customers are 100% happy. To top it all off, my hair has literally never been or looked healthier. My friends have commented on how luxurious and healthy my hair looks and when I look in the mirror I see so much less damage, split ends and frizz. How?! How does she make hair that has been bleached and dyed look healthier?! (Obviously, she's a genius). For context, I have big, semi course, thick as a horse's mane wavy hair. I'm of Mexican descent and my hair is NOT EASY. It's not ugly hair by any means...but it's tricky and I've had some awful stuff done to it by previous stylists who didn't understand how to work with my texture. I'm impressed at how knowledgeable she was about working with textured hair like mine. She understand the needs of my hair type down to how to color, cut, style and maintain it. The products Serena recommends are wonderful. I'm especially crazy about the curling cream. I've repurchased it twice now and won't use anything else in my hair. It tames my frizz, smells amazing and gives me natural looking shiny waves. She strictly adheres to organic, environmentally friendly products. I play in a band and it's important to me to keep up appearances. My hair is an extension of my personality, my essence...my whole being! I take hair care seriously since my hair has truly become part of my identity. You will find your lifetime stylist in Serena. If she ever moves I will follow her. She is celebrity stylist caliber, hand over my heart.

She's got great style and an eye for her art. She also did my hair for my wedding and I got more compliments on it that I lost count. I took a plunge to get bangs - haven't had them since I was 9! - because I wanted a change, but also that I trusted Serena to do it well. And she did! They look great and she offers free touchups which is more than appreciated. So excited for her to have her own place! Its easy to get to - right off the main street in Catonsville - and the atmosphere in the salon is great. Calming with candles and music that puts you in a great mood. Its super clean and uberposh.

T Nail Lounge stood out to me based on several reviews. When I walked in, I was greeted by a quiet and clean environment. Mabel welcomed me and asked me to choose a color. Mabel and I chatted as if we had known each other forever, and I truly enjoyed my time with her. She was sweet and kind and even offered some recommendations for great places in the area where I could spend time while waiting for my son to finish camp. I will definitely return to T Nail Lounge whenever I'm in the Catonsville area.
