Nails Plus has been my go to salon for a while now! It is clean and beautiful, offers really great services. The owner's husband does a great chair massage. I generally get pedicure's there done by Gigi and she is so attentive and does an excellent job. The salon is pricier compared to others in the area but you do get really good service! read more

alittle late with my review but as they say better late then never! I had a full set of gel nails done by a gentleman I guess he was the owner??? It was only him and a women doing nails..... the rest of the girls were doing pedicures. I felt like he did not have much experience to be honest with you... after putting the set on and filing and putting gel on i noticed he skipped a few steps... 1. he never used the purple square buffer prior to putting gel polish on, which i've never ever seen it not be used. 2. never cut my cuticles which also he did not do, and 3 never put the clear base gel polish on prior to the two coats of gel polish.... three steps I've always had done by anyone doing a new gel set or a fill in... I didn't say anything but hopefully he will read this and know that it was noticed and if I'm noticing these three small steps he missed i'm sure others are too... I didn't want to embarrass him in front of the other women but in my opinion those are steps they are important and he should not skip these steps ever!!!! its little things like this that will make him lose customers including myself especially when I moved into town a few months ago and it's close to my house.. idk if i will return bc of this ! its to bad bc the place is clean the people are friendly their prices are the same as others but the service was not what I am used to. read more

This was one of my favorite nail salons in Franklin Lakes. Sadly, everything changed with the new owners. They seem to forget that all their business came from the previous owner. The wife presents herself as the owner, but the husband is in charge and chauvinistic. They took one of my appointments and then he scolded me to make an appointment earlier next time then was grabbing my hands very roughly. Chauvinistic He's on top of everything hanging over everyone. They certainly know how to write great reviews about themselves. If you notice, they mention their names in every single one. Gigi always the best with manicure and pedicures, I'll miss her. Although the quality of manicures and pedicures is good, it is nearly impossible to get an appointment here. I've called the day before and they would tell me the entire following day is full. This happened on at least three occasions and is very frustrating. Will be choosing other salons in the area which are priced lower and are more flexible with appointments. read more

What a great place! It is my second time going to Nails Plus and I have been nothing but impressed. Gigi did my pedicure and she is gentle, nice, and neat. Rachel did my nails and she is meticulous! She was able to fix the shape of my nails from a previous place with no problem. She has great technique and can do delicate designs. I received a gel manicure and pedicure at this establishment a week and a half ago as a first time customer. I previously had not gotten my nails done for a few months, and due to a special occasion finally decided I would. Unfortunately choosing this establishment was the WORST decision I had made as it turns out. Due to their evidently, LACK OF SANITARY CONDITIONS, I had developed for the first time ever in my life a nail infection on my pinky nail. As soon as I recognized it today, I went in, hoping at the VERY LEAST, the owner would show some respect and take responsibility for what had happened. Instead, the owner shifted blame to me saying, "I don't know what you did the past week", crossed her arms, and quickly handed me $40 cash (did not even cover the full gel manicure I paid for) all the while sitting back down staring at her phone. I was not only embarrassed and astonished, but I was mortified at the lack of responsibility and human compassion this woman lacked. As I previously said, I had not gotten my nails done in MONTHS prior, had no polish on me prior to going here, and did NOT have this prior. The evidence is clear enough. I do NOT recommend this nail salon. Readers, beware and stay far away. read more

I came here for the first time today & couldn't be happier with my experience! There was one other woman there when I arrived (around 2pm) so they took me immediately. I got a gel spa pedicure & gel manicure. The pedicure was AMAZING. Judy worked on me - such a sweet woman with a great eye for detail. She took her time, and the finished product shows that. The spa pedicure came with a 10 minute massage. I decided to time it myself to make sure I was getting my money's worth, as it made me nervous when she didn't take out a timer herself, but it ended up exceeding 10 minutes (12:30 to be exact ). My gel manicure was equally as great - another woman did it, but I don't remember her name. I asked for a layer of structure gel to be applied first as I have really brittle nails and she was more than happy to accommodate this! Although an extra charge, I was happy she told me up front. She also took her time, and did a fabulous job. All together, I was there for 2 hours. If you like to be in and out - this may not be the place for you. However, if you have some extra time or decide to go on a lazy Sunday, I'm sure you will enjoy yourself. Quiet, clean, and a great color selection! If you like to match your nails to your toes with gel/regular polish, they will let you know which colors you are able to choose from. I have been coming here regularly for months now and cannot say enough good about it. Every time I come in they remember me by name and the employees really make you feel so welcome. More importantly my nails always come out perfect and last a long time. The gels I get always last for weeks without chipping and they give the best massages whenever I get a pedicure. Added bonus they always have a great selection of colors for regular and gel manicures. I haven't gotten any of the facials or skincare but whenever I'm here people are always talking about them and how great they are so definitely something I will look into for the future. read more

I can't say enough wonderful things about this business! The people there are welcoming and super competent. They give a long lasting gel manicure that usually needs to be redone only when the nails grow out. Hardly ever have a problem with chipping. They massage your hands and shoulders too. With a pedicure they will give you a foot and leg massage. I go every three weeks or so. I've gone to my daughter's favorite salon in Oakland. This salon beats them hands down. read more
