This is actually the second time that I have visited this salon I only went because my daughter goes there. I went like two weeks ago and I was very satisfied with Alex's performance so I decided to go back and get another pedicure even though it is five dollars more than my usual place but it is closer. This place is always busy but they have a lot of workers to keep up with the volume and they are very polite. Last time she suggested that I get my eyebrows waxed and I know that they desperately needed done but waxing make my eyes water and I and such a big baby so I did not get them done. Also last time I could not pick a color so I went through all.the color wheels before I picked a color so this time I told her to pick a color for me. Alex decided to pick a pink for me and gave me some twinkle twinkle and gave me a spider for Halloween even though I will.more than likely will be back before then. I got my eyebrows waxed this time and I barely even felt it the only thing that I did not like about that is that they do it in front of everybody. I am glad that I am not a screamer. read more

I was referred to this place, called for an appointment for an acrylic fancy design set with their best girl, they told me 3. I come in the girl asks if there's anyone to do acrylics, then obviously annoyed, starts my nails herself. She used a clipper to cut down my nails, (instead of filing them down) splintering and cracking the set. There was gel left on my fingers and acrylic powder under the nails she didn't clean off saying "it will come off in the shower". I did not go for a design because I had 0 faith in this nail tec after seeing her work. Its been 5 days, my nail she replaced is lifting already and all the polish is chipped. Just because I asked this lady to cut a bit of my eyebrows she got mad and started telling me that next time I'll should go somewhere else because I always got something to say about my eyebrows. First of all I'm there trying to get a service you provide for a certain price. Me as a customer have the right to ask for a well done service since I'm paying for. Second, if you don't like when a customer ask you to do something right then you shouldn't get upset. Third, you might need some manner and customer service lessons because this place has none. Very upset with the dipset I got today. They were very busy and I could tell she was rushing to finish as soon as another client was waiting on her to finish. I noticed they were clumpy but I thought she would fix them. I couldn't stay to get them redone because I had to leave. I understand I could have said something at the time but 1. I felt bad cause she was polite and 2. I didn't have time to stay another hour and a half. If they're going to sit clients then they should atleast give them the proper service they're paying for. Absolutely do not recommend this place. The lady wanted to rip of the precious nails I had on she didn't want to take the time to soak it off. After I asked if that's the way they take them off she got angry brought a bowl and let me soak them off. I asked to see the colors they had and she gave me a piece of paper with maybe 10 different colors and said that was all I could pick from. She did not know how to do any of the 4 different designs I showed her. After all of that my nails now have air bubbles in them and are the wrong shape. I really liked the way they did both my mails and my pedicure, the only thing I didn't like was that they sit there and speak their language literally staring at you making you feel like they're talking about you. Then they just start laughing. I just think that is rude. I didn't have to wait very long but then again I went like at 3:30, so I don't know if it had anything to do with it. read more

Stay away!!! I took my boyfriend to get his first pedicure and we both ended up with green snot coming out of our big toes. Looks like staph. No symptoms prior to the nail salon and it all started with a red and sore big toe. Gross!! I have been getting my nails done on and off since I was 15 years old and I've never gotten an infection from any of the numerous places I've been to across the country. So, ew on you Nail Perfection and your obviously unsanitized supplies and work spaces. They also advertise children's nails and toes and there was a little girl two seats down from me. Scary! Hide yo kids! Hide yo wife! If I hadn't gotten "couple's staph infections" from the place, I would've rated 3 stars. Rushed service and they are obnoxious with the power sell for the higher priced packages. No you want $40. It smell nice! Free Staph included! What a sham. They advertise one price and then charge you another and then act like it's a language-based miscommunication. That's nothing new at the nail salon, but it's another addition to the list of reasons why I will never be returning. If you hate your mother-in-law take her here. ****BUYER BEWARE**** (((Read to the bottom))) I have never given a negative review in my entire life, but I feel it is my responsibility to help steer someone else away from the same unsanitary, unsatisfactory and uncomfortable experience that I had faced. I am new to the Norman area and had never been to this salon until a friend's mom was visiting and they invited me to join their mani/pedi appointment. Granted, my friend had stated she has been going to this salon for several months and had always had a great experience, although her boyfriend has strongly suggested she find another salon. I was offered the pedicure to begin, chose the "Deluxe" option, and began my pedicure by sticking my feet in the tub of cold water. When asked if the temperature was alright, I politely mentioned it was pretty cold and I prefer it to be significantly hot. The technician was able to get it to reach "luke warm". Pressing forward, the standard polish removal and pedicure process seemed to be going very smoothly, until I noticed the technicians at this salon use the "cheese grater" style pedi-files instead of a pumice stone, or other safe and sanitary means of buffing. She began scrubbing away and I immediately became nervous due to the amount of force being used, and she cut both of my heels in multiple places. After I jolted my foot back for the third time, ready to exclaim how upset I was about to become, she took notice and asked if she was hurting me. I responded with a polite "yes" and asked to stop the foot file. I did not receive any part of the calf/foot massage, which I didn't realize until later, and was finished before both of the ladies included in my party-even after sitting down 10 minutes later than they did for their STANDARD pedicures. Yes, I should have paid more attention to that at the time, but I was more preoccupied with finishing the manicure service for the wedding I was attending later in the week to even be bothered with mentioning the abbreviated butchered pedicure. That evening I noticed a small pain in my heel, only to look down and notice a small WART developing on one of the abrasions I had sustained from the barbaric foot filing! Do I need to even continue this review? Let us continue anyway.. I was then seated for a manicure with gel polish, and was assigned a different technician-one who speaks zero English. You can imagine my confusion when I was asked multiple times if I wanted a "full set" when I repeated "manicure with gel polish". Well, maybe it was the language barrier, but again I endured an abbreviated service which did not include clipping of my cuticles, but DID include painting the gel over them. Anyone who has had gel polish applied knows what happens if it does not adhere properly to your NAIL and you run your hands in warm water (like taking a shower...). Needless to say, the gel on all ten fingernails was noticeably peeling off within 72 hours of the service, and I could not be more irritated. If this was any other salon I have been to, I might call and try to discuss my misfortune with the owner, but this was not the case as no one could understand me when I called, and vice versa. I had to leave for NY within 2 days of the services and did not want to chance butchering anymore of my appendages, so I took my discontent to Yelp. I understand that there are probably plenty of people who see someone regularly at this salon and are more than happy with the level of service they receive, as I'm sure what I experienced is not the "norm". However, because of what I experienced in a single visit I feel it is my duty to share this unfortunate event and hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else. Either that, or a client of this salon can read this review to a staff member and they may be able to update their protocol and prevent spreading any other unwanted and unnecessary diseases. read more

I have visited this nail salon for years. I love Cindy & everyone is very nice. I've never had a bad experience until today. I came in wanting a pedicure with gel black tips. I was going to do the deluxe but decided not to because of the cost. The lady who was doing my pedicure told me I could do the basic pedicure with gel tips & it would be $33, $21 pedi it's, $12 gel tips, so I said ok. I also wanted my eyebrows done which was $7. When everything was finished she told me $42. I said no $40 and she told me it was $35 for my pedicure. Yes it's just $2 but I wanted her to explain to me where the extra $2 came from, she couldn't. Another person came in during my pedicure & wanted just gel polish. The lady told her $12. Then after told her $18. I feel that they are just making up prices to try & make more money for themselves. Again I've never had any problems like this here until today. I don't trust anyone else to do my eyebrows so I will continue to go here for that, but I will not be going back for anything else. read more

I was looking for a nail salon near my work today, and this one received decent reviews, so I thought I'd check it out. I had a little over an hour until I had to be somewhere else and told the ladies at the salon that I wanted to get a gel manicure and pedicure if possible. They said they could do it and got me right back to a pedicure chair. I loved all of the color options they had available in both gel and regular polish. One lady got started on my feet and another on my nails. They were both friendly and genuinely cared about my comfort - always asking if it felt okay. They finished up in the time frame I needed and their prices were good. I was happy with my service at the time but looking at my nails later tonight I'm noticing that they weren't done so well. The polish looks good but my cuticles on my hands were over-trimmed and look raw now. My feet also feel raw from the dead skin (and possibly healthy skin too) being taken off too hard. I probably won't return again, but I was happy with the proximity to my work and the timeliness they had to finish my nails. read more
