I'm so sick of these businesses taking their customers for granted It's a shame you can't even inform the nail tech (Kim) of how you want your nails without her getting upset and deflecting the fact that her service isn't up to par! If you can't perform the service the way the customer wants it be honest and let the customer know instead of doing a bad job and once the customer makes mention of that you begin raising your voice and snatching the customer's foot/hands. Instead Have some integrity everything isn't about money when it comes to you providing service. I've been going to Kim now for almost a year and a half and she just made me feel like this for the third time today and I finally told her about her behavior. Needless to say I will not be going back. I gave her the benefit of the doubt even after reading bad reviews from disappointed customers now I see. She has bad energy on several occasions but I chose to show her some grace. Lesson of today go with your instincts, character and address issues promptly! I been going here for the past year. I went about 2 months and Theresa was busy so I had my nails done elsewhere. Now everytime I go she never has time to do my nails!!! Today I asked her since you open on Sunday Can I come early or make an appointment. She said doesn't make appts do I told her I would come early on Sunday said she has customer coming early so I said I can wait , told me her customer has appts, I told her " you just told me you don't make appt"?, she lied!! She pissed off I went somewhere else!! REALLY THERESA GROW UP!! And for you ladies to do pedicures there they don't do cream on your legs they put petroleum jelly never heard of that before!! I called and asked for an acrylic full set . They said they only do it with no chip polish... no kidding . I said okay that's fine I won't do a color . I get to the shop and they have a whole display of regular nail polish colors and I pick one . I do not want no chip on my hands the nail tech refused to polish my nails she got kinda close to my face moving her head back and forth and explained "I told you we don't paint regular polish " and she mocked me . Very very mean staff, no personality. Did not care about the care of my nails . Do not go here . Take your hard earned money somewhere else . The best part of this story is I have been doing nails for 7 years and I am off work due to surgery . As a treat, I wanted to pamper me for once ! Now I see why the ratings are so poor. I normally come in when it's time for a fresh no-chip pedicure (I get them once every 3 weeks). I rarely get manicures & the last time I got one from here, I remembered why I like to do them myself. I was there for 2 hrs for a polish change and a nail fix. I had acrylic added to my big toe for length but the tech's application was sloppy. The nail is bulging on the side, which means that it's going to break under the slightest amount of pressure. I'm annoyed because the tech had to apply THREE TOPCOATS (and the finish is STILL dull) and the tech made the conscious decision to leave the bulging acrylic on my toe. Because the tech decided to try to mask the problem instead of properly fixing it, I won't be returning. Seeing how I was already there for 2 hrs, I didn't stick around to ask them to fix the mistakes....again. I just won't return. read more

They deserve zero stars for starters. This place is unprofessional and does a terrible job holding accountability. I got my nails and toes done for $50 NO TIP on a Thursday. I went out of town on Friday and my nail broke on Saturday. I literally do the same things so I'm furious as to why my nail is already broken and the nails are short. About 89% of my toe nail polish is already off. I called them the entire time and they were out of town so no one answered the phone! I get back in town and no one still answered the phone. I call today and this lady is trying to tell me that nails last a week. Do not insult my intelligence because I've been to them several times! My nails and toes should NEVER look like this. I'm furious. I'm going to get it redone today. Or want my money back! read more

I went to this place on a Saturday afternoon for a mani/pedi. I don't know the name of the lady that did my nails, but she was the only Non-Asian person working there. I was very satisfied with her service! She did a great job on my nails and feet and she was very nice. We chatted while she did my manicure. It was like chatting with a girlfriend while you got your nails done! She was very helpful, too! read more

I have yet to get my nails done here but eyebrows here is a plus! I will only ask for Sue. She is simply amazing! I have very thin and skimpy eyebrows so they are very very hard to shape. I have had 4 other places try to "shape" them and every time I am left with a lop sided mess! Sue is the ONLY person in the world I will let touch my eyebrows at this point. I was a customer at Nails Obession under old owner and she was great and so was her employees. The new people in the shop they are so unprofessional from the manger on staff to the employees. There is one employee who sits right at the door. The entire time she is working on your nails she is constantly on her cell phone and she does a horrible job overall. I got a pedicure and the polish was chipping off the next day. I went back and spoke with the manager and she just about called me a lie and got upset because I request to have my toes done over again. And after that I will go back and the manger would always say all techs were busy but yet the place was empty and I called that to her attention and she would they will be busy in a few minutes . I went back about 3 months straight and she will say the same thing. I will not recommend any one to this pace nor will I go back there read more

Horrible!!! Worst nail experience of my life. I went in for a gel french mani. I always get gel and I know how it feels. It looks like the lady just used regular nail polish and had me put my hands under the light. The polish is coming off so easily. It's thin clear polish and it stared coming off the next day. Also, 3rd day in the white tips were already chipping. She didn't even cut my cuticles. They are overpriced and I'm never going back. I'm new to MD and this place definitely left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

Terrible! Their wait time was absolutely ridiculous. They had me there for three hours and even attended people that came in after me. The man doing my nails also didn't even know how to shape the acrylics properly after I specifically told him, and showed him a picture. Also they're rude and basically kick you out while your nails are drying! Wouldn't recommend at all. Terrible service. & if you want your eyebrows done you can go to Ann's Beauty Salon on Wolf, she does them better and they're two dollars less! read more

When I tell you they are the most unprofessional people I have ever met! Let me tell you I have had the worst experience! Yesterday was my second day there for myself l.. The 1st time whoever did my nails did alright but not good enough to the point where I would be a consistent customer.. My second time which was yesterday 3/26/16 was terrible! I walked in the lady doing eyebrows I believe her name was due didn't even acknowledge me and I was standing directly in front of her at the reception desk This hoe looked past me and greeted the customer behind me (strike one) 2. The man who laid my acrylic had no idea what he was doing! My acrylic was all over my cuticles 2ndly he didn't know how to take off a no-chip and he kept cutting my cuticles... If that wasn't the least of my worries! Then this fool kept moving me to different stations I was blew by all of that alone! Last but not least I seen he could not shape nails like most Asians can not shape nails not all but most CAN NOT& he definitely couldn't shape or lay acrylic to save his fucking life! I was just completely over it all because I was there too fucking long for something so simple that takes an hour at the most! The owner insisted on fixing it and still fucked up because my nails on my right hand was crooked as fuck and she couldn't do the ballerina shape to save her life! & insisted I pay 20 Bitch where? After you and your employee cut the fuck out of my cuticles and kept lying saying they look beautiful long story short DO NOT GO HERE! They have poor customer service skills! They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE! & obviously indenial! I hope this business burn! & yes I'm just that piss! Is why I'm cursing. They really are horrible!
