I have been here a few times, to get a new gel set as well as refills, manicure and removal. I've been helped by a different person each time which was fine as I wanted to see what service everyone had to offer. My main issue is there is always a little something off with my manicures here, the attention to detail is just not quite right. I feel like they were trying to get me in and out as soon as possible. I will say they were very good at checking the pictures I brought and helping with color selection and being very careful to cut to the length I wanted my nails but the resulting execution was just not there. When I also came to get my nails removed, an older lady was so impatient and sloppy she left so much gel on. I did have to return to get a broken nail fixed and the person that helped me then did a great job removing all the remaining gel. She no longer works there however :( so I will not be returning here. Still trying to find a good nail place in the Milton/Halton area that I will want to return to. read more

Ignore the old reviews!! I recently moved to Milton and so happy I found this place. Fast, efficient and friendly service. I got my nails done by Mary and she's talented - highly recommended. This nail salon is absolutely horrendous, from the way they do nails to how they treat you, a paying customer. I went in there last week, for an appointment I made almost two weeks in advance, and what I got couldn't possibly be farther from what I asked. To begin with, when the lady began doing my nails and started to ask me what length I wanted, she cut it without even consulting me if that was the length I wanted. Which really frustrated me, but I ignored it because I thought that the nail work itself would compensate for the length. Little did I know, that was only the beginning. Then, when she began putting the nail polish colour on, it was a pink when I asked for a beige, but once again I let it slide. Finally, she began airbrushing my nail and I knew this had to be some kind of a joke. The lady who did the airbrushing on my nails was so clearly lost, I genuinely don't even know why she works there. She couldn't care less about how my nails turned out. On top of all of this , I asked her MULTIPLE times if she wanted to see a picture for reference but, she would either cut me off or ignore me. Also the shape of my nails was absolutely trash, furthest thing from a coffin shape. They looked more circular than coffin. Obviously frustrated I went back and asked them to fix it, she said she would charge me again! For what? For you not being able to do your job? Obviously tired of this entire experience I do not want to waste more money so I asked them to just file it. The lady who re-filed my nails, "Hanna" was so stuck up and pretentious. She acted very understanding at first, but as soon as I asked her for her name so that I can get my nails done from her next time,she started acting differently. I guess she took it the wrong way and started treated me rudely. Don't even get me started on the girl at the front. Like why does she stare so much, but what bothered me the most was the fact that they love treating you horribly if you disagree with something they do. After I got my nails re-filed the lady at the front said they look good ( obviously to promote business) but I told her they looked nothing like the picture I showed you. Her response was, "that's just how we do ombré here". No. Just no. It's all excuses, I showed you a picture of what I wanted , if you knew that you guys don't do ombré like the way I asked then you should've said something, not acted all money hungry and lie. I deteste this location and absolutely do not like the staff. I don't think I've ever gotten shittier customer service anywhere else's I've been. No restaurant,nail salon or theatre compares to how shitty their staff is. Also the girl at the front talked to us as if we had to give a tip, we have 3 dollars in change and asked her to keep it but she said no. She proceeded to ask my sister if she had a bill to break and expected us to give her the whole $10 as a tip, after everything they put us through. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Never coming back, nor will I ever refer anyone to come here. I would recommend people to NOT come here. Sorry if I made spelling errors, it's because of the shitty application of the nails. Shocking that the shitty nails I got form here are hard to write with. Ps: it's been one day since I got them done and they already broke and the shellac is coming off. Worst pedicure ever.... The worst thing about a pedicure is when the job is rushed... and that is what happen here. Firstly I did not see her unwrap the tools to ensure that they were cleaned. Or even wipe them down with alcohol in front of me... She was so rushed to take off my shellac that she grinned them downtown instead of soaking it off. Cutting my cuticles she did not finish the job she rushed them and they now look worse then when I first arrived. She used the stone twice on each of my heels to clean off the dead skin .. however they were so rough she could have spent a couple more minutes on that to ensure they done nice... Before she started the massage portion her next client came in and so she put clean on my legs and I got no massage just a hot towel not even hot stones.... When it came to the paint job it was all lumpy. It was not applied correctly When it came time to pay .. I called earlier to as the salon their prices .. the gentleman on the phone told me it was 30 dollars as there was no cost to remove shellac .. however that wasn't the case when I got them he said it was 35 dollars ... I asked why and he said you need to pay for shellac removal and I said well that is not what you told me over the phone.. he said oh sorry I am new .. which is a lie .. his Mary's husband and has been there for a long time !!! read more

Moved to Milton recently and had to find a new place. I was very happy with my old nail place but it's too far from home now. Nails for You - Prices are cheaper but that's because the equipment and resources they use is poor quality. Never had a set stay in good condition longer than 1.5 weeks. Always messing up appointments. Had me booked under "Amanda" when it was the manager herself I booked with. They forgot I booked a pedicure+manicure and only scheduled me for a manicure. The ladies there don't listen to requests and do as they please regardless of what you ask. Left there with polish all over my fingers. Little attention to detail. Need I say more? Save yourself some trouble & money and go somewhere, anywhere, else. read more

Unsanitary. I have been to this nail salon twice now, out of convenience and proximity to my house. The first time, I did a gel overly with the owner as my nail tech and upon going back for a refill observed that I had contracted a nail fungus. It was "treated" and the refill proceeded. Much to my dismay, I decided to remove the gel this past week and cut my nails, and t not only was the original infection now WORSE but there were two more. Never going back to that place again as I went against my better judgement, my first warning sign was how rude the girls were and the hour plus I had to wait after my checking in. TERRIBLE. I came here from to fix ONE broken nail thinking they would do a decent job, they did not, i left with the whole set looking atrocious. Not only did they mess up my shape, but they also didn't even make the nail look presentable. The ombré wasn't ombré, more like disgusting lines coming down from the blue. On top of that one thumb is shorter than the other thumb because of their poor judgement. They didn't even manage to do the chrome properly which was probably the easiest thing they could have done and claimed it was the "grown out effect" my nails were not that grown out so them doing that was unnecessary. It was 15$ for just this simple service and when i went back in for a refund because of their poor service, they declined and argued with me brutally for 20 minutes and tried to make me feel sorry for them. The person i got my nails done is names Hanna or however you spell it, i don't care. Maybe the rest of the people that work there are lovely but this lady was surely a b*tch. read more

Had a pedicure today, worst ever. Took my own polish and the girl put a strip down the nail as the base and top coat. Clearly conserving polish and time. The main color was only slightly better barely covering the nail, multiple coats to get to the edges and causing a thick coat that smudged even after fan drying and using a drying spray. The edges were never sealed. This whole procedure took 20 minutes flat. I booked an appointment, but she was more concerned at getting to her next customer. I would not ever recommend this place and will not return. read more

Love this place. I've been going since I moved back to Milton last Spring and I've never left unhappy with the quality of service. The staff are always very friendly, lots of choices re: options, colours and once they get to know you they make personalized recommendations. There's always something on TV - whether it's the news, a movie, music. I recommend not giving too much weight to reviews and trying it for yourself - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! read more

Nail Salon or Day Care Center? Was in here recently for services and knew it was going to go bad when the stroller, big as a bus, was allowed in. The mother sat down for her pedicure and of course, eventually the kid started whining. She put the kid on her lap which would have been okay if that is where it ended. But then she started playing baby songs on her ipad and made no effort to keep it down. So the place was filled with endless repetitions of the moronic "wheels on the bus" and other super annoying music, with no consideration for anyone else in the room. You would expect the management to show some respect for their adult clients and tell her to turn it off, but they did nothing. Who needs this? You go to relax and should not have to put up with this kind of thing. Definitely will never be back. read more

Would not recommend. I came here for the first time for a manicure and pedicure and both were done poorly. My toes were cut and filed on a slant. To make things better, the lady who filed my toes did it so aggressively, the nail was not smooth and had a number of uneven ridges, and now four days later, it has chipped. The shellac on my hands does not look appealing either as it is a light colour and not enough coats were done. Very disappointing considering it was not cheap! Would recommend going elsewhere. read more

Do not go here!! I got shellac done and it started to peel off after day 3! I've gotten shellac done many times before at other nail salons and it typically lasts me 2 weeks or more. Not only did they do a bad job with the shellac but they also charged $10 more than the other nail salon I usually go to. Another note is that the place looked a bit dirty and it didn't look like they cared much about hygiene. I will never go back to this place! Please save your money and go somewhere else. They did redo my nails when I called to complain but they peeled off 2 days after! Horrible service!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT GO THERE!! read more

The nail salon was OK however you spend so much money and it's very expensive and you don't care exactly what you want I got a refill and it was $45 for a fill plus just colour on top $45 is a lot and some places make you pay $22 for a fill and shellac colour and do a much better job than this place also they're very rude and a lot of them shake your head while they roll there eyes at you and they have no respect for anyone and I think you can find much better nail salons where this one you spend so much money. read more

I like this place a lot! They did a good job on my nails and they are super nice! Two weeks later my nails still look good! My only negative comments about them is that they are not very sanitary but I bring my own supplies anyway so thats fine. Also I went in for a shellac manicure/ regular pedicure and I guess everyone was busy they did my manicure first and because I could not wait an extra 40 minutes after my pedi for my nails to dry, I had to do shellac pedi just to finish earlier. Not very happy with that but its okay otherwise. read more

I would like to give this place a zero but there is no option for that. I went here with my mom to get mani-pedis. Horrible service, the most rushed mani-pedi ever. They barely do anything just soak your feet in water and rub some nasty green gel all over it. They don't do a good job removing dry skin. The girl who did my manicure had a towel filled with the last customers finger nails on it! She then said 'oh let me clean up" and proceeded to dump the nails on the floor and re-use the same towel!!! Very unhygienic. She reused the same towel that was already dirty. She rushed the manicure, and kept painting globs of nail polish on me that would not dry properly. It was so bad that when I took it out of the heat lamp it smeared. She would not fix it even though it was her fault for putting globs and globs of nail polish on my nails. She did the same thing to my mom and kept making mistakes and kept saying its my moms fault for not staying still! She then blamed us and said that we should get shellac polishes and no one gets REGULAR manicures anymore for this reason, because its easier for them to do shellacs. I had my nails done at this salon 3 times. The first 2 times I had a pretty good experience. The 3rd time not so good! I booked a mani-pedi appointment for myself and my 2 daughters for a Friday after school (3:30pm) We were leaving for vacation first thing in the morning. So we get there on time and there were not 3 ladies available to attend to us. Already this is unacceptable since I made an appointment. The owner/manager took care of my daughters one after another while I waited patiently for another lady to start my mani-pedi. In the middle of my appointment the lady gets up and says someone else will continue as she has an appointment who just walked in. At this point my patience is running thin as I had an appointment!!. Well I sat there for 45 mins waiting for someone to free up to finish my manicure. When I was finally seated the girl was visibly annoyed that she has another client and went on to tell me how exhausted she was as they were so busy all day! Well I have to say I left at this salon at 6:45 pm for a 3:30 pm appointment!! I will never go back to this disorganised establishment! read more

I have always had a wonderful experience here. The people are so warm and accommodating. I usually don't make appointments as I go at off-peak hours but they are always willing to accommodate me. I have brought my daughter in for a few pedicures and they are wonderful with her as well. I usually get pedicures and they feel and look great. read more
