I went to go get my nails done here a few days ago and honestly was debating on writing this review (I don't want to bash small businesses especially run by immigrants) but I felt so disappointed and disrespected while I was there. First I came in for a full set manicure and pedicure. I requested regular nail polish because I am allergic to gel polish. I had to repeat this multiple times because they assumed I was trying to be cheap. Secondly, I have never been to an establishment that does a full set and pedicure at the same time. They clearly wanted to rush me out and had me sitting in the far back when there was multiple pedicure and manicure chairs available in the front. This felt racial. While doing my full set and pedicure at the same time I could not enjoy what was suppose to be a relaxing moment because I had to cross my hands, move to the side so the woman can do my nails. She tried again getting me to do gel, I told her no. Then she said I should do French, I said sure and verified that she could do it with regular polish and she said she can. I asked for the most expensive pedicure, wanting a relaxing spa experience before I went to vacation. The pedicure was subpar, not worth the $50. Can't really blame her, she was an older woman who lacked strength. The manicure on the other hand was awful! I pointed it out to her and she said 'well with regular polish it's hard but once I put the clear coat and it dries it should look good'. They brought me to the front to dry my nails and completely abandoned me. My nails look awful not just the nail polish but my cuticles as well. This experience lacked professionalism, I felt like as a Latina they did not want me sitting in the front and regardless of if I wanted gel or regular polish I am still a paying customer. I gave them a 20% tip and of course after that they felt so appreciative. I hope this taught them not to judge the color of someone's skin and not to rush potential clients. I just moved close by and was hoping this would be a place I can frequent for pampering but after this experience absolutely not. read more

I stumbled upon Kay while looking for somewhere to get by a fill & gel pedi and I've never looked back. My original nail tech was great, but she was afraid to do nail art. Not Kay! Her creativity is amazing! She's so spot on with designs, and she knows what color is best for your skin tone. I can't recommend Kay or this salon enough. read more

Came in on my Wednesday afternoon for a pedicure with regular polish. When I came in and told the lady what I needed, she said it would be about a 20 minute wait, which was no problem, so I hung out in the lobby until it was my turn. After 30 minutes of waiting, she noticed I was getting a little fidgety and she asked me to pick a color and got a seat ready for me to start soaking my feet. I had to wait another 40 minutes in the chair with my feet soaking before it was finally my turn. I know this because I texted my sister at 1:24pm that I just got to the nail place. My pedicure didn't start until 2:36pm. Since it took them so long to get started, I could only opt for the express pedicure, which was $35. It was OK, it got the job done, but when she went to scrub my feet with the pumice stone, she dropped it on the floor and picked it right back up and continue scrubbing. Bleh! Total for an express pedicure was $35 + $1 for using my cc and it took over an hour and a half. The ladies here are very nice and polite. I just wish she would've been upfront with me on the wait time so I could either come back or had the opportunity to plan out my afternoon differently. read more

Not sure if just the lady I had but they need to do a better job at doing acrylic nails. It's been less than a week and my nails already loosened and came off. They do a great job but the reason I give it 3 stars is that when you ask for an appointment or call to see if they're busy the owner will always say yes to your appointment or tell you they're not busy and to come in. Regardless of whether they're busy or not. She just wants you to come in. There are times I've waited 10-15 mins but right now I waited over 30mins and they still have started my pedicure. This will probably be my last time here, unfortunately. Since I can't trust them to honor their appointments on time. read more

Time is a luxury we don't have. My biggest pet peeve from any service provider is when they don't tell you the truth about wait times. I'm sure they've been in the business long enough to know the difference between 15 minutes and an hour. I'm a big girl, just tell me the truth if I have to wait longer so I can properly plan my day. A few minutes turned to 30 which turned to an hour wait. I could've gone somewhere else or done something more productive during the falsely advertised wait time instead of sitting on their uncomfortable chairs looking angrily at the clock. The lady drilled my natural nails down so thin I'm afraid they are going to break any time now. She took off one of my acrylics nails and broke my thumb nail in half. She didn't acknowledge the fact that she broke my natural nail. I kept asking her, "did you break my nail?" I asked her 3 times but she kept ignoring my question. I don't recommend this place at all. On vacation in las Vegas and went for a last minute pedicure. This was by far, the best pedicure i have ever had. Esther took such good care of my feet. No one has ever scrubbed and cleaned my feet like she did and massage was fabulous. I have been going for pedicures for years and she was the first to ask if i want my nails trimmed straight across or curved. This place is dirty. i had an older lady do my pedicure and she was very gentle, didn't clean under my nails, i had to tell her if she could cut down the extra skin more, she left blood on one of my toes and proceeded to still add polish on top. Overall, never coming here again read more

Came to Vegas for my post valentines celebration with my honey but didn't get a chance to get my nails done back home. I took a taxi from my hotel and asked the driver to take me to a nail salon. Staff from the hotel had suggested Chinatown. Driver dropped me off at a shopping center on Spring Mountain and said I should find a salon there. I asked several people from several businesses in the area and no one seems to know where the nail salons are. They kept saying "keep walking up the street and the next shopping center has one". Found one but they didn't acrylic nails ‍ found another one and they were booked. Was suggested to keep walking up the street. GPS was not working for me I was so ready to quit but decided to walk a bit further and test my luck. I saw the shopping center on Decatur blvd and saw Nails For You. I decided to walk in and see if they had availability. A very nice lady welcomed me and kindly asked what I needed done. "Fill set and pedicure if possible please" I said. She directed me to Linh towards the back of the room. I showed her what I was looking to get done and with no doubt on her face she said she would be glad to take care of me.
