They did have be sitting in the pedicure chair HOWEVER after 40 minutes, the water my feet was soaking in was COLD. Poor communication and listening skills. Overall, poor customer service. Called to inquire about the cost for a fill and was quoted $40. Arrived and was seated with a sweet older lady who had me pick a color and started removing the previous nail polish. Then she said that her family member next to her wa going to finish the job, waited 10 minutes for the family member to continue the service. Everything was going as usual then when she started adding the polish I mentioned that it DID NOT look like the color I had chosen. The polish started to separate and she hurried me to put one nail at a time on the UV light. I told her a second time and this time I grabbed the sample to show that the color was not the same one I had chosen. She smiled and said that it was ok. I had already been there for almost an hour. I told her I did not like it. She smiled and giggled and started getting ready for the next person. I was told the service was $45 instead of $40 so I just paid but I left feeling uneasy. After much deliberation I decided to return to ask for a redo. The lady was busy and very confused because she thought I really liked it. I said no, I Don't like the color. She had other clients for a pedicure and the ladies left without getting any work done because they were quoted a price $$ over the phone and it was different than what they were being quoted in person. She took another pedi client infront of me. Left and came back like an hour later and I had a chance to speak to what I think was the person in charge and after looking at the color that was applied and the color I chose I was told that they WOULD ONLY CHARGE $20 to repaint. I told them I had not planned to pay and I had not brought my purse. I left, I could not stomach letting them touch my nails again. Also customer service sucked was not greeted when originally entering the store and didn't even offer my boyfriend a seat after 30-40 mins. This was my second time coming here. I got exactly the same thing as the first time I thought I absolutely loved my first set that was done by a different technician than the second set, but he was no longer there anymore so I went with a different person, I love the second site even more than the first set The first time I went and I also got a pedicure. They do a really great job. You can pretty much just walk in or at least all the times I walked in and I got lucky and I get seen right away. I think that they have quality work and I love the decor inside the only reason why I'm doing a four-star is because on my initial visit I didn't get to use the 20% off coupon and don't really understand why. I was told I can use it on the second visit which was written on a business card and ended up losing that card so I didn't get to use it on my second visit either, which I should've been able to use it on the first. That is the only negative to my visit was me not getting a discount. They have a very clean bathrooms. Everything is absolutely clean with so many colors to choose from everyone. The service is super friendly. They offer you drinks while you're waiting and getting your work done. I even told my coworker about this place and then she laughed and said that she comes here too, but she didn't share that information with me so here. I am sharing it with all of you. When the lady took my gel off the nails looked sick. They tried to cover up with more gel, but I knew something was wrong and I refused service. I haven't gotten a pedicure any where else in a while and I don't walk around barefoot. I am a very clean person. There is no other place I would have gotten it. Beware of their sanitation practices. As a business you should care for your customers health and wellness when you are providing these services. I had a pedicure last night. The staff and owners let a customer play her phone on blast for over an hr! They did nothing about it. There were 7 people getting their pedicures done at the same time and we all were looking at the customer and owners about that needs to be addressed. Found this place because I just moved close to the area, they had a 4.8 rating on Google and when I called to ask if they had time for a walk in for a full set and gel pedicure they got me in right away. I got serviced by eva who did my nails and Donna who did my pedicure. Both were very great! Service was awesome! I showed eva an inspiration picture of what I wanted and she did just that. The pricing is very reasonable and the massage chairs were also great! The pedicure massage Donna gave was phenomenal 10 our of 10!!! Definitely recommend. Yelp Review Dragon Nails 821 South Rainbow * On June the 4th at about 9:45. I was out on my daily walk of 3 miles. I have Passed the Dragon Nail Solon twice a day since it opened. I figured I'd check out the Solon since it was close to my house. When I walked in there were no clients in the space. I wanted to just get some information on their pricing. There was an Asian male I perceived one of the owner, was showing several contractor around and was telling them what and where he wanted something. The Asian lady that is there most of the time was stand in the back of the shop. I think she is also one of the owners too. She made eye contact with me and turned her back to me. The Asian lady close to me got up and walked the sink in the back of the store. Now two of the Asian women are ignoring me. The third Asian lady looks up at me for a couple of seconds, and then went back to fiddling with stuff on her table. I'm not one to use the race card, but this was very batten that they didn't want my business. After standing there for about 15 seconds more I turned around and exited the salon. According to their profile photos they seem to have women of color. Maybe they just don't want males as clients. At any rate I shake their dust from my saddles and I wont be going back. read more
