The lady at table 8 continued laughing when I kept asking her questions about what she was putting on my nail. She glued a tip on the dip powder and continued to say "you'll be fine" each time I asked. Not only that but the ladies next to her were cracking seeds all over the place and laughing each time they looked at my nails. Well . It's just start with the fact that they are over-priced okay. Secondly , I've been to this location times before and never this bad of an experience. My pedicure was mediocre of $32 regular polish let's add . Then the fucking refill , ANNE (- short cut blonde hair short of ) was my tech for this day (1/17/2022) and the task was a simple fill w/ regular polish and cut down and pinky fix , now when she laid on my pinky it BURNED extremely bad to where I took mr hand away , she then grabbed my hand and spray my pinky with ALCOHOL. This only intensified the pain . She also cut my other pinky and covered the wound with acrylic. Which burned as well . I insisted on her stopping multiple times . I then asked her to stop . I went to the manager and informed him on what happened and then he got and attitude and insisted I pay my $62 ticket in which I stated I would only pay for my feet . Then he proceeded I can have the nails removed if it hurt so bad and that I should cane to him sooner . I told him to check his cameras and watch how many times I snatched my hands away a form her when she did my pinkys . I said okay and then waited for them to take the nails off because they where still burning . ( my pinky is throbbing as I type this ) . He sent me to a young lady and she stated " I don't trust the money , I'm not doing it until least you are getting a new set . " And the " manager " attempted to soak them off which I stated to him " it burns and snatched my hand away as well . I went for a refill on an overlay (on my own nails). Sloppy acrylic application, I got cut by the drill the tech was using, he was cutting my nail rough as if it was a plastic tip and the last straw was when he filed into my thumb causing me to bleed. His eyes where everywhere but my hands. I didn't even let him finish filing my other hand I pulled my hands and told them I was done. I visited to this nail shop at at least 4 times. The only great customer service I received was when I first came there. The employees are too rough when giving manicures and make you feel bad when you give them suggestions how you want your nails to look. Several times I had an employee stated to me that I'm too picky. I told her you didn't paint the corner of most of my nails. It's not like you doing this service for me for free. I'm paying you with tip. There was another incident when I chosen my nail polish colors. I picked a dark brown opi nail color and moca sprinkles nail polish. When the staff member was going to add the moca sprinkles, she realized she ran out and pressed me to choose another sprinkle color but was limited on sprinkles. She tried to persuade me to use orange sprinkles on brown nail polish...I'm like I dnt like that color. Since they didn't have the color i wanted, I rather change the nail polish to something plain. She started speaking her language. I assumed she was upset. But if I'm paying you, why should I accommodate your needs? I'm not going to get a color to please you when I'm the one paying and wearing this color to work. She basically left her station and referred me to another worker without telling me. I went for pedicure and ended up with an INFECTION. Which signifies clearly that they don't sanitize their tools properly. The pedicure was fine beside the fact that I was cut a little by the cuticle part and I kept telling the lady it was burning. But overall I absolutely LOVED my toes and the color. After admiring my toes yesterday about a week after my pedicure Come to find out this morning the gel polish just falls off randomly and reveals that I have a fungus. Having been a customer for over 4 years, and even with the pandemic they did an excellent job! I was able to get pampered safely, and quickly. My nail tech Ginny is The BEST and I love giving her creative control. The owners are very involved and welcoming as soon as you come inside. Been coming to this nail salon forever to get a pedicure. I have never gotten a manicure nor set of acrylic nails here, but I go to them for pedicures. Very affordable spot at $20 for a pedicure. I usually always get in and out, never really have to wait. If I do have to wait, the wait is pretty short. I've had several nail techs do my pedicures, and while I find the men do a better job with the "massage" portion, I've had good experiences with both the male and female techs. They usually do a really nice job trimming my toenails and cuticles. They're always courteous and ask if I'd like my toenails cut and if so, how do I want them shaped. They use scrubs and oils for the massage portion, and also a hot towel before they apply polish. And I've always seen them using base and top coats. And they have a pretty large array of nailpolish choices. Like I said, been coming here forever as I'm local to that area. I also always bring my mom for a mom/daughter pedicure whenever she's in town. And I've also taken my friends here as well. I know they also do waxing, gel nails and acrylics...but like I said, I've only come here for pedicures, so I can't comment/review them on anything else. I did have to dock them one star because a few times they did cut my skin when filing my nail bed down with the drill, which hurt and bled a little bit. The pedicure was fine, however i broke two of my nails so she had to put acrylic on both of my nails that broke. She struggled so hard to put on acrylic it concerned me. I went to this nail salon because I live in the area and always shop at the public next door. I decided today to give it a chance out of convince. I walked in and the girl at the front muttered under her breath how she could help me from then I should of known to walk back out... but didn't I asked for a manicure and pedicure she pointed to where I can pick out the colors. And said when I was done to go to number 6.... whatever that means.. I picked a color and searched for what I assumed was number 6. It ended up being a pedicure chair. As I was looking around I saw the color that I really wanted but could find in the front area where I was told to pick out a color. The color I wanted was "it's a boy" by OPI when she was done putting cream on my legs and getting ready to paint my nails I told her I see the color I actually wanted and asked if I can do that color instead of the one I gave her. She said when I'm done you can go and get it. Again rude. I've never gone to a nail salon where I changed my mind on a color and knew the name and they made me get up from my pedicure chair to get it myself... anyways I went and got the color from where I told her I saw it and she said " you can't get that color that is only for customers that pay for next gen nails" I asked her why not if it is a regular polish? She then just gave me a look and said what color do you want i again told her I wanted the color she made me get up to find but since she refuses to paint my nails to just go with the original color. She continues and starts talking to the other lady next to her in their language. She finished and says go to number 3 again doesn't bother to help with my purse nor opening the pedicure chair. At this point I was mind blown by the poor service I was receiving I went to the front and asked for her name which was CECILIA. I told the girl that she was very rude and I don't want her doing my manicure. She said she would have someone else do it. I waited while drying Cecilia gave me dirty looks while walking past me and someone else eventually completed the service. Cecilia made it a point to put my polish back so the other employee who assisted me had to have the girl from the front search for the color. She messed up my toe nail polish tried to tell me she didn't after insisting she realized the polish was smudged and simply added another coat of paint! Moving on to the gel manicure again. Nails uneven I had to ask her to file them. I understand using gloves for pedicures but she wore gloves to do the manicure as well. My nails had dip powder which you soak off and redo they charged $9! Just for that. Cut cuticles what cut smh. The man doing my nails did not smile one time or even try to make the normal awkward small talk. He was too busy talking to his coworkers about how poorly the new receptions was. Part of my nails have arcrylic missing . Had to pick off my own excess . No cuticle oil. Told me to get up and that i was done. No smile no apology for hurting me. Trash laying around on floor. Old and run down. Seems like they have no pride in their appearance only shovel as much cash in as possible. Very dissatisfied with this salon. Not sure about the sanitation in there. I have been going to this nail salon for over 7 years. Now under new management the manicure/pedicure combo went from $35 to $42 no combo price. Along with that discount they rushed through it. WITHOUT ANY DISCOUNT they should continue with their services of the past when they actually didn't rush through, what's supposed to be, a relaxing experience. Now I must find another place. I've been going here about a year. When I first started going, I had a gel manicure that started peeling after a week. I went back and the next manicure was fine. My third visit, the technician cut my cuticles so close that my hands were sore for a week. I just went again a few days ago and the girl working on my hands was so busy chatting to the girl working in the chair next to her that she didn't notice when she cut my finger! She started saying she was sooo sorry! Meanwhile, my finger bled through the whole manicure! I paid for the manicure and left. The next day my finger was in serious pain. This place isn't the fanciest and it's in a shopping center, but they do a great job. They can usually get me in without an appointment with less than a 10 minute wait and they are very reasonable with their pricing. Genie does a fantastic job. This goes back to six weeks ago when i got a fill and Pedicure and the nail tech cut my finger which ended up infected. Things happen. I go back two weeks later as usual, i get the same tech and i give it another shot. This time he left small cuts all over my cuticles from the drill. I then opted for the most expensive pedicure which was 55 later noticing they charged me 75 for it and never even actually madsaged my foot. That leads us to today... I go in and i now see the manager who had a terrible attitude which i looked past because not my problem. I told her i had a pain in my nail bed she said i had nothing there yet yanked something out making me bleed. My pedicure followed which was in cold water. She then cut my toe unnecessarily short to where it actually looks bad. I will never go back and i know one customer is nothing to them and their newly enlarged location but truthfully, the service was much better when it was a smaller location.
