I absolutely love this salon! Amanda, the NEW owner(pay attention to review dates), is truly wonderful. She's willing to try any designs I request. They've all come out beautifully and last over 3 weeks (only because my nails have grown out!). They're clean, friendly, and the skilled techs are great. Amanda also speaks fluent English so our communications are perfect. I highly recommend this location! There's plenty of parking, they accept walk-ins, and their prices are reasonable. (The owner wasn't there) the next time I went a wk or 2 later she was there and the experience wasn't good at all she kept switching technicians on me to accommodate other customers that was complaining. When I went to pay I was charged additional 10$ because the gel was removed. The next time I went she wasn't there at first but showed up. I was charged 72$ for a gel pedi(reg) and regular mani (clear polish) 20$ to remove the gel this time... I would never patronize this establishment if it was this the last Salon on earth. She's always questioning me every time "Why you no have cash?!" It's none of her business. Charges a fee to run your credit card and jacks up the price every time I go there. This was my forth time here for a Gel Manicure. Each time, the level of chaos grows and today was my last time. I had a 10:00 am appt which should have been 30 minutes max. I walked out of this nail salon at 11:20 am. During my entire appt, the manager who is also in real estate was too busy on her phone while doing my nails. She would constantly talk into her phone, text and answer emails from what I'm guessing are prospective buyers. It's obvious that she cannot do both (manage a nail salon and be a realtor) This was my last time here based on this horrendous service. read more

Overall I was happy with the way my nails turned out but I did receive a few cuts on my cuticles. In the pictures there's at least 4 small cuts on my fingers and it's quite uncomfortable. Loved the detail, precision, and the paint was applied neatly. Went there yesterday for a pedicure...not only were they not friendly, but they got polish on my flip flops, had to ask them to file my nails because they were sharp on the corners and the "massage", my husband could do better (not saying much! Haha!!) ... hopefully the polish will last a couple weeks, because the lady next to me said hers chipped after three days. I was in the area and decided to try them for dip powder instead of my regular salon in Edison. I was there Monday 10/7. Well that was a mistake, they don't do a good job with dip powder at all! At first it looked ok even though the guy (tony) only dipped it twice vs my place dips it at least 4 times. then he put a clear coat that I don't believe is right for dip powder because it made my nails look cloudy not shiny. Needless to say my nails started breaking within a few days. I did call the place and they said come in and will fix the broken ones but honestly the whole set needs to be redone. Honestly, don't waste your money going there for dip powder. Find a better salon. read more

After getting my nails done, they have broken multiple times within a few days. I previously wrote in my last review that this place was awesome but the quality of my nails did not withhold. I went back to get them fixed two days later, assuming I had probably hit my hand at some point and that them breaking was my fault. But THE NEXT DAY AFTER GETTING THEM FIXED they broke again. I needed a mani-pedi and was able to book an appointment for 30 minutes after I called. There weren't many Essie polishes but they had a decent selection of OPI; the other brands I didn't recognize. I was in and out in 40 minutes and think that my manicurist did a decent job. It was $33 all together. I workout and do dishes etc. and they chipped within a couple of days. Wonderful staff and they truly are talented. I get my nails done by Thi and she does a great job. Prices are affordable and they have numerous colors to choose from. They also provide services of waxing and I was trying to get them to do eyelash extensions so maybe that will be the next service that they can provide. I witnessed an elderly lady who is perhaps on a fixed income get questioned about her tip. She gave a $2 tip for a pedicure with no polish and the worker said "$2 only?" That's insane!! I couldn't believe it, a tip is not mandatory !!! The lady just froze and then ended up giving her another dollar, honestly that's just sad. Also, there's been multiple times I've called ahead of time to book my appointments and I wasn't on the books and had to wait. The Owner looks money hungry & as soon as you approach them or let them know about anything, they start speaking to each other in their language and it's very obvious their talking about you. I stopped going here for a while because of the quality of my nails vs. the price I was paying but I started going back about a year ago and was introduced to Sam! HE IS INCREDIBLE. We can really just leave it at that, my nail shape is always perfect and he is up to date with the latest trends. His work is impeccable and he is always interested in making the CUSTOMER happy. This place is under new ownership. The new owner Julie spends her day doing nails while screaming and yelling across the salon at her employees. Going to the salon is my time to pamper myself, de stress and relax. I wasted a Saturday sitting in a chair watching a very unprofessional screaming match from the front chair to the last pedicure chair in the back. It was a total waste of time and money. I give this place one star not only for the poor service, but because of the way they made me feel. They did not make me feel like a paying customer, in the BEGINNING of my manicure, the woman who was doing my nails yelled "2 minutes" to the next woman. Multiple times during the next few minutes, she got up and began to prep the next girl while o wasn't even done. My nails do not look nice. Will never go here again. I made an appointment with Helena cause she's great. I show up only for them to tell me she no longer works here. Heidi then says I didn't have an appt which I did but goes to me I do for you. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and asked her if she could do it which she responds of course were professionals here. I arrived at 5:50 was just getting a fill and French w design. She rushes through everything only to burn my skin with the nail filer multiple times. I asked her to be careful. Then it came time to do the French which she air brushed we went back to the chair and she had no clue how to pain the design I showed her which was little hearts along one side. She tried and it looked horrible I told her I didn't like it. She then asked another girl to try and that looked terrible to. Then she proceeded to tell me she couldn't do it cause my nails weren't big enough. I asked her to take it off. Which she then had to refile it off, again with the burning of my skin. She reairbrushed again all the while leaving clumps of gel acrylic stuck to the sides of my cubicles and skin around my fingertips saying she will get it later. Now it's after 7:15. after failed attempts to give me remotely anything I initially asked for I gave up as the anger consumed me from being here almost an hour and a half and I'm still not done. Now she just painted regular French with an airbrush heart which were two different colors from not cleaning the airbrush in between. Then jamming her fingernail in the sides try to lift the harder gel that she didn't get with the file. Causing me to wince in pain. She then proceeded to cut it off my fingers with the cuticle nippers to which she started cutting my skin and making my fingers sore. Now I'm angry and told her just to finish cause I wanted to leave. I left finally at 740 with sore fingers and paying 37.00 to which she said she didn't charge me for the 5.00 design.
