At the time of this review, the price is $13 for eyebrow threading. This is $4 cheaper than the Menlo Park mall threading kiosk! Great place to get my eyebrows threaded. I've been here since Salons were allowed to reopen after the lockdown and the ladies have never disappoint me. The staff takes temp checks and wear masks and they make customers wear masks as well, which is a plus. you have to make an appointment online before coming in, which is great, because I hate waiting in a crowded room even with masks on. I moved into sayreville few months and was looking for a decent place to get my eyebrows done! Thank god I found this place. The price and service is amazing and cheap! If you during weekdays from Monday to Thursday, you only end up paying $5 for eyebrow. In the weekend, it's $2 more but if you are living this area, try to go on weekdays to avoid waiting in line. The good thing about this place is the owner has manage to keep enough workers and the line moves very fast. I live away and come into the area annually to visit family. I had gone to Huma several times over the past few years for threading, and last summer I had gone to them for facial bleaching. Everything was fine then. This year, however, when I tried to book an appointment online, the system had apparently changed, and it was asking for *advance payment* in order to book the appointment. This seemed quite odd. I finally called them and asked for an appointment, and they gave me one the following day at 11:30. When I arrived, however, I was told that the person who was to do my facial bleaching was out sick. I was surprised and disappointed that they couldn't at least have called me, so that I didn't waste my time and gas coming for nothing; I simply got a cavalier answer about them being "busy". Their customer service has really declined, even in terms of basic courtesy, and I will not be returning and can no longer recommend them. read more

I have been here already 3 times. It already means a lot if I come back to a threading place because I could just go once then not come back because I do not like how my brows looked. But here it is a different story. I came from getting my brows done from Shiny Luck and I already was really upset about how they did my brows but decided to give this place a shot to reshape my brows. They first ask you how you like your brows and you basically give them an idea. Which I highly appreciate they're actually listening to you. Instead of brushing you off. The lady let me know that she had did not take too much off because she sees my brows were done thinly and different shapes and gave me tips on how to grow them. It has been a couple months and overall had a good experience. My brows are still growing according to them but it seems to almost be there! I met the owner Huma and the other Huma and they're so amazing. They are people friendly and really care about their jobs and customers. I had a horrible experience with the owner of the store. She is rude and unethical. She asked me not to come to her store in the future in front of other customers and employers as I had questioned her store policy and mentioned about giving a bad review. I had a hair cut and was charged a different price from what I was told. I had called them in advance to check the price and had mentioned that I have long hair. Not only this, they wanted extra 10 bucks just to blow dry the hair after haircut. I refused to pay and so I had to come back with wet hair. I wasn´t happy with the haircut . When I called the next day, the owner sounded reluctant and uncooperative. She kept asking me to call back and talk to the employee who gave me the cut. Never go to this place. read more

I want here last time for my waxing appointment and in the middle of the appointment.. as the wax roller cap was not fit properly and the entire wax in the roller fell on my legs and I felt my skin was burnt with hot wax.. I was super angry and scared and asked the owner who was responsible if I had any burns.. my intention was to tell her next time please be careful.. and I paid the entire amount.. and also tipped the staff.. she was like with such an arrogant behavior "sorry.. sometimes it happens..what do you want me to do now?" I went into this store to get a haircut and i left feeling like a milliom bucks. Huma is an amazing stylist and she did wonders to my hair. I have also gone in for my eyebrows and they have never looked so good! I love coming here! I previous used to go to Brunswick Square mall of get my eyebrows threaded, but it was far from home and about $10! Then my mother told me to go here and getting your eyebrows threaded is only $5!!!! It was such a great price I started getting my upper lip threaded as well for only $3. I have very straight and shapeless eyebrows and they are EXTREMELY hard to find someone who understands.
