went in to get a mani and pedi and I was the first person in the building. I sat down at the nail station first and then moved to the pedi which was fine they had just opened. The lady removes my nail polish and started to proceed with my pedi with no water. I ask and she said they having water problems but the other customer that came behind me has water in her foot bowl and soaking her feet. This is a great nail salon, that I have been coming to for years now. Always greeted with a smile and they all know my name and give me a warm welcome when I arrive. The salon is bright and clean and the stations are comfortable. The pedicure chairs and foot baths are to die for. They offer a wide array of services but I go mostly for my nails. The equipment is always sterilized and safe. I am currently seen by Diane who is wonderful and takes really amazing care of me. I am given a luxurious hand massage when my service is over. I've been to this place several times and have never really been impressed but the last two times I've gone I really hated it. The first time I got dip and not even a week later the clear coat was gone on my thumb. The second time I got the dip soaked off and got gel polish. The fell started chipping the next day and now day three they look horrible! I'm all about second or even third chances but I just can't keep wasting money here. I've been there to complain and just get bad vibes and felt so brushed off rather than "oh I'm sorry let us fix this" so on to the next one. clean n place but...for an $18 manicure I got a nail soak, trim and buff. No cream, no massage...nothing extra. When I checked out I asked what a manicure consisted of...I was rold 'honestly i have no clue.'. not going to pay for a manicure here ever again. Pedicure was ok but I asked the lady not to cut my big toes down to the skin and she did. As a result I could not square them off so they looked half round and half square. I just moved to Pensacola and am looking for businesses that I can patronage regularly and this won't be one of them. I do not have an appointment, I was here 10 minutes prior to opening, the sign said open and the lights were on, and one lady was already in the pedi chair. I'm guessing the lady who greeted me when I came in is the owner and she was very inpatient as I tried to explain what I'm looking for as far nail service. I am now sitting here getting a pedi by someone who doesn't seem to have much experience. The water was extremely hot, and the person next to her had to add the soaking product to the water for her. It seems as if they are quite friendly and nice with their regulars, but if this is how they treat first time customers they'd better hope their regulars stay regulars. I was really looking forward to a good pedicure today. I'm updating this after receiving the services I went for. Ashley did my pedicure and did a good job. If you like heavy handed tech, Ashley is not your girl! I'll go back to her. Ms. Sammi is the business! Very experienced, listened to my concerns, talked me through the process, and shared a ton of good information about the area! I've found my two nail techs!! I cannot give it 5 stars because of the way the owner treated me. If customer service isn't her thing, she should stay behind the scenes. read more

Nails looked great... for six days. An entire nail came off (bear in mind this is post brain surgery four weeks ago for me. I am doing nothing but sleeping, eating and showering. This is the worst over priced salon in pensacola, I came for a full set & pedicure. They tricked me into getting the Felix pedicure stating that's the only one that does the razor, which they did not use! I get gel nails, so the polish will hold up, and it was 55 $ for my feet alone. My nails were 40$ and are cheap and thin ! One of my nails have already broke 3 days later!!!!! What the hell man I paid 95$ for garbage. Do NOT USE THIS NAIL SALON. They Speak Chinese the entire time and rush you out of the door, and when I was getting my feet done I saw the younger one making faces at an older lady when she had her back turned. Honestly they only get two stars because of how they treated us, other than that I would give them 1 star if I could because I got the deluxe package with callouse remover and everything and my feet still looked cracked and I had extra skin from an old blister still there. I can't complain about the service I received. Everyone was extremely nice. I showed them a design on my phone that I wanted on my nails and the young man doing my nails did avclise enough job. My problem is that I got a brand new set of nails and they started popping off after a week. By the time I went somewhere else for a fill in 2 weeks I had already lost 5 nails and 2 more were loose. After having a horrible experience at a local, family owned nail salon last month, this is a great place! the nail tech that did my acrylics was experienced, professional, and very sweet. Acrylics with polish run at $25, pink & white around $45. It was my first time there, there was no wait and I was done wtihin an hour. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because you can see minor imperfections in the polish up close, probably because the coats were put on too fast, but it's still a neat, pretty job. They also run a great $10 of your 10th visit deal and give 10% off on your birthday. Will definitely be back! read more

It was my first time here. The technicians greeted me when I walked in. I told them what I wanted and had a seat in the chair to get a pedicure done (and manicure as well). I had a lady in a black shirt come up to me and hand me a pamphlet of complimentary drinks they offer (she sits on the second row of technicians. I started looking through the pages, then I turned the page and she snatched it out of my hand and turned it back to the first page.. which was very strange of her to do. I selected some water and she walked away. She didn't see anything wrong with it but personally, I was bothered by the whole ordeal. Anyways, my nail technician was Patricia, and she talked with me, did my nails and did an amazing job. Anna did my eyebrows and they look fantastic. I would recommend the staff (the woman offering drinks) being a little more courteous to people. Their prices are a little expensive, but other than the lady snatching the pamphlet of drink options out of my hand, my experience was good. Personally, I'll probably look at other places to choose from before I go back because of pricing and that experience overall. read more

I have visited the Nail Envy on Nine Mile multiple times since it opened. The atmosphere in the place is relaxing. In the past, here and at other salons, it takes 45 minutes to an hour (this includes drying time) for me to get a full-set put on. I chose gel this time for time purposes to reduce drying time since the gel dries practically immediately with the machine they use. Well...last night, it two TWO full hours to do a full-set and they were not even busy. AND...several of the nails are not even straight. The manicurist (I think his name is NAM) was not the quickest as several customers were being helped when I got there and left way before I was done. It was ridiculous and I still had to pay full price. It was extremely inconvenient and there was no excuse given as to why it took two hours and why my nails weren't addressed when I specifically pointed out the not-straight nails to NAM when he was filing them.
