I'm not sure how no one has listed this as a business on yelp prior to now!…read more This review is especially for massage therapist Kym from whom I've received basic "therapeutic massage," but the practice in general is a clean and peaceful environment and I've experienced that whoever is working will return calls as quickly as they're able. Kym has a great balance between being gentle enough (especially for painful areas) and firm enough. She also will interact and is personable, but is also quiet when you're quiet and just keeps working on you. The musical choices in the background have been nonintrusive and there aren't any strong scents from the oils or anything else, which is important to those with either sensory "issues," or who have known physical sensitivities or allergies (although any exposure - especially to synthetic/ chemical sources - can build up in the body over time and eventually one can become "sensitive," but it's actually just finally manifesting after exposure over time... research for yourself before doubting or criticizing please... and I'm not saying whether or not they use things that are synthetic or chemical in origin... I have no idea). The prices are higher than I'd like and it is definitely an expensive form of self-care at 90 per hour or $110 for 90 minutes, but I'm a cheapskate and don't do much for self-care honestly, so I am thankful for this for my sore and aching body.

When I called to book it at the beginning of December the girl at the front desk let me know the esthetician was booked until after the first of the year, so I said okay I can wait, then she went on to tell me that truthfully the esthetician would most likely not be coming back to work there and then after looking at my gift card it is expired after 6 months and she would not be able to help me. Needless to say I was livid, the owner finally got back to me after a few times of reaching out and let me book an $80 massage to be " fair" . This morning was my massage appointment and I woke up with a terrible cough so I called early and left a message, no one calls me back they just send me an invoice for $80 via text. Maybe I should've just gone in and shared my germs. Please be warned , This place is a joke they are completely unprofessional. I Would give 0 stars if it let me.

Fabulous Thai Massage - Sweetie

I'm a big fan of massages but I had never tried a Thai massage before so I thought I'd give it a…read morego. When I called I wasn't really given any info about the massage which was surprising. From my research, you're supposed to wear loose, comfortable clothes for Thai massages as you remain dressed. Its considered "passive yoga" because the therapist stretches you in various positions. That wasn't mentioned on the phone so anyone who is not familiar with this type of massage could easily come in office attire by mistake which wouldn't be appropriate. Be sure you wear comfortable clothes if you're expecting the Thai massage. Anyway, upon arrival I was greeted by name and brought in. Its a small office with a back room, a desk area and the massage room. The room it self was nice and clean and she had nice music playing. I filled out the basic paperwork and we discussed my issues. My hip had been hurting me for weeks so Sweetie thought it'd be a good idea to just do a regular massage instead of a Thai massage for my first visit and that I'd benefit the most from that. I agreed since I really was in a lot of pain and figured she'd know best. The massage itself wasn't bad or painful like some are. It was a little strange that she didn't really use much lotion so I felt a lot of friction. But on the other hand I didn't feel all greasy afterward either. Half way through she started doing some of the Thai massage stretches on me which was a little bit weird since I was undressed for the Swedish massage. I just went with it. If I had felt the need to be modest here it could have really bothered me but I'm too old to care now. It really does feel nice to get a really good stretch. There does come a point during the massage where it occurs to you that you just paid a Thai woman to stand on you. Sweetie is very nice and made casual conversation during the massage. She seems like a genuine "people-person" and seems to enjoy learning about someone new. Overall the massage and stretches actually really helped my hip and I immediately felt better with no more hip pain at all.
