I immediately loved how clean it looked and smelled, not like crazy nail products. I was accepted as a walk in and told to choose my color then have a seat. There was an array of colors and types of polish to choose from, loved that. The wait time was much shorter than expected considering I was a walk The manager, Tony, filled me in and let me know we were waiting for a single nail tech to service both my mani and pedi and also gave me the heads up that I would be here a little after closing. I appreciated the heads up and overall time estimate. Once my tech was nearing availability, I was sat by Tony, in my pedi chair, asked what I would like to drink (complimentary water, wine, soda), pedi water was set and I was prepped for my tech. Yuri, my tech came over with great energy and was very attentive to my needs and vision for my nails. Yuri was very informative about the type of polish I should use for the style of French I wanted. Yuri exceeded my expectations for my pedicure and full set. I WILL be booking her in the future. Overall, I throughly enjoyed my experience and appreciate the flexibility I was given. Oh! And the price was far less than expected!! --- update I have been coming here for almost a year now and Yuri is MY tech. My husband and brother in law have since come for mani pedis and LOVED the experience. Lynn is my husbands designated tech. The ladies and Tony have met my son, a whole family affair. Needless to say we love this nail spa.

I'll admit, I'm normally not much of a mani/pedi guy, but I decided to take one for the team, and I'm glad I did. The service was excellent, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff was incredibly meticulous and attentive throughout the entire experience. I have a very limited frame of reference when it comes to nail salons, but I thought they did a fantastic job. More importantly, both my wife and daughter were extremely pleased with their services and even commented on how nice my hands and feet looked afterward. If I lived in the Tampa area, I would absolutely return. Highly recommend Happy Nails Salon for anyone looking for friendly service and a relaxing experience.

Their website says they open at 9:00 AM, and I was the first person there. No one arrived to open the salon until around 9:30. When they finally opened, I immediately explained that I was in a rush and only needed a basic gel manicure. Even though I was the first customer there, the lady told me she didn't know how to do a gel manicure and proceeded to take two other customers who had walked in after me. She then asked me to wait for another lady to arrive who could supposedly do my manicure. When that lady arrived, instead of taking me, she started a pedicure on a man who had just walked in. At that point, I was sitting there watching two employees help multiple customers who had all arrived after me, while being told that neither of them knew how to do a basic gel manicure. I completely understand if a service isn't available or if a particular employee isn't trained to provide it, but that should have been communicated upfront instead of repeatedly taking customers who arrived after me--especially after I had already explained that I was short on time. Between opening 30 minutes later than the time listed online and the way customers were taken out of order, the experience felt extremely unprofessional and was a waste of my limited time.

I've been coming to this nail salon for the past three years. Even though it's about a 20 minute…read moredrive for me, I continued going because I genuinely enjoyed it. I usually only book with Lili, as I've had bad experiences with other staff in the past, so I stick with the one person who consistently does my nails the way I like. One afternoon, I came in with my two children, who were well behaved. As soon as we walked in, the owner looked at my girls and began speaking in another language to his staff. It was obvious there was some kind of issue based on their interactions. He told me to sit down, appeared to argue with the nail tech who was going to work on me, and then said, "Just try your best." Less than a minute later, my daughter accidentally dropped her cheeseburger and became upset. Almost immediately without giving me a chance to address the situation he came up to me and said they could not do my nails with my kids there because they "distract the staff." I felt extremely embarrassed. I calmly said okay and left. While I understand that an upset child can be distracting, they did not give me any opportunity to handle it. My children were eating and sitting quietly with their tablets prior to that moment. What upset me the most is that after being a loyal customer for three years, the one time I brought my kids it became an issue. If this salon is not kid-friendly, that should be clearly stated upfront. The way this situation was handled made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed, and unfortunately, I will not be returning.
