This has never been the case anywhere else I have gone for pedicures- I was shocked by her comments and didn't appreciate being spoken to in this manner, most especially in front of other customers. Secondly, I was not allowed to use a Spa 27 gift card, since my appointment was booked on line with my credit card. Receptionist was rude and not willing to help with this. Unfortunately, my visit to Spa 27 was unpleasant. I will not recommend nor will I return.

We needed a salon that could remove my daughter's…read moreacrylics, and after calling several nearby places, another local nail salon recommended we try Glamour Nails. I had a gel manicure and gel pedicure, and my daughter had acrylics removed, gel manicure and a french pedicure. The salon was very clean, the nail techs were friendly, and the music was pleasant/low volume. It was a little expensive ($225 for both of us) but I knew it would cost more out here. Got the job done and I'll definitely be back again this summer

My wax specialist was named Oksana, the SWEETEST, and I mean, S W E E T E S T woman. It had been a while since my last wax as I went back to shaving due to inconsistent travel for work so needless to say my lady parts were a little rough around the edges. I'm also Caribbean with really course thick hair that grows in a bunch of different directions (TMI I know). I have to say this was the least painful wax I've ever received in my life, Oksana was so gentle and chatted with me throughout the whole thing and her energy is just super familiar and comforting. I feel fresh and beach ready! 10/10 recommend!!!

Sun spots were popping up all over my forehead and temples, and the lines and crow's feet wrinkles around my eyes seemed as pronounced as they have ever been (possibly attributed to 127 degree scorching temperatures through Death Valley and cheap gas station sunscreen. I decided to splurge a little and let the staff at A-Studio try to fix me up, and I'm glad I did. I booked a 90 minute massage immediately followed by a facial that I can only describe as a religious experience (Olga was AMAZING and I recommend her highly). I have used Dr. Brandt DNA (Do Not Age) products for almost 3 years, and they suggested trying a few products from their all-natural organic Eminence skin care line. I was never a believer in products that advertised they could make you look years younger after just a few applications, particularly with ingredients that you might find a chemistry set (except maybe for my religious daily application of Retinol that my dermatologist prescribed). I can say this with reasonable certainty, Eminence products are the best I've ever used. My day cream has sunscreen mixed right in, and combined with the retinol, things are greatly improving on my desert-worn face. Check out A-Studio. An awesome spa day awaits you. My nail tech first put my feet into full tub of freezing cold water. Then she manhandled my feet, twisting my toes into uncomfortable position. She was super aggressive with cuticles as well, leaving me bleeding and my toes still stinging several hours later. My daughter had a pedicure at the same time and hers was fine - otherwise I would have removed the second star.

Now she's putting on the foam flip flops before painting my toes? I must be extremely ill-informed on the procedures in the Hamptons...
