Service is pretty inconsistent. I've had my nails done here a few times. A woman who I am assuming is a manager has done them twice: 1st time she left them uneven (the tops were not filed properly down) and incredibly thick. The 2nd time she rushed through them because another guest was loudly complaining (which in turn made the experience unpleasant) and left my nails with bubbles which made them crack less than a week later. For spending close to a $100, I wasn't very happy. The pedicure was awesome though, the woman who did my toes was great. There is a man who sits second row back, on the left, at the aisle, can't remember his name who does a GREAT job. He's very meticulous and takes his time. Overall, I'd go back if I was low on time considering it's very close to home, but they are lacking in consistency. read more

I love Nails 2000. I had my acrylics done by a nearby nail salon and I was completely unhappy with the results. I came to Nails 2000 two days later and they had to do a complete fill since they were already coming up after 2 days!! They did such an amazing job that I have been coming back every two weeks. They always listen to what I want and even though they're usually packed, I never have to wait long. Super nice people, and the owners are always there making sure everyone is taken care of. If you are looking for a clean, professional salon then this is the place you want to go. The salon decor is beautiful and relaxing as well. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE !!! I came in for a mani & pedi and was not satisfied. When I voiced my complaint to the owner he tells me its not the thech's fault that I wasnt satisfied. My nails were not shapped or clipped horrible polish job and my pedi was just a coat of paint and I had to pay full price. When I asked for their mistakes to be fixed I was charged extra because I was not specific with tech on the service I wanted. Thought mani and pedi translated into the same in every language. Absolute worst nail salon I have been to in Dallas! $30 for a fill and $30 for gel polish, just the polish! I had to get what looked like the owner to fix my polish 3 times.i had pink and white originally and he couldn't figure out how to fill in the pink so I had to get polish! Just the fill took over an hour and a half. It smelled like sewage in there as well. All over experience was terrible. We won't be back. read more

I have been going to this salon for five years and have never had an issue. The salon is spotless; the staff is incredible. I have had pedicures last over a month and I can usually go three weeks between fills on my nails. If you have more than once service done, they usually give you a small discount. I've also had my brows waxed here and every staff member does a great job with that as well. I am excited because they are expanding their services this summer. read more

So my first experience in many many years here was a nail dip service that was horrendous. When i returned asking for someone to merely remove it from my nails, I was approached by the nicest person in the building, Mindy. She convinced me to give it another try, so begrudgingly I did. I was told it would last 3 weeks no problem. Well, 1 week in Im filing down the broken edges on 2 nails....and 2 weeks later I definitely need them redone. I'm fine with a 2 week maintenance on my nails, but 2 days I have tried to get back in with "Mindy" to no avail. At first she was available then all of a sudden not. Then today again, she's not available. Clearly she is fabulous at what she does, but not once was another alternative suggested. They seemed to have no issue with sending the business away! I would be ok with that if it was at least communicated in a kind way, but they were rude! I will never go here again....and I'm bummed. I really thought I had finally found a neighborhood place that provides quality service. Mindy is a gem. Too bad she's not in a place that properly represent her pride and quality of customer service. read more

When I originally went to this salon, I was extremely impressed and decided to continue going out of my way to make sure they received my business. I've been going now for about 10 months and it has progressively gotten worse. The time before last I got the "dip" done on my nails. I would NOT recommend getting it done at this salon. My coworker's always looks great, but they can't seem to master the art there. I had to come back a couple of days later because the clear coat was completely coming off making my nails look ridiculous. The clear coat is the only thing that makes it look like a polish. So I went in to have it fixed and was told that I had to come back in a couple of days because the girl who did my nails wouldn't be back until then. This was all after one of the more popular technicians threw a huge fit because she didn't want to help me. The gentleman helping me ACTUALLY told me that it was because she wouldn't get paid for helping me. That was the most unprofessional thing I've ever witnessed in my life. There are too many nail salons in the area to be treated that way. I'll take my two times a month business somewhere else. read more

This is the first place I got a pedicure and still my favorite. As a man I was a little nervous about whether or not this would be awkward. It wasn't. I've been to places where there was a lot of upselling, I'm glad they do 't do that here. The nails on both big toes come out at an odd angle from the toe, but they manage to make them look normal when they are done. Awful. Just Awful. I walked in to the salon and they told me they could take me for full set and pedicure before they closed in 2 1/2 hours. they start the full set first and I explained to the lady I wanted the nail all one color. At first, she seemed a little confused but I continued to explain and she started to (or mislead me to believe she) understand, so she continues doing them. First she takes about 10 minutes applying the tips then she puts the powder on the most weirdest way. My nails looked like huge marshmallows (I was getting all white nails) and she kept on assuring me saying "don't worry I'll fix it later" after she is done applying all the powder we are about 1 1/2 in. I was amazed (not in a good way) when she got the filer and starts to sand all the junk down. Then she doesn't apply a acrylic top coat but just a regular one. Usually when I go to nails salons my acrylics will take 45 minutes and then another 45 for pedicure. By then she made me miss a dinner and my nails looked like crap. I didn't care about the paying part I just felt kind of cheated. Don't continue with something you've never done before and don't try to hush me down when I'm asking for your manager. I skipped the pedicure because I was there for so long. Walked out with my nails looking like crap. Thank god Kellie at Red Nails took me in the next day and painted and refined them. read more

My first time experience here was horrible! I walked in and was not acknowledged for about 15 minutes until I walked to the back and asked what I was suppose to do (sign in, just wait, etc.). I proceeded to wait another 20 minutes until someone found the paper that I had "signed in" on and the woman told me she was not able to do the gel manicure service that I wanted so I needed to wait for someone that did. Understandable, but I had been getting antsy from the long wait already. I finally got helped and the man that worked on my pedicure did great and gave a great massage. The woman that worked on my gel manicure was very nice, but the quality of the work was definitely not. I had tips on from my previous manicure and the woman did not get them all the way removed before painting my nails. It has been 3 days since my appointment and it looks like my nails have gone through 2 weeks of abuse already. I am hoping I just had a bad first impression, which is very possible, but I will be looking elsewhere in the area before I return back to this place. read more

Tammy is the best at this salon so I always make an appointment. Didn't seem to matter. First time waited 10 mins, second time ONE HOUR, decided to give them another chance and this time waited 20 mins. Looks like I'll have to find another salon. read more

The location and inside of the salon is nice and clean. However, I have had two bad experiences back to back. The first time, I got a manicure and the manicurist kept leaving me to go work on another client. Today, I walked in to have my shellac manicure removed. I was quoted $5.00, and agreed to pay. I had to have the technician redo my nails twice to get the shellac off (it was still showing after the first time she said it was finished). When I walked to the front to pay, I was told I had to pay double because she had to "touch it up". Bottom line: make sure you know what they are doing to your nails as they are working so you aren't surprised at the end. read more

I tried this salon because of all the good reviews on yelp and a friend of mine also said this place was awesome. IT IS NOT!!!! i had a total of 4 gel nail sets. 2 different sets were peeling in just days. Now here is the real problem.....In July my loving husband and i went to get pedis together. This was his first time and it was right before my 44th bday so i really wanted pretty toes. I have never had this happen before, but my cuticles on both big toes were very inflamed. I called and went to the salon to seek help. They told me to soak in Epsom salt and peroxide and in a week or so i would be fine. I was not and am not fine still. I ended up in the ER with it. Now im taking antibiotic and feel like crap plus my big toes hurt. And to add to the insult ive contacted the salon and so far they are going to do nothing about it that i know. I have also contacted the board in hopes that no one else has to suffer from this pain. read more
