Super NPWH (old yelp acronym- Nice People Work Here, c 2008!) and great work. I got a darker color for my regular pedi and it looks great even after a few days in sneakers - my only star dock is the price at $31. My daughter got the gel mani (no acrylic) for $36, so between we had about a $12-15 bump before tip (if I'm getting the prices right at the in town location, around $27 for pedi and I think $40 for combo but don't quote me!). Downtown Alpharetta is now a super cute square (Coalition is right up the street if you're going to dine....) so overall the treat was worth the money. Recommend!

It's not exactly value of money, and I didn't leave thinking my nails were amazing. In fact I'm very disappointed with the quality. The salon is well designed and welcoming. I was offered a drink while being seated which is always a nice touch. While I prefer to use my pedicure time to respond to emails, catch up on any news I may have missed, etc. I think it's always important for you and your tech to (at minimum) make introductions, with the tech checking in on preferred nail shape, sensitivities, etc...maybe 5 minutes max of "getting acquainted" conversation. The extent of our exchange was which pedicure I wanted and that was pretty much it. Not necessarily a bad thing all the time, but on this occasion it presented more sales/transactional vs. valued customer. I started writing my review mid service, assigning a three star experience at the beginning; however, the young lady at checkout was kind, conversational, and attentive, which encouraged the bump in stars from three to four. Worth checking out if you live in the area.

The first repair was a nail that CAME OFF. Like my natural nail was unharmed, the gel x on top was missing. That was fine whatever. The next day a nail on the other hand does the same thing. So I'm like "jeez! guess i'll go get this one fixed too! seems like they rushed a bit too much". I go in, and get it handled, and write the above review. This is how the classless owner responds. They "fixed" my nail hurriedly, and i had to ask EIGHT times to have it filed to the correct shape after the reapplied the messed up gel X. EIGHT. I never agreed to come back. I said I would have it handled ELSEWHERE.

I have a new spot I go to in Cumming that's right down the road from my house, but recently I was in Alpharetta running some errands and decided to go back to Posh for a pedicure before my baby shower which was the next day. I've never had a bad experience, and the staff is just so welcoming and warm. They do take walk-ins which is nice when it's a spontaneous decision like I made, but you can also make an appointment ahead of time for a specific time slot and day. The massage chairs are so comfortable, and everything feels very organized and clean. They usually have the TV on with a family friendly show or movie, and offer different service options depending on your needs and price point. I love that you get to choose your scent for the scrub (even with the lowest tiered option for a pedicure), and usually go with lemon or lavender. I never feel rushed which is super important to me, and all the estheticians are incredible and meticulous.

Holly cared to get to know me and talked to me about different products. Kim did a great job with my pedicure & massage. This may sound dumb, but my favorite part was that there's actually a lap table they put across for doing your hands during your pedicure and not just some dumb pillow that literally doesn't help anything. The layout inside is very nice and I'm OBSESSED with their fall collection of colors. I will say my only negative thing about it is the smell. It is the strongest lemon scent I've ever smelled in my life. Maybe trying to mask the acetone smell? Not sure, but way stronger of a smell than any other nail salon I've been to. So if you have a sensitivity to strong smells, don't try it. Immediately when you open the door it's very overbearing, but I was able to stand it and would say it was worth it. Very very happy and will be back!
